I bought these for moderate dry eyes that are sometimes aggravated by allergies. My usual ones were out of stock so I thought I’d give these a go. As eye drops they do the job well, are good at soothing and lubricating my eyes and I have no complaints about them at all. What I have to highlight is the awesome dispenser on the bottle! When I first got them I wasn’t entirely sure how to use it as I’d never seen anything like it – I’d always had bottles that you either have to squeeze firmly or some kind of thing at the top that you press in that works half the time but also gets stuck. This has a dispenser that is super easy to use and lets you hold the bottle really steady to get the drops out in a controlled way. You also need very little pressure to make it work perfectly every time. This made it really easy to use exactly the right dose. If you have ever struggled with annoying bottles where you either can’t get it out or end up with lots of extra drops, then this is the one for you! I will probably buy this product again now over my regular brand due to the dispenser.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Great Dispense

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese eye drops last for 6 months when open which is fantastic when other eye drops last only 1 month after open. The only eye drop iv found that doesn’t irritate my eyes! But I will not buy them of Amazon again. The use by date from Amazon is only 8 months away so if my current drops last more then 2 months these drops will go off before the 6 months. Will stick to buying from super drug next time where the use by date is around 1 year.

4.0 out of 5 stars Terrible expiration date from Amazon !

Seem to be doing the trick they have reduced my eye itching and soreness from hayfeaver. The dispenser is really good and easy to dispense the drops accurately into the eye

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve very irritated eyes. Between hayfever and allergies to cats and dogs. These drops have helped. I’d say takes away 90% of the issues. Not overly nippy either.
Love you’ve got a 6 month window to use them. So little more pricey to buy. However no wastage as longer shelve life.
I’ve used alot of drops these are a go to now for me. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThe eye drops (both Protect and Night) have been working great for me, what initially influenced my choice besides customers’ input was: no preservative and are good for 6 months after first use. I haven’t regretted purchasing those which I have been using for the past couple of years. The applicator may (has for some) be a bit awkward to get used to at first but once you get the hang of it, you should be good to go from then on.

There is however an issue with some batches expiry dates, and I’ve had the exact same problem than the 2 previous reviewers prior to me, and the picture in one shows the exact same batch number and expiry date I’ve received today, and the second actually name the seller which I’ve realised when looking at my order, is the exact same one I purchased if from, though fulfilled by Amazon. That was my mistake when ordering since I did not pay attention and ended up with a product from an another seller rather than Amazon directly. Mistake learned. Issue reported and as Amazon is looking to it, but word to the wise: you want to purchase it directly from Amazon as, since I was told they have a strict policy regarding expiry dates, you are less likely to end up with this type of issue. It would be a shame people be put off by this issue, and so given the pattern here with expiry, best to stick getting them directly from Amazon, not to say it can never happen but less likely to with products with a limited shelf life.

Update October 24 22: oh the irony, the drops I’ve received today and which I’ve made sure were sold by Amazon directly have an expiry date of 03/23. So that’s 2 months less use as, given there are no preservatives, you do not want to take the chance to put those drops in your eyes beyond the expiry date, even if there is generally a small widow of the product perhaps still be OK to use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSince I started wearing glasses a few years back I’ve found sometimes my eyes start to feel tired and irritated after a while. At times this can be quite uncomfortable.

These drops have been good for easing that irritation. The dispenser took a bit of getting used to at first, but I’ve been through a couple of bottles now and found a way to make it work for me.

These drops worked better for me than an other brand I tried. Good enough I’ll stick with these unless optician warns me away for some reason.

Well worth trying if you find you get irritated eyes.
