Needed to have better sound coverage throughout the house so purchased this unit with 2 receivers.
They worked as soon as plugged in , very impressed.
Neighbour liked them and has ordered .
HOPE they do not pick up ring signal from next door?
Very loud at maximum volume.My mum is hard of hearing so excellent.The bell push is a bit wide for the door frame,so had to attach to the door.I bought 2 of these sets as I needed more ringers.You can pair extra ringers with one bell push.One observation though.The instructions tell you to press number 2 button on the ringer to the start the pairing.then press the bell push.It should say press and HOLD number 2 button,then it goes into pairing mode.At the moment it’s working very well,so we shall have to see.
Set up was super simple and having two ringers means the exta one can be in our kitchen, so when the fan is on we can hear the door. Had a few weeks, impressed with operation. We shall see how long the battery actually lasts, hopefully a full 3 years as claimed.
Lost one star because: 1) The doorbell chimes are silly, with only one being resonably doorbell like. 2) Opening it in the future to access the battery appears stangely difficult, once it is stuck in place. There is a notch at the top, but that would be a poor place to locate the access point as that may allow water in. The instructions picture show it being opened at the bottom, but there is no indent to insert a small flat screwdriver. We shall see, it may be easier to buy a new bell than change the battery.
I have also found another great use for the bell. It could be used as a panic type button for someone with disabilities/illnesses. It could be carried with you and pressed when needed, which is how I will be using it.
Really worth the money
