Cute
Easy to use and blows up balloons in no time well worth every penny when you have over 100 balloons to blow up. Easy and light to carry around. Very satisfied
Why haven’t I bought one of these before?
I love balloons for celebrations and with Mother’s Day and my mom’s birthday all rolled into one this year I decided to invest in one of these.
Last year for my dad’s 80th we did a balloon arch and we thought it would be more cost effective to just use the manual pump that came with the kit. What a mistake. I could only manage a few myself and my boyfriend did the rest – probably 50 balloons in total – whilst I constructed the arch. It took hours – stupid us not investing then, and as we did the arch the night before it was too late to order one of these to help out.
This year I wasn’t making the same mistake so I ordered this one and what a difference. Though not as many balloons this year, each took seconds to inflate and a tiring job that could have taken a good couple of hours was completed in twenty minutes.
Things to be aware of –
(1) the power lead is actually stored in a little compartment with a door so you won’t find a separate lead in the box
(2) the switch allows two levels of puff but they are both strong and balloons will inflate very quickly. Just be aware if blowing up the smaller size as they will blow up much quicker than you expect and pop
(3) you need to hold the neck of the balloon very tightly otherwise they will blow off
(4) the air blows through both nozzles – you don’t need to use both at the same time but if you only use one the cap on the other will blow off and fly across the room if you don’t remove it because the caps don’t screw in place
(5) there are screw on nozzle extenders for smaller necks in balloons – I used these to blow up foil balloons – it works a treat for those.
(6) once the switch is in on position at your chosen strength to start air blowing just hold the neck over the nozzle and push down.
An invaluable piece of kit if you love to add balloons to celebrations for fun or even if you are just doing one balloon arch. If this one ever broke down I’d replace straight away to make sure I am always prepared.
Thank you for a fab produc
Balloon pump
Easy to use, performs well inflating balloons easily
Small size make easy transportation for party or celebrations
No heat noticed while using but did allow periods of rest when using as we made Balloon trees.
Having a party?
We used this to inflate 90-odd balloons for a balloon arch – it took a fraction of the time than using a hand pump or blowing the items.
I would have been severely knackered if I had had to blow 90 of them, not to mention having a funny taste in my mouth.
Bright pink, which might be a bit odd if you are used to darker coloured ones, but the pinkness means its easy to locate.
Very happy with this.
This is a great pump
This is a great pump, beats making myself dizzy blowing up lots of balloons for almost every special occasion and I don’t have the nasty taste of the rubber in my mouth, does get quite warm though so best to cut off the power to it and have a brew while it cools down.
Perfect does the job
Used this for a baby shower balloon display, it’s perfect and saved so much time. They blow up so quick, so once I got use to it, it didn’t take very long at all to blow all balloons up. Definitely worth investing in if you want to save lots of time
Worth getting if you are doing big decoratio
This is an excellent product to use when blowing up a lot of balloons. This is what I used to make the balloon arch. This blower has two modes: regulated and continuous. While the controlled blowing mode only allows air to exit both valves when the yellow valve is pushed downward, the continuous blowing mode will continuously blow air out of both nozzles until it is turned off.
It is priced reasonably.
Excellent produc
This is a great product when your inflating loads of balloons. I used this when I was creating a balloon arch, it was a bit tricky to use at first, however I managed to get the hang of it. It’s really fast and quick so you have to make sure you don’t overinflate the balloons. Once you’ve used it a few times, it becomes easier to use.
Good value for money
This is must have for blowing the balloons especially if you don’t have strong lungs. It is much quicker and efficient than hand pump and really good value for money
Good balloon pump
I ordered a balloon arch and ordered this alongside to help pump up balloons. I didn’t fancy blowing up circa 50 balloons manually.
The pump works well however the caps are loose so do need taking off before using otherwise you might take your eye out.
The pump puts out a strong air flow so would recommend to be careful and really be on guard to remove the balloon or switch off the pump as soon as you are at the required level.
Would certainly recommend if you are looking to blow up a large number of balloons and the product isnt of such a size that its difficult to just store away.
Comes recommended.
Fast electric air balloon pump
If you regularly have parties for adults or kids, and always have balloons than this electric air ballon pump can save time and effort.
This electric balloon pump is mains powered, so no batteries to change or charge. The mains plug and cable is stored within the pump under a hatch on the side.
The main switch has two positions, one is for permanently inflation, and the second for switched operation via a push switched nozzle. In either mode air is blasted out of both nozzles at the same time. I found it best to only use the switched nozzle and only blow-up one balloon at a time. It is very fast and quite difficult to control the pressure in two ballons at the same time, especially as there is a slight difference in pressure between the two nozzles. I found it worked best with regular long and round ballons, I did try some very thin long balloons but the pump didn’t have enough pressure to blow these up.
The two tying tools are hopeless, I found tying the balloons easier just using my fingers.
Overall, this is a good tool for blowing up a larger number of balloons.
I hope you find my review helpful.
Brought this up to a friends house to help with a balloon arch consisting over 70+ balloons and I think we all figuratively (and literally) blew a sigh of relief at how easy this made the whole job!
There are two modes with this; continuous and controlled blowing. The continuous blowing mode will continue to blow air out of both nozzles until it is switched off, whereas the controlled blowing will blow air out both valves only when pushing the yellow valve downwards.
Positives
– Strong air flow ensures balloons blow up quickly.
– The plug and cable can be stored away easily in the side of this.
– There are two nozzles to make quick work of blowing up balloons if you have a helper!
– Two dust caps are included to ensure the internals are well protected if stored in dusty areas like a garage
– Two balloon tying tools are included which will certainly help those that struggle to tie knots or have mobility difficulty with their fingers.
Negatives
– There is no way to control the air flow and the default air flow is very strong. It is, however, simple enough to let air out to the desired inflation if you do overinflate!
– The dust caps should really screw on as if you leave one of these on and attempt to inflate using the other nozzle it will inevitably go flying off at some speed. It did add a bit of hilarity to blowing up balloons but it is something to watch out for especially if you have curious young kids.
Conclusion
This is an absolute must have if you’re blowing up lots of balloons. At 11.98 (at the time of this review) this is brilliant value for money and I’d honestly pay more for it just at the convenience. 1 star deducted for some of the unfortunate design oversights but don’t let that put you off, this is certainly an impressive bit of kit.
Surprisingly strong, so remove the caps!
This electric balloon pump does it all, but can be a shock!
It comes in a cardboard box and has a mains lead tucked in to a hatch in the side. It also comes with two tools to help you knot your balloons.
The machine is brightly coloured and powerful, so I was very shocked when I first turned it on and forgot to remove the caps, so they immediately flew across the room when I turned it on!
It has two nozzles for pumping balloons and comes with attachments for smaller balloons.
It has two modes – the first is continuous pumping where it will just keep on blowing so you can continuously inflate two at a time.
The second is on demand and only allows one of the nozzles to pump, and it begins pumping when you apply pressure to the nozzle, and stops again when you lift it away again.
The instructions for the tying tool are not in the included instructions, and are also unclear on the product description, so I would recommend watching a youtube video to learn how to do it.
Note that this is only intended to inflate balloons, and it can do this very well and quickly, but it is not suitable for inflating tyres or balls!
Functions perfectly but instructions are carelessly printed and accessories wrongly 3d printed
This powerful yet lightweight ballon pump functions perfectly well and fast. Can pump two ballons at the same time with controlled bursts or continuous. Continuous mode is awkward and annoying because of the jet level noise and difficulty getting the ballon on while it’s still blowing. But controlled bursts are great.
Word of warning, though. Do not use the plastic covers over the air spouts as they can pop off with high velocity. Throw the plastic covers away.
The instructions carelessly stated that “-” is for controlled bursts and “=” is for continuous. It’s the other way around.
Also, the accessories for ballon tying are 3d printed wrong. Another careless error. Just tie the balloon with your fingers in the conventional way.
Otherwise, the balloon pump really does a great job of getting lots of balloons blown in quick time.
Small and nice but very powerful
It’s a good product that we got great help with swelling of the 300 balloons from the decorative arch and other arrangements of our son’s party.
The quick blowing system is very useful and makes the work a lot easier. It has an extremely high flow rate (taking into account that it is not big at all, but blowing hard) I recommend using maximum 1 minute continuously and 2 minutes breaks. The engine, being powerful, gets very hot and it’s possible to break, so pay attention to long periods of use because it heats up quite quickly. Leaving aside this aspect, it is a pump that deserves its money without any doubt.
Great ballon pump, but instructions wrong.
I think this will come in handy for inflating balloons when you have lots to do, like for a balloon arch. It works well, though is fairly noisy, and has useful attachments for different balloon sizes. The plug being stored inside the casing out of the way is very nice. However, the instructions have the two functions back to front – It says setting 1 is press to operate and setting 2 is continuous, but on the pump I received it was the other way around. Obviously it doesn’t affect the functioning, but it’s something to be aware of.
Superb for lots of balloons!
We did a over a 100 balloons for a party recently and decided never again would we do it without a balloon inflator.
This inflator is fantastic, really, really fantastic and would have made very light work of 100 balloons.
It couldn’t be more simple and effective: There are two modes of operation, continous air from the nozzle on the left or air on demand when pressing down the nozzle on the right(which is the only one I imagine anyone would use for balloons). There are two nozzle sizes which seem right for most balloons I’ve ever come across.
The speed is just right I think, not too fast to run out of control but just enough to get the job done quickly.
The instructions say to not let the pump run for more than two hours continously – two hours, I can’t imagine how many balloons you could do in that time!
This is a well made, does the job perfectly, type of thing.
