Good Produc
These were bought to introduce our grandkids to the delights of the Wii. Tested with Wii Fitness, the controllers seem to be of high quality and work well, and although we haven’t used the nanchuks yet they are of similar quality
Great Produc
Purchased as brought a second hand Wii so grandkids have something to play on when visiting. Arrived on time easy to use and very happy. Took a couple of attempts to pair up but that apart no issues at all. Well worth the cost.
Works Fine
Bought these so we could play with the kids at Christmas and put off giving a review until I knew they weren’t going to break second time using them. Kids have used them for mario kart, Lego star was and wii sports. Ive used them on tomb raider and resident evil 4. I’ve tried using them alongside the original remotes with wii plus and couldn’t really notice any difference. Perhaps the quality isn’t quite as good as the original but it’s so close that you wouldn’t notice, especially on family games. For the price this is really good. The kids have used them regularly for four months now. Great value and well worth the money. Glad I bought these ones.
Does the job
These controllers function correctly as motion plus as detected by games that require them. They are very fussy about sync-ing to the Wii and, for me at least, syncing a pad takes several minutes of failed attempts. that aside they do the job nicely.
What you see is what you ge
The Wii Remotes are good. They do, in fact, have Motion Plus technology inside. Pairing them to the console wasn’t too much of an issue (just press the remote’s sync button, then the Wii’s sync button, and wait for it to sync). The feel is nearly on par with the official controllers, but not quite (however, it’s easy to forget this while you’re playing; they still feel quite good).
Overall, these do the job they are set out to, and if you’re looking for a pair of Wii Remotes, these will do the job.
Don't want to let go of the WII?
The age of the WII may have passed but its still a good platform for the family… assuming you can still get it to run? Alas the WII controllers were not the most durable of controllers and so being able to get workable and reliable replacements is a must…. hence why I gave this item such a high score. Sure, it’s a holdover from yesteryear, but it works and helps breathe new life into your ancient WII.
I ordered these a few weeks ago, and they worked great. Was great to be able to get my hands on a pair of remote and nunchucks for the price of a single official wiimote. It connects well to Dolphin and to a real Wii. and all of the features work as expected.
A nunchuck however broke within a few hours of playing with it and Amazon was happy to offer to return and I ordered a new set (havent used the new one much yet).
Just ensure that you check all of the parts and play with them for the first week or so to avoid being stuck with a broken controller that you never used.
Decent build quality, seems to work as advertised, maybe not quite as responsive as original.
Seems to work quite well. Sometimes took a little longer to connect than expected, and the response just didn’t quite seem to match that of the original – did not respond to very small motion increments. However, worked well in non motion plus (e.g. Mario Kart) and motion plus (e.g. Sports Resorts) games.
Build quality was pretty good, buttons had good depth and response and construction seemed solid enough.
