I lost two Manuka bushes last winter due to frost killing them so this year I am taking no chances! Manuka bushes are quite thin and flimsy but they seem to bear the weight of these covers but I have also pinned the covers against the wood behind the bushes in case there is a breeze
I am pleased with their quality and my purchase. I see some complaints about the covers not being the size they though they would be . be careful to select the right box. These are easily 180 or 6feet tall!
Who knew trees needed a blanket? Not me…. but apparently they do….
Massive pain to put on butnthats because you’re trying to wrap a tree (quite tall and has branches) not so much the product that appears to be doing a fine job covering the tree.
So impressed . The bags are well made , good zips and drawstrings. The first I have found to enclose our olive trees and the pots . Incredibly easy to use . They were beautifully packed into a zip lock bag which will be great for storing them . I think they will last for years and a great investment for the garden . Have just ordered 2 more . Oh and they also look tidy and good . Don’t usually leave reviews but these are perfect .
Bought the covers for my olive and bay trees. Hoping that the covers will preserve these tree over the winter.
The zip really helps to get the cover around the trees and was easy to close up. Picture taken after 1 st 24 hours use and so far have survived the heavy winds. The toggle to close up the covers at the base will hopefully stop them blowing off.
