not very happy it arrived unsealed
for its price i would have expected it to be be sealed as new ,,i do not trust products without the seal . as it could be a return ..i did test a small amount , as it helped with my dry skin . but because of its price – i will return and ask for a new sealed one – due to risks of contamination .
Absolutely fantastic – after only a few days it has cured my itchy skin and soothed my back. After a week or so the scabs have gone from my back and skin healed. I would recommend this cream to anyone.
Best applied after a lukewarm shower. Personally I apply this ‘balm’ product at night (since it is very heavy), and use the lighter emollient throughout the day. Just don’t use ‘too much’ though as then you might itch, you only need a little bit as it is very thick. Fairly priced too.
had awful allergic reactions lately which left my skin on my chest feeling rough and dry – used this cream for a few days and my skin has never felt so soft, truly amazed! really recommended
I bought this after spending an absolute fortune on other things, i suffer with my nerves really bad, and one of my knuckles flared up and started to crack, it drove me nuts with the itching…but obviously then it would become very sore….this doesnt do an overnight miracle, but it did ease the soreness and itching, but after a week the flare up started to settle, its practically gone. Not so greasy as other items i bought. Just so grateful….thank you. i also bought white cotton gloves to keep it on which helped a great deal.
A good moisturiser but when i apply it on face my face start burning as i was using acne medicine which cause extreme dryness on my face. It works good but in start when apply my face burning for 10 mints and after 10 mints my face become normal
I have suffered from unexplained red, very dry and itchy skin patches (eczema) for the past 4 months around my eyes and on my neck. I have tried so many products to get rid of it; sudocream, Nivea moisturiser, diprobase from the pharmacy, a hemp moisturiser, oils – nothing has worked. I received this item two days ago and my skin has almost completely cleared! An absolute miracle product.
It hydrates so well and isn’t sticky nor does it smell. I love how hydrated and plump it makes my skin and have even started using it as a face moisturiser. Can’t recommend this enough.
I have been using other Aveeno products for a couple of years and they calmed my Eczema down. Then I tried the Dermexa balm and emollient creams and my Eczema has completely gone. The balm was effective on the really bad spots on my inner elbows and the backs of my knees. I’m so pleased I used this product. My quality of life has improved immeasurably.
I think I have eczema or some form of dermatitis. It is extremely itchy and the rash responds to steroids but it keeps coming back bcz I constantly scratch. I have tried multiple creams with no luck. This cream is AMAZING, have been using it for 2 weeks and it has literally has stopped the itch. And my skin is starting to improve. I will buy another.

I was optimistic about this product, as I had been using cream from the doctor for my eczema on my hands for years, almost everyday. I can say I have not used the cream from my doctors since I got this. There isn’t really a scent and a little goes a long way, I’m not particularly found of the texture of my hands once it has soaked in but it’s a small price to pay for years of using steroid cream! Highly recommend for anyone who suffers with eczema, cracked hands or dry hands, it lasts so long
It does stop itching!
I got this for an itchy rash rather than very dry skin, it worked in soothing a large area and it is not greasy or smelly. Expensive, but was worth it and actually, compared to some “cosmetic” body lotions, it is not that expensive.

This stuff is fab. I was having a serious eczema outbreak and this really helped to calm it down. Only criticism if how greasy it is but as it is an emollient that is to be expected. Put it in the fridge for added relief when the itching is bad. Use in combination with the body wash.
A cream to cure dry ski
I suffer from really bad dry skin, especially during COVID I’m washing my hands a lot more, so thought I’d give this a try. The cream definitely helped my dry skin. The cream isn’t really thick but rubs in easily. But your hands will feel quite slippery for a minute or two before the cream dries. Given it 4 stars for that reaso
Worked for me!
I’ve had severe eczema since birth, and have been searching for the one cream that actually works for so long. This one is it for me! I use it on my face and anywhere that itches. It’s a godsend!! Has really helped calm down flare ups, and has minimise topical steroid use.
I see that it hasn’t worked for some people (we all have different skin!) But for me it’s a winner!!! 10/10
Definitely helped
I think this has helped get my son’s skin back to a reasonable place. He was itching his ezcema so badly and all the other (non-aveeno) emollients werent working effectively or for long enough. This has calmed his skin down and he is not aggressively itching around the clock anymore. I have only been using this a few days and not even a full week. Also using with the daily wash as well.

I had patches above my eye, between eyebrow and eyelid, which were red and flaky, I had them for about 3 months. I was applying doublebase 4+ times a day but it wasnt going away, after a day or so of using this, its gone. A tiny bit is still there if i dont apply anything for a week or so, but as long as I put some of this there once every 2-3 days it stays away.
My son had suffered with eczema since being born , we have never found a long term cream or body wash that stopped his skin from drying out or going red . After a bad 6 months when the cream we did use with some success was discontinued his skin Became red , inflamed and very itchy. Made worse by sun tan lotion in the summer I was at my whits end . Nothing the doctor gave us ever worked including the green top aveeno . I have spent hundreds of pounds on creams and then I stumbled upon this range of aveeno . We have used this in combination with the same wash and oh my goodness what a difference . No more flaky skin in the bed , no more itchy and bleeding legs. Smooth skin that does not dry out over night . He uses this daily now and we have not touched a steroid cream for months . Please don’t discontinue this range , I am even going to show my doctors so they can recommend to others !
In my adulthood I have developed mild eczema on my hands, which can be very dry and itchy. I have tried many different hand creams, some of which were quite expensive, but this balm has been amazing. I saw results just after a few days! and now almost a week later my hands are near enough back to normal. I did not want to use steroid creams due to the side effects, and I wanted a product that doesn’t include any nasty ingredients. This product fits the bill. I could not recommend it enough and will definitely be re-purchasing.
