Antonki Room Thermometer Indoor Hygrometer, Humidity Meter
Antonki Room Thermometer Indoor Hygrometer, Humidity Meter for Home, Humidity Gauge, Temperature and Humidity Monitor, Digital Humidity Sensor for Bedroom, Incubator, Greenhouse, Terrarium – Pack of 2
!NOTES:
✔We consider it is NORMAL when the reading difference of 2 monitors is between ±2℉ & ±5%RH, even they are positioned in the same place;
✔Please do not compare it with other wall monitors, since the temperature and humidity sensors of those monitors may be positioned in the ceilling or outdoor, bringing a misleading reading gap;
✔This indoor hygrometer thermometer is for home use, not for strict lab use.
HOW TO GET AN ACCURATE READING?
The key is 3 minutes calibration automatically before using
The reading is not accurate when you just turn on this hygrometer thermometer. It needs to be calibrated before using.
After calibrating, the reading difference of 2 monitors will keep stable between ±2℉ & ±5%RH. If not, please calibrate again.
Each time you transfer this temperature and humidity gauge to a new room, please provide 3~5 minutes at least to calibrate it again.
How to calibrate:
Step.1 – Turn off the room thermometer, and wait for 5 minutes;
Step.2 – Turn on and Wait for 3~5 minutes at least to let it calibrate automatically; ( The reading is not accurate during calibrating. )
Step.3 – Check if the reading difference of 2 monitors is between ±2℉ & ±5%RH or not. If not, run it again!

Mine seem very accurate I placed both of them in the same position to test and they both totally agreed with each other, which indicates that they are accurate.
They are quite dim though and not the easiest thing to read, but you can just about.
The built-in stand does a good job.
Good looking, very easy to set up, working well. This is a very good thermometer: well visible from a distance, accurate, digital, looks stylish. It was extremely easy to set up, and it’s working well ever since (about a month ago or so.)
Good size, great value! I’ve lost count of the amount of room thermometers I’ve bought, and this has been the best by far. It’s been accurate and I don’t have to squint or put on my glasses to see it, as it’s a good size.
It’s perfect for my needs and the fact you get 2 is a huge bonus.
I’ll update this review on battery life as the ones I’ve purchased in the past have very poor battery life.
Cheap but does the job well After calibration both units were reading the same in my room. Temperature was accurate and the humidity seems about right though I cannot verify.
One of the units did have display issues but a few tactical love taps on the screen resolved the issue.
Now I use one to monitor my 3D printer spools that need to be stored in a dry box and the other monitors plants. Very good value for money in my opinion.
Slow To Respond - But Get There In The End I bought these to help decide whether or not I needed to buy a dehumidifier (spoilers: I bought a dehumidifier). I really didn’t know if I even needed a hygrometer or not, so didn’t want to spend too much money.
The instructions say to turn them both on and they will more or less agree with each other in 3-4 minutes. I wonder if this is a mistranslation and they mean 3-4 hours? I don’t remember how long it took for them to agree with each, maybe two hours. But agree with each other they eventually did and my Hive thermostat agreed temperature with these.
So, I concluded that temperature readings can be trusted, if given enough time to adjust if you move its location. One has ended up in direct sunlight a few times, giving an indicated reading of 33C, it took a few hours next to my Hive to cool down and agree with the Hive again.
I bought a dehumidifier, when I first switched that on, after a minute or so the dehumidifier agreed with the hygrometers; so I concluded that relative humidity readings can be trusted. I since went on to learn more about relative humidity (RH) and how temperature effects RH. These meters help inform me when I need to run my dehumidifier, or for how long.
As cheap plastics go, these feel much better than expected at this price point. The two position kick stand is sturdy however might cause part of the LCD screen to flash when the kick stand is moved. Or, there’s two magnets on the back, so it happily sticks to a fridge.
I am very happy with my purchase. I have a two bedroom flat, so maybe I should have bought more. Or maybe I will buy a more complex hygrometer that will track min/max readings, now that I’m more experienced understanding what the data means for me.
Great little room thermometers These are very useful (but who knows how accurate they are) room thermometers with a humidy reading.
They have large and clear numerals which are easy to read.
Easily switchable from C to F (and an OFF setting to preserve the battery) and a very sturdy 2-position stand.
I have a mercury thermometer stuck (wuth blu-tack) to the wall and two further room thermometers (one measures indoor/outdoor) and the other is very small (around 12mm x 25mm) and as of the time I’m writing this they say 22.4C, 25C, 19.2C and 21C (this unit says 22.4C) so what IS the room temperature? Taking an average of these, you’d say 21.9C making this unit the closest to the average!
The specifications say 2F (which is 1.1C) so the temperature could be as low as 21.3C or as high as 23.5C.
Good for an indication anyway but accurate – who knows *shrugs*
