The product I bought was a gaming chair. My son was very happy with it. We had issues having not read the instructions through fully, and customer support were very helpful all the way until we were satisfied.

My old gaming / office chair had been dying for some time. The faux leather stuff was pretty much all peeled off, it clanked and last week one of the wheels shattered. So it needed replaced! This chair popped up on a search with a discount and I had a bunch of vouchers so took a chance on it.

Contrary to many of the comments on here, I found assembly to be fairly straightforward and took me almost exactly one hour including empyting the box out. Instructions recommend two people and it would likely help at one or two points, but I did it by myself.

Once assembled I found it quite comfy, though with a couple of small issues:

    – The chair reclines back a long way, but I think past a certain point it’s unstable. This is near-horizontal though, so not a position I’m ever likely to use!

    – The lumbar support and cushion are great, but tend to move aroud a little too easily. The neck cushion in particular needs to be repositioned every time I lean forward or get up. Short of gluing it in place, I’m not sure how this could be improved, so it’s a minor thing but still an annoyance.

    – The handles are slightly different heights. With them both at maximum or minimum height, the left one is about half an inch higher than the right and I can’t figure out why! They”re both screwed securely and flat into the chair seat, the handles are screwed identically into the arms themselves. This, again, is a minor issue that I really only notice when I’m trying to slide the chair under my desk and one arm catches whereas the other doesn’t.

It’s a wide chair, wider than my previous one, but I’m a fairly skinny 50 year old weighting under 80kg so I could get away with a “teen / young adult” chair if I wanted (and have for the last 5-6 years).

As it stands, assuming nothing major goes wrong then I can’t complain at this price. It’s not perfect which is why I’ve not gone the 5* route, but it’s certainly good enough.

It seems to be very comfortable to sit in. At least, that is my first impression. However, I have yet to sit in it for a long period of time. The materials seem to be of good quality but, again it’s early days. The main problem is the instructions. The diagrams can be a little bit vague. The written instructions are often not sufficient enough and they look as though they have been badly translated from their original language. As I had seen in other reviews, for some of the stages of the build, a second pair of hands is helpful.

    TL;DR Brilliant chair. Awful instructions.

Very comfortable with the inclusion of lumbar and neck supports as well as lots of adjustments in arms, height and recline. Included leg rest only adds to what’s a perfectly solid unit (subject to your own build quality of course!)

Only downside is the instructions are clearly for a generic chair design passed across all models – not for the SPECIFIC models themselves – which can make following them akin to playing operation while wearing a blindfold. As always though some bloke on YouTube had made a tutorial and saved the day.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt took me 2 hours to put it together. All bits were there, instructions very easy to follow, the base takes the longest to assemble & it can be a bit fiddly to screw in the bits on your own.
The seat reclines fully flat so I’m guessing you could have a little snooze on it.
It’s comfortable, height adjustable, the arms move to different heights/angles aswell.
If it’s for an upstairs room, assemble it upstairs as it’s really heavy when it’s done.
    Overall, a decent chair

EDIT..footrestit goes on upside down so it looks like the leather bit is facing the floor, it flips over so the leather bit is for your feet to rest on! Genius idea!

5.0 out of 5 stars Decent chai
