Well built, easy to install, looks good and is inexpensive compared to other cases. Plenty on room for a RTX 3090 in there too, which is why I bought it.
Looks good with 3 RGB fans at the front too.
Thank you so much 🙂 Awesome case upgrade 🙂 Fantastic airflow and great build quality 🙂 Through no fault of the sellers own, the first one they sent out was stolen by the carrier, I contacted them and they were so sweet about it and got it all sorted out for me 🙂 thank you so much I’m super grateful 🙂
I have has mine for a few months, it does what its meant to do, the airflow in the case is amazing, if you have a mid-range PC id even argue that 1 in-take and 1 exhaust fan would be enough. Of course the more in-take is better but this case is perfect for any type of build. Big thanks to Corsair for this one!.
The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case is a dream for PC enthusiasts seeking both performance and aesthetics. Its optimized airflow design keeps components cool even during intense gaming sessions, while the tempered glass side panel showcases your build with elegance. With ample space for cable management and easy-to-use features like tool-free installation, this case makes building and maintaining your PC a breeze. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, the Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW is a top-notch choice for your next build.
This new 2024 version has one huge improvement.
It gets warm not hot. So charges at a cooler temperature than its predecessor (which I stopped using because too hot). Great value too
I had a 650D before this (over 10 years and still as good as new) and wanted to move to something smaller and nicer looking. I wanted to stick with Corsair as their customer support always went above and beyond. The only issue building in this is getting the cables into your PSU and then installing the HDD/SSD cage in the PSU shroud, it’s a tight squeeze. Other than that, this a dream to build in. It’s a beautiful case in person and cable management is a breeze. With little effort, my PC looks professionally built.
A tip for builders – the SSD brackets on the back of the motherboard plate – you install those on top of the brackets, not inside them. Took me a while to figure that one out.
Really nice case and easy if you are a new builder. It looks smart, stick some noctua fans in there and this thing is quiet despite being “airflow” downside is that it actually does it job well and is going to collect a lot of dust…. but then keep your place clean and tidy…. Yes very happy with this case. The corsair case fans in there are also quiet so I kept them in there…. Yeah nice…
Pros – convenient, just place and leave, no concern over damaging charging port, great value for money.
Excellent when twinned with Spigen MagSafe Charger Stand.
Cons – handset can still get quite warm/hot. Can’t use phone whilst charging.
Great for overnight charging or folks who WFH as you just place your phone down on it between calls/use.
I love this case! It’s nice and spacious and looks fantastic! Only downside is how long I waited for it to arrive, shipping took a few weeks (and by shipping I mean I was waiting for it to ship, once it was shipped it arrived in 2 days I think).
One thing I didn’t consider though, is the type-c plug in the front panel. Completely forgot that was there and my motherboard doesn’t have a connection for it so it’s just hanging out in the back, not plugged in.
I couldn’t find any nice pink/white cases and since I liked this one so much I spray painted the gray parts pink, looks incredible I love her so much!!
Totally recommend this case!!
Pleasure to build with this case. Planty of room for cable managment behind motherboard. You can adjust it to your liking by moving HDD tray or totally removing it. Easy to clean filters, tempered glass panel looks gorgeus. Big step up from my old case, fits arctic freezer 2 240 with ease (my old case was too shallow and fans were unable to fit because of the radiator on motherboard). Rather beefy cards like my TUF 4070 ti super also with without any issues – You can easly fit bigger ones.
10/10, totally worth it. Hard to imagine anything better for 75 quid.
Case looks really nice and is a modern design. Fans look great and the colour can be seen well through the front. SSD slots didn’t work well with my Samsung 850 EVO SSD so I didn’t use them. Had to remove the hard drive holders to allow the power cables to sit better, maybe that’s just me not being able to cable manage that well. Case is easy to use and the glass panel looks great. Came with 2 fans. Very decent case for the price.
Great value at under 80. Nice and sleek design cable management is great. HOWEVER there is no CD/DVD slot so may be a miss for some or just buy an external disc drive caddy.
NOTE! Ensure your psu cables can reach as this design is made towards the modular psu the 24 pin connector will reach its target but the 8 pin mother board just reached the model psu I am using is the power cool 85 plus 650w semi modular from 2012 and a mini atx board ASUS PRIME B450M-A. This was just from my pov
In all areas considered The Corsair 4000D RGB is a Really Premium Choice!
To summarize, A really solid Product, with some very nice touches throughout the product and constructed by a well respected brand name in the PC Build space.

I decided to pick a Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB Airflow Case to house my new AM5X670E build.
The Ryzen 9 7950X3D will be right at home inside this case.
This is a premium product both in-terms of look’s and actual feel incl. Build quality with some very nice touches throughout. For Example the Corsair 4000D Case has well though out internal cable management and a “Channel” around the rear backplate, to funnel your main cable bundle through..
– This Case arrived well Packaged, it included x3 Corsair 120mm Elite RGB Fans, RGB Lighting & Fan controller.. Another example of a Premium “Feeling” product are the top Lid Power/Reset button which have a nice “soft-click” feel to it, not too “Clicky”, not too soft feeling when depressed but just the right Feel and sound, not forgetting the USB 3.2 Type C and Type A connectors..
– The front face of the Case is removable, providing access to the front dust screen. This removable Front face panel is solid and NOT made of plastic or is flexible which is a good thing which adds to the overall premium feel of this Case. The mechanism to attach and detach this front face panel feels robust enough to keep working for the long terms not just a gimmicky thing but functional aspect of this cases design!
– The protective wrap on the Glass pane is a excellent touch, especially helpful during the initial build stage where its easy to leave the odd hands print here and there, this protective wrap definitely eliminates most of this issue..
– One of my favorite features of this case are the dust filters/Mesh, This Case combines Three filters in total: One large Top filter (Magnetized), One Large Clip Filter on Front (Filter/Fine Mesh) Screen and also a Small Filter on the underside or the Bottom by the PSU area.. As from past experience, without these dust filters PC Case’s do become quite dusty when all fans are spinning full tilt & sucking up into the case, With these dust filters it will be a huge difference from PC Cases without them.
The only minor downsides:
The only downside is that there is not enough room to house a 360mm AIO or Rad/Cooler on the top.
A 360mm will fit in the front, if planning on doing a Push/Pull on 360mm you will only find clearance for 5 out of 6 fans (missing x1 fan on the lower part) Maybe there are some ultra slim fans which can be used for full 6 fan push/pull on a 360mm, I’m yet to look properly, another thought will be for GPU length so just be warned if planning on using a 360mm H20 Rad/Fans Setup..
– What I would have really liked to have seen would have be some Physical Diagram/Illustration or simple user guide bundled inside the box, Yes, I know a PDF is available online, however a physical manual would have been super helpful but I can live without one though!
In all areas considered The Corsair 4000D RGB is a Really Premium Choice!
To summarize, A really solid Product, with some very nice touches throughout the product and constructed by a well respected brand name in the PC Build space.
I’ll update this with Full Build Vid AM5 Ryzen 9 7950X3D/Asus X670E/NoGPUYet/Vengeance 2x16GB RGB DDR5@6000MHz/NVMe/SSDs/HDDs/Corsair HX1500i PSU/Corsair H150i RGB Elite 360mm and of course The Corsair 4000D RGB Case!
Hope This helps!
Good case provides a robust layout to allow you to maximise the cable management side of things.
One critique would be the psu aspect you should consider Corsair’s shift psu to optimise space.
Having transferred an existing pc to allow for a longer gpu installation into this case, my psu was a bit of a struggle to get in even though it was modular. This was cause by needing to retain the 2.5 inch hardrive bays.
If you need to have Sata drives I’d recommend the shift otherwise you’ll end up with cables pushing right up against the drive bays.
It also makes it a bit difficult when connecting everything up.
Other than that the case is great and looks slick.
Had the psu had more space without needing to invest in a shift psu I would of given it 5 stars.
