Excellent value
My son is obsessed with cleaning his ears so I bought him this as a bit of fun. Excellent value so easy to set up and use and he’s now safely cleaning his ears out!!
Good useful ear camera
Out of the box, this does feel a little light and low quality. However, the tip is metal (covered in a silicone sleeve) which means it doens’t bend out of shape or break like plastic alternatives.
I wasn’t keen on the app – it needs location services turned on for it to work and I don’t know why this should be necessary. Note that it won’t work with any other apps for similar cleaners. Once it was all set up I haven’t had any issues getting it to connect.
A full charge doesn’t last an amazingly long time but enough for 3-4 uses.
There’s something a little ‘off’ about the distance or angle of the camera, light and tip – it can be quite difficult to visualise whatever you’re wanting to look at. However, the quality of the image is good. Overall, a handy little otoscope.
My boy has complained about not hearing well and have tried Hopi candle things half a dozen times along with ear drops. Well no wonder he was having trouble hearing. Apologies for the gross/satisfying pic but this “rock” came out. Really impressed with quality of picture and build for the money. Deffinately worth it.
