This box and card blockers are great to prevent any loss/theft. They work well and aid against blocking signals. The design and size is nice and subtle so isn’t noticeable in the house. Would recommend as a protection method!

If you have a car with keys that work remotely without pressing the button, having them too near your window makes it possible for thieves to get close to your house and clone the signal coming from your keys.

Therefore in order to be secure, you can keep your keys far from the outside wall of your house or put them in some kind of Faraday container like this one. I ordered this and was very pleased with it. It is very well made and feels very sturdy with a nice black and red pattern on the exterior which looks very nice and inside you can clearly see the thick metal mesh which blocks the em waves.

The space in the box is quite big and you could easily fit multiple sets of keys and perhaps your wallet in it to keep them secure. To test it, I put my iPhone 14 Pro Max in it and to my surprise, it fit quite comfortably. I then closed the box and my Apple watch could no longer connect to the phone, even standing right next to it. This gave me a lot of confidence in the box and I feel very comfortable storing my keys in it. On the front, there is a nice, secure clasp which keeps it securely closed.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Faraday Box.

I’m really impressed with this Faraday box, for the price I wasn’t expecting it to be so sturdy, let alone such a nice finish in terms of the soft interior and neat red stitching on the outside.

The box is well-designed with a tight closure to protect your keys, phone, cards etc. from anyone attempting to intercept the signal, giving complete peace of mind. My cars both have remote entry but are not keyless ignitions, so I have tested the effectiveness of the box by shutting my phone in it and trying to call it, which failed. My phone is set up for Wi-Fi calling as well as via the phone network, both signals must have been blocked effectively. I therefore have total confidence that it does exactly what it should.

The inside volume is decent, measuring approx. 1cm longer than my iPhone XS and similarly about 1cm wider than a bank card is long. Depth-wise it’s the same as my iPhone if laid on its side.

An added bonus are the two RFID/NFC blocking cards that are also included, which you can place in your purse or wallet to protect your bank cards.

My only slightly negative point is that I sometimes struggle to get the metal clasp/latch to release to open the box; it requires a very firm press from the underside whilst simultaneously pulling it outwards. I have found it easiest to open by tipping the box onto its back and using both thumbs together to press and lift. It is for this reason only that I have given the box 4 out of 5 rather than full stars, otherwise I am very satisfied with this product.

Nice signal blocking box for a peace of mind!

I’ve been having this fear for a while that someone would scan our car keys or garage key signal, really ever since I’ve seen it a few times on the internet as a new way that thieves operate. Always tried to ensure that our keys are a fair distance away from the door or front window, but it just wasn’t practical and after a while they’d just end up in a plain view in a bowl on a console in the hall anyway

This box is supposed to address all of this, including the fear which is somewhat irrational as obviously cars have insurance, but you just don’t want the headache of having to deal with it and also potentially missing an appointment somewhere, etc.

The box is not too large but also not too small, it will easily fit a few keys, even a mobile phone.
See photos, I also placed the two RFID blocking cards which came with it inside for a size appreciation as they’re the size of a credit card.

The box is well made for 13.99, I just wish the buckle wasn’t gold, but it will be stored inside of a unit in the hall so it doesn’t matter so much to us.
The stitching is good, it feels well made.
Lid closes tightly but that’s to ensure that there is not many gaps if at all in the special, signal blocking fabric.

I might be getting another one of these, but perhaps in a much wider but lower design where I can scatter multiple keys and see them all when opening the box instead of having to dig through to find the one I’m looking for.

All in all, happy at the price point and for the peace of mind it now provides me with!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not a high price for a peace of mind

First, let’s deal with what it does, the box exterior is well constructed, solid, the PU leather and red-stitching are well done and the case lid aligns tightly with the base, overlapping with an interior case covered with an signal-blocking silverised fabric mesh. A gold coloured buckle clamp holds it tightly closed.
It’s a tight fit because of the geometry of the interior case and the need for the top of the interior lid to securely be in contact with the inner case lid to give and effective RF blocking seal.
RF blocking, as far as can be determined is good, we can wave goodbye to our VHS metal case we were storing the car keys in, this will take a number of keys, some smaller mobile phones. Testing it with a mobile, it did block incoming calls and bluetooth connections completely as can be assessed. It does appear to do the job well and we have moved our keys into it.
What it isn’t is the additional description about the wood construction, on our case, the interior box hadn’t been effectively glued to the outer case and can be removed for deeper inspection, the wood is actually pressed fibreboard and the stitching is on the glued PU surface only not the interior- so externally it looks good and very presentable and in all honesty that’s all I really expected for the price point- it doesn’t look out of place in an prominent position in the home and does block the RF signal from the keys.
