Pregnancy & piles

Haemorrhoids during pregnancy*

Piles affects up to 35% of expectant mothers, both during pregnancy and after birth. This is due to pressure from your womb as the baby grows and hormones causing the walls of your blood vessels to relax and swell. Constipation is common in pregnancy, and straining can also cause haemorrhoids.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI recently tried the Germoloids Haemorrhoid Treatment & Piles Treatment Suppositories, and I must say they were quite effective in providing relief. However, there was one downside that I found a bit inconvenient. These suppositories were too soft, making them difficult to apply without refrigerating them first. This extra step added some inconvenience to the process. Despite that, once chilled, they did their job well in alleviating discomfort. Overall, a good product if you don’t mind the need for refrigeration.
