Good value and good products
Always buy these gels from Amazon as they are so much cheaper. I buy these on a regular basis as i know they will not upset my stomach before a race. Definately recommend

a bit runny to use on the move! I know that’s the point & why I bought them in the 1st place as they’re easier to drink than the normal thicker gels … you just have to be be a bit careful is all

These are great and give you a burst of energy to get you going at the start of a run and part way through when you start to feel the exhaustion creeping in. Have tried many others but find these by far the most effective. The only issue is the very random changing pricing. When at the lower price they are great but not when they shoot up to three times as much. Fix that and it would be certainly 5*’s all round.
It tastes sort of ok...
I have eating processed food so naturally I don’t really consume this sort of things usually.
However, I needed something to keep me fuelled up during my long runs so decided to try these out.
Previously I have tired the SIS gels but those tasted disgusting and ended up only using one of the gels. I probably would prefer eating grass along my running route than the SIS gels.
These High5 ones, although they are not nice, are more palatable. It actually does taste as though they might be made using at least some natural ingredients.
The best energy gel by far!
These are by far and away the best energy gels I have had. They are not as thick as some of the others, and they taste actually very nice. The orange tastes like capri sun, and the tropical tastes like umbongo. Good slow release energy, especially when taken with some water!! Initially just used them for distance running, but have also started using them before a swim!!
Better than most.
Very easy to consume as a lot thinner in consistency compared to other gels, almost like drinking water. Only frustration is how it is not easy to open when on a run and I ended up spilling it which leads to having sticky hands!

I’ve always used high 5 gels & liked them so thought id try these.
They seem to work as good as the rest but i dont like the texture or flavour, they are also quite sticky & its near impossible not to get some on your fingers when running.
But obviously taste/texture are subjective so someone else might love these. I will be sticking to their normal orange/citrus gels from now on.
