Simple to use and makes great coffees easy to clean and refill as well, coffee is good temp also
The plug is uk plug and as good length to it highly recommend as a budget coffee machine
Great customer service
Great Customer Service from Dolce Gusto. The needle at the centre of the unit got jammed with limescale after 11 months. The spring at the bottom of the drainer can be used to unjam the needle.
Check the height. It's taller now so you cannot open a cupboard above it.
The machine works very well but beware if putting it on a kitchen work surface below fitted cupboards or in front of them. The machine has been made taller now so you cannot get it under a head height cupboard or open a cupboard door if you put it in front of one.

Nice item, use kettle to refill water tank as that’s a bit annoying ( fresh water) a little bit noisy but it’s only temp filling coffee cup. Great item otherwise . Esp when on offer.
Dolce gusto machine.
This is my 3 rd dolce gusto coffee maker machine in14 years they never fail to make me a lovely cup of coffee I would highly recommend a machine to anyone.
Looks nice but……
It looks nice and does what it’s supposed to. It’s not as robust as my previous one which lasted ages, especially the tank and cover which are a flimsy. It’s noisier too. Make sure you remove the pods after use as my experience is that they stick in.

I needed a new machine and paid extra for this one lovely to at and very stylish machine, This cost more only to find that it has none of the features that the cheaper machine has, no water cut off so if you don’t keep an eye on how much water is going into the cup the cup over flows and your counter top is flooded and its really noisy! Also its all guesswork on how much water is supposed to go though the pod to make your perfect coffee.
So pay more for your machine or pay less if you don’t want a flooded kitchen or guess work coffee, but if you want something lovely to look at buy this. I know what I’m buying next time
Amazing coffee machine
Purchased this machine to replace an older model which finally gave up making great coffee, this was highly discounted so was able to buy the better model than originally planned.
The machine is easy to use, the pods are easy to add and remove without causing a mess
The water container is easy to fill as it has a nice hatch that can be removed and the machine is easy to clean and each part that can be removed can be done with ease.

First time coffee machine
Great first time coffee machine, perfect for those people who want to try but not spent a fortune. I got this for 40 and feel it was good value for money. Pods can be expensive but if you shop round you can pick up for around 23p per drink, even cheaper if you get lucky. Supply’s both hot and cold water. Hot water can be a little too hot to drink straight away so may need to leave drink to cool down.
Great coffee machine
Had this make of machine for years & very pleased how it works & how coffee tastes. Plenty of choice of pods. My machine started leaking so I purchased a replacement The new design functions the same but more flimsy. I can’t see the water holder & especially the lid lasting as long as old machine. Also you must remember to remove used pods straightaway or machine locks & you need to turn off for a while then back on to remove pods. Although I sound a bit negative I would certainly recommend and buy again.
I bought this coffee machine to replace a different model that unfortunately stopped working.
What I like about this model is the swan like neck which means that you can use different sized cups, standard coffee cups/mugs, but also tall Latte coffee cups. simply twist the stand to the required height of the cup and your ready to go, this feature really save on the coffee splashing all over the place as the cup is closer to the opening.
It has a generous water container, so fewer fill-ups are needed.
I find these coffee machines more economic than boiling the kettle for a drink as you never have to boil more water than you need, (The coffee pods can be a bit pricey at times, so you do need to shop around). but over-all it does save on electricity which now-a-days has to be a good thing.
The shape and style of this coffee maker is also great, you can stand it in a corner on a work surface and it does not seem unsightly. The unit does seem to be a bit noisy when in use, but no more than other makes. Overall I am pleased with this unit.
Instant Hot Coffee at the touch of a button!
I was excited to receive my Dolce Gusto coffee machine which was delivered very fast to my local collection point. Looks very smart on my worktop and doesn’t take up much room. It was simple to use but my only criticism was the instruction book which showed lots of pictures but didn’t explain what the pictures were showing, for instance inside where the coffee pods go there is another small white strainer type compartment but as the cofee pod wouldn’t go in with this in place, I removed it but I still don’t know what it is for ???
