With the rise in thefts of keyless entry cars I was keen to find a way to secure keys at home.
The ouches are great, but I confess to being a bit lazy and forgetting to use them.
This box is perfect for me. I leave it on the kitchen table and chuck keys in at the end of the day. It is big enough for 4 keys.
My husband has tested that it works as a faraday cage and it is great.
It’s sad that these are necessary, but well worth the investment.
Looks like the pictures and works well. Like that it doesn’t have a clip to close. With a large hand you can open with one hand, less so with smaller hand.
Most importantly I’ve tested it and the car doesn’t find the key fobs in the box. Not too big and not too small, it fits both key fobs with attached bundle of house keys.
I’m really please with this Faraday signal blocker box, which is designed to give protection for keys and devices. It’s very slightly too small to put my phone in – I have one of the smallest standard phones on the market and it won’t lie flat on the base ( it will fit wedged in slightly though, and the lid still closes). It’s primarily for car keys so people can’t access them using modern technology, enabling them to make off with your car from your own driveway.
This doesn’t just do the job, its also a good looking product that looks fab sitting on a shelf ( out of reach of the front door)! in the hallway. It’s good to get into the habit of putting them in the same place every night and if it adds a layer of RFIS protection why ever would you not put them in her? Also happy with the much which is again designed for car keys as opposed to a phone etc. You could use it for credit cards I guess.
All in all I’m happy with this product, I may not ever need it, but you are paying, I guess, for peace of mind.
Not just a signal blocker which is a very good idea these days but somewhere to keep your keys or at least that’s the idea for a husband who is forever searching for his keys! Nice little blocker key case included if you tend to keep your main key set in your handbag.
Box is very sturday with a nice finish, well worth the money
Small enough to have on the side without it being an eye sore but large enough for multiple sets of keys. I really appreciated the pouch addition as this will keep my dads keys protected when hes at work with his car parked outside. Very nice material quality and colours.

Recently with new technology a lot of cars have been stolen, so this will hopefully stop that from happening to us.
My dad got a new car and because he is very security concerned and with his car key it’s one of those ones where you just need the key to be close enough to the car to open and start it.
The car is parked on the drive close to the keys.
Now we have this ~ he comes home and places the keys straight in the box on the shelf in passage. The additional key fob wallet they give you does work because we have obviously tried them out.
The other car is also one where you don’t need a key to open it.
It just has to be in range, so the signal lets you open the car with your hand on the door handle but with the key fob in the pouch no signal is being allowed so the car will not open. Its the only way I could think of to test the fact.
With the box we placed her phone inside and I tried to ring it. On my phone it was as if there phone was switched off, It went right to answer the phone. That’s how I tested both items anyways.
But these have now given them and myself some peace of mind but also that he knows where her keys phone and wallet are if we need them.
(another good idea I had if you want to keep the kids off their phones. Is to just place them in the box. Because it cuts all the signal off they can try ring it and won’t get a answer lol)
