The smaller birds love this feeder hanging off my washing line
I put this small feeder on my washing line filled with bird feed and the amount of small birds that can use it to the detriment of the larger Birds who are jealous is actually good.
I did have a larger bird table for the crows and magpies but they were always chasing off the smaller birds having this nearby means all the birds except the seagulls can get a good feeding.
Construction is good it’s very easy to use and it hangs off my washing line without any problems overall I am happy with this product and will continue using it.
Don’t use if you have starlings!
I loved the idea of these just dropping the seed down as the birds fed from the holes at the base, however the starlings just target them and empty the entire contents out in a matter of hours. It’s like they flick all the seed out to get to the bits they want so it ends up all over the ground instead. I decided to try dried mealworms in them instead but the starlings also emptied those out everywhere within a day. My last resort is going to be to out fat balls in them and see if that slows them down.
Easy to clean and looks grea
I quite like this bird feeder. Its sturdy, holds plenty of seed and is very easy to clean.
The birds have taken to it straight away so whats not to like?
