Currently using on my mountain bike. Have used or cross country elements of daily ride – not full banging though.
Very easy to fit. Good set of instructions although the unit itself is intuitive.
Good firm fixing to the bike.
Phone very easy to get in and out but still with a firm hold.
Very little phone movement – expect some with bike banging around but acceptable.
Currently very good price. Happy to recommend in a crowded market.

The Babacom Bike Phone Holder has proven to be a reliable companion for my rides, offering both security and convenience. Its sturdy construction instills confidence, ensuring that my phone stays securely in place throughout the journey.

One of its standout features is the user-friendly design. Unlike other holders that require tedious screwing, this holder boasts a simple mechanism — just press the sides to effortlessly open and close the clamp. This makes it easy to insert or remove the phone without any hassle.

I was particularly impressed by the heavy-duty clamp, which firmly grips onto the handlebars without any slippage. Whether I’m riding my motorbike or bicycle, the holder stays in place, providing peace of mind even on bumpy terrains.

Overall, I am pleased with the Babacom Bike Phone Holder’s performance. It delivers on its promise of security and convenience, making it an essential accessory for any cyclist or motorcyclist.

His is a very well made holder, simply slide the phone into the holder and it clamps nice and secure holding it perfectly. To attach to the handlebars simply clamp the clamp on and secure. Will hold any phone nice and secure.

I occasionally use a Buell motor bike and I wanted a phone holder for it because the speedometer bounces and sometimes I struggle to read it consequently I wanted to use my phone as a digital speedometer. I also wanted my phone mounted on my bike to enable me to use of Sat Nav (Waze).

When this arrived was really pleased when I opened the packaging and saw that the phone holder was very chunky and felt very robust, not flimsy like other’s I’ve seen in the past. It was easy to fit to my bike, it literally only took 60 seconds to fit! Once the phone holder is mounted on your handle bars, fitting the phone to it is very easy, it quickly locks in place and unlocks quickly and easily, no fumbling around with complex fittings.

I’ve found that many phone holders don’t fit Buell motorcycles as the one I use has proper bars, not slip on bars, however this phone holder works really well on my Buell. When I ride my bike it stays solidly in place and I am 100% confident that neither the phone or the holder were going to work loose. The phone doesn’t bounce or shake about so it’s easy to read the screen whilst riding.. Also, whilst riding you can easily adjust the angle and position of the phone to your liking, it’s not locked in one position which is useful. Overall really pleased with this phone holder and would definitely recommend to others bikers!

This Bike Phone Holder is a very well made and thought out item. The plastic parts are quite robust, especially the handlebar grip. The stainless steel ‘spider arms’ are a great touch – much stronger than plastic and they won’t rust.

The quick open side plunger lever makes affixing the phone a breeze compared to those types that are ‘always on’ spring loaded. The arms lock into the outermost position. When you press the back of your phone home against the central arm release button, the springs are released and the arms grip your phone – genius! A quick squeeze of the release buttons and your phone can be retrieved easily.

The grip arms can hold an almost 7″/175mm high and 3-7/8 / 95mm wide phone. They are fixed aspect ratio, with the arms projecting out of the body at a fixed angle, so there’s little wiggle room for unusually wide phones. The arm claws will hold a phone with case of about to about 12mm thickness. I was able to hold my Galaxy Note 20 *with LED view case* easily and securely.

The ball joint between the phone holder and the handlebar clamp grips well and is rotatable with no detent stops. This will allow adjustment to the ideal viewing angle which would be difficult with fixed landscape/portrait stops when used on angled/canted handlebars. Some may prefer detent 90/180 stops, though.

In use, the mount stays aligned with no slippage, even on the UK’s potholed roads.

There’s no quick release of the mount itself, so you have to unscrew it or leave on unattended Bike and hope no-one steals the mount itself…

At 16.99 (minus 50% voucher if offered = ~8.50!) when reviewed, the mount is exceptionally good value.

All in all, a great mount that I thoroughly recommend.

      Babacom Bike Phone Holder.
I fitted this phone holder on my grandsons mountain bike, it was simple to fit and seems very sturdy on the bike and grips his phone really well.
It is very simple to add and remove your phone quickly.
Overall, everything seems very sturdy and not likely to fall off over rough terrain.

Fitting the holder to the handlebars is simple enough: a large screw controlled by an easy to turn knob does that. Not having to mess around with a screwdriver is lovely, but it also means the clamp bit of this is quite heavy at around 100g.

Operating the other bit is made more complicated than it surely needs to be because you need the back of your phone to press on a not very good button in the middle of it.

The screen diagonal sizes in the description look right, but because of the camera bar on the past few generations of Google Pixel phones, thickness can be an issue. In a solid case that’s certainly not a ‘wallet’ or ‘battery’ type, a Pixel 8 only JUST fits because of this… and also makes ensuring that that button is pressed harder than it should be.

If you’ve got a phone with a flat back, you may well like it more than I do.

The kit was supplied in good condition and mostly assembled. Instruction were included. The instructions are well illustrated and the text meaningful and helpful.

Out of the box are two main components, the clamp that locks the holder onto the handlebars in my case, or any other circular surface, pram handle, scooter handle, there will be many things.

The clamp part is extremely dense and robust, which is appropriate because that’s going to be doing the “heavy lifting” for the holder, there are rubberised liners to the jaws of the clamp which protect the surface you are locking the clamp to. The clamp opens to accommodate quite a large tube, about 40mm in diameter and will clamp down to about 20mm.

The clamp in turn is attached to the main phone holder by way of a tightening (universal) ball joint (The only assembly you have to do), this was easy to position and tighten.

The phone is then inserted into the body of the holder by squeezing the two horizontal bars in, the four corner clamps extend outward and close back when the horizontal bars are released. the phone is locked in from falling out by the shape of the front of each gripper, these four grippers are also lined with a rubber compound to protect the phone.

The phone is pushed forward into the grippers by a sprung loaded button in the middle of the holder, which serves to reduce rattle. All of the clamps and grips are firm and seem strong enough for the task they have to achieve.

The unit is well designed to cater for many different sizes of phone and many different sizes of handlebars etc. Care has been taken to look after the edge of the phone and the item it’s being clamped to. A thoughtful design, appropriately manufactured.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trustworthy phone holder.

I like the sturdiness of the mount, I am confident it will work and not come loose. It’s made of metal and is extremely well constructed.

Likewise, I am happy with the way the mount connects to the phone holder part. This is also a good and solid connection, easily adjustable and not likely to fall off or come loose.

However I am slightly less confident about the phone holder itself. It’s mostly plastic, with metal sprung arms in each corner. It’s pretty rainy where I live, so it will be getting damp and humid quite often; I’d be nervous about those metal arms becoming corroded. Which is not to say that they will, but I’ll need to report back in a few months to let you know how it’s held up in the weather here.

Also, the quick release mechanism takes a bit of practice. As advertised one can do it one-handed, but it requires a bit of a knack and it’s worth investing some time to get the hang of it.
