FAKBKE 3 Pack Elastic Nylon Strap Compatible with Fitbit

 

I’m trying to find a colour matching strap for my blue Xiaomi Mi Watch (no, these don’t quite fit). I’ve been using a braided elastic strap for a while, but the colour is a little muted compare to the watch case.

These vividly-coloured Fitbit straps popped up for review, so I had a look.

Note that the listing clearly states ‘Only compatible with Fitbit…’, but I’d seen suggestions that these Fitbit watches are compatible with 22mm straps, so I took a gamble on these being close enough that minimal modification would allow a fit on standard 22mm watch lugs.

The listing IS correct; as Fitbit-specific straps, these have 22.75mm lugs, so won’t fit anything under 23mm width without subtle modification (e.g. filing down that extra millimeter). I add this information to remove any doubt regarding compatibility for other buyers.

I do intend to file these down slightly, as they are decent straps and I’d like to use them with other watches.

To avoid confusion I’ve chosen not to include a photo of my Mi Watch showing the colour match, but I have included a comparison with the 22mm braided strap I have fitted to it. As you can see, the colour is much more vivid on these FAKBKE straps.

I do prefer the more uniform look of the braided ones, but both types are soft and elastic, so comfortable on the wrist. These elastic straps are great for heart rate tracking, as they keep the watch firmly against your wrist without being overly tight.

The pins provided are the ‘tool free’ kind, with tiny ‘handles’ for an easy fit.

A spare pin is kindly provided for each strap in the set, for three spare pins total. This is a good thing, because one of my pins was missing its little handle. With that said, they appear to be decent quality pins.

A pleasing attention to detail on these is the use of perfectly colour-matched threads on each of the coloured straps.
