Got this very cheap but it looks great and definitely protects from the bright Sun when snowboarding. For the price it is awesome I would definitely recommend it! I believe I paid $10 or $15.
Bought for first time skiing. Absolutely no issues with them at all. They do the same job as the high end brands.
If you’re not sure what VLT% to buy, I would recommend buying one set of low and one high percentage lens’ to allow for either sunny or cloudy days. I went for an in the middle VLT% assuming it would be fine for both however they struggled in the cloudy conditions as they were too dark but were absolutely fine in sunny conditions (my fault not the product).
Wore the 17.3% goggles for a week in the Alps. They were perfect for sunny days skiing. Fit was good for a small female, intermediate standard doing mostly blue and red runs, with the occasional black bit. They were comfortable and fitted well with the helmet.
Only two things to be aware of – when it was cloudy or in shadow the light was very flat and more difficult to see the snow. At this price I’d suggest buying two pairs of goggles – one suited for bright conditions and one for cloudy. The other – I only wore glasses under them one day – the goggles didn’t fog up, but the glasses did occasionally. Simply letting a bit of air in seemed to do the trick, but if I had to wear glasses all the time I’d look into some ways to treat the glasses for anti-fog.
Genuinely very impressed with these and would recommend for going away for a week or doing occasional skiing.
