Wooden Play Food for Kids Pretend Hamburger Set Fast Food ToyPlay Kitchen Accessories:

These are getting so much use during play time that we need more of them to create different scenarios.
Its a good size for my 7 year old .
They are made of durable wood and painted well with no concerning smells.
It also comes with a paper delivery bag and menu to maximise on the role play.

I would like more options for her, but as her dedicated delivery driver, do I really want more work?

This is a wonderful item. The ONLY concern I have with it is that some of the dark red paint has rubbed off onto the ‘menu’ sheet – and this could mean it will rub off onto pale coloured clothing and soft furnishings.

The pieces are all pleasant in the hand, and I love the detail – the chips are simple oblongs, and there are three different lengths.

This was 16.18 when I ordered, and even at that price I’d have thought twice about paying for it.
But having seen it for real, I don’t think the current 17.98 price ticket is unreasonable for a child who loves a play kitchen and/or visits to a fast food outlet. It should last for many, many years, making it a toy that can be passed down through a family.

This set has been a huge hit with a 6 and 5 year old!
This was added to a supermarket role play set and the kids were so excited to be able to order ‘hot food’ from the ‘supermarket’.

The quality is great, I much prefer the wooden products and the individual fries are just genius. Really lovely set.

What a world we live in when I was a kid we didn’t have th well actually we did, so I’m not sure what I’m talking about, but let’s review them!

First of all, this is great. My little boy absolutely adores these and has been cooking away since we gave these to him – he’s fascinated by them, and you know what so am I, I love these. They’re made of wood, which for me is such a bonus as there’s something about wooden toys which just makes them feel premium and precious, plus it makes the whole set feel strong and sturdy, which is another bonus, and they’re painted too (safe paint by the way, just in case anyone feels the need to try and put one of these in their mouths. But also, please do not do that).

My little boys loves stacking the burger pieces, serving the fries to us, asking us if we want salt and pepper, he’s playing with these so so much. And that’s wonderful to see, as honestly this is such a well made, beautifully painted set. The menu provided probably won’t last long, which is a shame but I guess if played with as much as our set it, that’s an expected outcome again, the same goes for the paper bag, but not to worry.

The whole set feels really great quality, they’re the perfect size for little hands to play with, and they make awesome props for playtime – I am genuinely really happy with these! And wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend these, definitely a 10/10 for me. Now, I best go, I have food to prepare!

Would you like cheese on yours?

This little hamburger set is very nice. It has everything in it for a child to make up their own food, and serve it up in a little takeaway brown paper bag. You have the wooden burger with the buns, burger, onion, lettuce and cheese. A bottle of cola, ketchup and mustard and a box of chips. There is even a little menu supplied. It is a very nice set and of course being wooden means it will last a lot longer and survive child play well. The only thing which would have made this better was if the burger fitted together somehow such as with a pole in the centre of the burger as the wood is so smooth that the burger falls apart everytime somebody picks it up. Or even supplying the burger with a little cardboard burger box to hold all the ingredients together rather than sliding out. Apart from that the set is very nice and well worth it.

This is a lovely tactile set, I’m sure most children will want to put a chip in their mouth they are so realistic luckily the listing says the paint is safe, plus recommends adult supervision just in case they want to take a bite. Wood has something about it that makes toys seem special. This set is nice it’s strong, the pots are smooth well made, You can see the lovely wood grain in the unpainted parts. The lids are part of the pots so not removable but fine for pretend play – rattling the chips in the pot – stacking the slices of the burger / getting it to balance. I’m not sure how long the paper bag will last… My menu has damage sadly. Its crumpled and has some red marks It’s shiny paper, perhaps a cheaper paper pad would have been nicer for repeat use. Shame as made the set less than perfect. Might even have been better without it. This menu could be copied before play for spares? Or just have plain paper for the children to make up their own. not sure about listing Cola on this menu as Hot1. I thought it’s usually chilled lol. Back to the food. Small looking but the fries are life sized, the burger is slightly smaller and sauce and coke about 1/2 sized but average play food toy sized. They do feel really nice quality.

The kids love their play food and on the whole these are some really nice additions to any setup. The wood feels really smooth and the finish is mostly really good, much smarter than many other offerings I’ve come across.

Value wise they are a bit on the pricey side for what you get if not on a deal, especially as they’re not perfect. For example I had some paint issues such as on the fries container (image attached) and some minor scuffs on a couple other items. The latter could have been helped with better packaging, as only the ketchup bottle was wrapped separately from the other items.

Great, another wood not plastic toy.
Easy to play with, make a burger, fries and sauces, then even put it in the paper bag.
My only gripe is that the assembled burger doesn’t stay together. Small magnets or dowel would have kept them assembled. Good fun for kids or the fast food addicts
