It lives up to the description with a tough outer layer, strong carry handle and double zips. The inside is softer with an area for the device to lay in and then an additional flap over the top to protect it. This is supposed to be used to put discs in (not sure why as you don’t need discs). There is also a zipped mesh area in the top of the box for cables.
I see that this is on offer at the moment so even better value. Hope this helps …..
First impressions as i’ve only used this as a protective case twice in my rucksack carrying the portal.
It’s nice and secure being that it’s moulded to suit the ps portal so it keeps it in place without it moving around.
Material is nice and soft, no chance of picking up any scratches, the outer case/shell will protect against damage if in your rucksack.
The disc holder flap inside is odd as you don’t carry discs with you? It folds over tho so adding extra layer of protection inside.
This case will protect against drops while in transit, i’m very careful anyway so it’s just added protection in a rucksack.
Nice quality, no fraying edges or any issues so far, zip feels good and doesn’t snag.
This is a great semi-hard case for the PS Portal and whilst not entirely a hard case as such, it is pretty protective. I ride a motorbike and use this for throwing my portal into my backpack and not worrying about it getting beat up or scratched and it works perfectly for that. it’s pretty lightweight, has a little bit of storage in the top of the case and though I find the disc holder a bit weird given the fact it’s likely your discs will be at home, in your PS5, the pocket works well as a screen protector and a secure strap to make sure your Portal doesn’t rattle about in the case. The mouldings are all perfect and the material inside has a nice soft feel to it, so all in, this should keep everything in top shape, unless you really beat things up or expect to throw your Portal down a few flights of stairs routinely. To be honest, I do think this could probably survive even that, now I think about it. Overall I’m happy with it. i just wanted a nice, solid case that would protect my Portal in my bag and this does that and then some.
This is a CoBak Hard Shell Carrying Case for PS5 Portal.
The case is made of Oxford Fabric EVA Anti-Scratch material for solid protection in light grey.
On the outside is a zip with 2 zippers that go effectively all around case in opposite directions so that you can open the lid of the case completely.
On the back of the case is a handy carry handle made of rubber compound and feels sturdy in your hand.
Inside the case is the main compartment for the PS5 portal that has a moulded material area to safely store the portal. This area is flexible with padding to fully protect the Portal whilst in transit.
Above this storage area are 3 separate sleeves for carrying the PS5 discs.
The top area of the case is a zipped compartment with mesh for storing charging cables etc.
Overall this is a very stylish robust case for the PS5 Portal which protects it well and has additional room for accessories and is very good.
Bought 3 of these. Yellow, pink and blue. They are just perfect for the Switch lites. Screeen protector was easy to apply. Loved that it has space for your games. The addition of a silicon case as well as the zip up case means its extra protected.
Arrived quickly too.
Fits in perfectly, it might seem like it doesn’t fit at first but you just place it in and zip it up with no problem. Plenty of space for games and love the colour. Exactly what I was looking for and have no faults with it.
