Printe
Excellent for the price. Easy set up, 3 months free ink which the printer automatically orders when it’s running low. AI coming to life. Fast clear printing and very quiet. All in all worth the money
Have to be by it to pri
It’s a good printer only issues were that the set up took long but it’s due to me I guess. But anytime I printed papers I need to press continue button to make it print the rest of the sheets not sure why tho. But it does the job
Not tried to print photos on it yet, but it prints documents ok. Takes a good amount of time to get it to link up to your computer/laptop though (especially if you have a Windows system older than Windows 10), but it is possible by downloading software from the HP site – just annoyingly time consuming and irritating. There were a good few swear words shouted whilst I was connecting my Windows 7 laptop to it, but I eventually got my head around it and succeeded. It could be made a whole lot easier though I’m sure. This is it’s only downside up to now.
Ok
It was a bit fiddley to set up. I threshing to see that HP has a whole page of “try this fixes” when it doesn’t work first time. Advantage is that it runs through the router even though my desk top does not have WiFi and that we can print from the lap top when in range. Slower than my previous HP printer and less quick to use different features.
Straightforward Basic Printe
Easy to use, good wi-fi connection, unlike my old printer.
I did not realise that there is no option to automatically print double-sided. It is a bit of a pain to do it manually if you are doing a large number of prints, but other than that, I have no complaints
Cheap and cheerful!
It a very basic printer and copier but it does it job, no more no less. Being a HP it is well build even with its low price. The display is basic but easy to understand. Using the app its so easy to setup and just turns on and works when you need it. Gone through about 2 sets of ink so far and its not missed a beat. Great little printer.
Prefec
Well I needed a new printer, and the print quality is good can be a little slow to print out, you will get 3 months free ink sent out to you so that’s even better. Features of it are great and easy to use and set up. The weight of it is little,
If you looking for a printer this is a great one
Good for limited home usage.
This printer does the job adequately. I’m not sure about the top feed paper tray, but am trying to ignore my preference for a flat pull out tray, as I try to get used to it. It was easy to set up and must have been, as I managed to do it myself and I am no technical genious by any means. But so far it has been more than useful, for my very limited printing usage at home. Not for heavy usage I fear.
I use this printer for the printing and scanning of home and family documents it is ideal for my use .
However the inks do not lat very long and in comparison to other printer /scanners that I have had are very expensive.
It was easy to set up and the print quality is good scanning is very quick overall a great cheaper end product for home use however ink prices need to come down.
Prints well, great value
We needed a simple copier and this fitted the bill. Small and lightweight, it prints well and the cartridges don’t cost the earth. It came with 3 month’s worth of cartridges so was very good value. Can be connected to laptop or mobile and is wifi enabled so it can be used as a printer. Good value.
The printer was super easy to set up (I’m a tech phobe) if I can do it anyone can! The app takes you through it step by step with pictures. I never say things are easy either!
The printers connectivity is good, and it was easy to print with good clear printing. For occasional printing it’s more than sufficient and amazing price! The scanner is easy to work to.
The hardest point was trying to print a document from my phone- but I worked it out in about 2 minutes. So really not complex.
Would definitely recommend
I’m not tech savvy, however the instruction manual made it look easy enough, however for some reason although on set up it detected the printer, it would not connect to the router. I therefore went the ‘direct printer’s option and it worked. Days later I wanted to print again and my tablet and phone picked up the printer automatically? Don’t know why, but pleased, as it’s compact, quiet and quick enough for my needs for both printing and scanning with clear print quality both in B&W and colour.
photo copier H P
i would like to reduce the size down to 1.12th of the printing not yet discovered how to do this, quite frustrating, not so easy to use, all the basics are there like switch on press a button to print, but i was hoping to be able to reduce the size of stuff i’m printing which is all i bought it fo
First off, seems a very solid home printer. No issues with the device itself. Prints a bit slowly, but the prints are of good quality, fine for at home. Document feeder works fine. Should make my life a lot better!
That being said, I am so far from impressed it was delivered not just without a usb to print cable, but with the actual port covered with a sticker suggesting WiFi. Yes, HP, I know you want to harvest my data, but no HP, I will not let you. Be assured you can just use this printer wired without WiFi connection at all. In fact I was extremely pleased that the entire setup process was automated and took me under 5 minutes. I’m a Linux user and am used to printer setup being a right pain in the behind but this was smooth as butter. The printer initialisation time is very short as well, so we’ll just turn it on and off as needed instead of keeping it powered on. It has a bit of an annoying LED complaining about not having WiFi access, but if you can turn it on and off this quickly not even that is an issue. Perfect printer for those of us who prefer our hardware offline and privacy friendly, HPs pushiness notwithstanding.
Product is good
As an older user new to the UK found it difficult to connect to the WiFi, fortunately my Granddaughter fixed it.
I use the Printer to make copies of Agreements etc as I find them easier to read than searching my
Mobile phone.
Good quality pri
This printer is light weight.
Good clear print. Only downside is the holder for the ink seems flimsy but adequate.
Instruction book not easy to follow. Once the Instructions were printed out . It was easier.
HP PRINTER
BOUGHT FOR LIGHT HOME USE HARD TO SET UP SMART APP NEXT TO USELESS SAID IT CAN BE USED ANYWHERE BUT IT WILL NOT CONTENT TO PHONE GOOD JOB ONLY USEING AT HOME SILL A BIT OFF A LETT DOWN HAVING TO PUT EVERYTHING ON MY POONE TAKE IT HOME LOAD IT TRAISFER TO LAP THEN PRINT
Stunning Value for Money
I bought this with the express purpose of buying the cheapest printer I could just to print the occasional item. All I can say is it does the job I need, does it well and at a great price. Please note this is not a Workhorse its perfect for light work.
NOT EASY TO SET UP
I BROUGHT THIS PRINTER TO REPLACE MY OLD HP PRINTER, WHICH I HAD FOR OVER 20 YRS.
I DON’T LIKE THE DISPLAY ON THE PRINTER, SO SMALL, & NOTHING TO SAY WHICH BUTTON TO PRESS, I CAN’T SEE WHERE IT SAYS COPY & SCAN, YOU HAVE TO DO THAT IN THE HP SECTION ON YOUR COMPUTER, IT DOESN’T SCAN, CAN’T FIND WHERE IT SAYS WHATS PRINTING.
THE MANUAL IS RUBBISH, NO HELP AT ALL.
SETTING IT UP WAS A NIGHTMARE, I USUALLY HAVE A WIRELESS SETTING, SO THAT PART DIDN’T WORK, SO IN THE END, I HAD TO GET INTOUCH WITH MY IT GUY, WHO LIVES IN WALES, WHO DID IT REMOTELY, YOU NEED A SMART PHONE TO S, ET UP, EVEN HE SAID IT WAS NOT GOOD SETTING UP. THE INK CARTRIDGES YOU GET WITH IT, EVEN THOUGH THEY SHOW AS FULL , ONLY PRINTED A SMALL AMOUNT OF PRINTED SHEETS, STOPPED WORKING, SO GOOD JOB I ORDERED EXTRA CARTRIDGES. SO THE JURY IS OUT ON THIS PRINTER, SEE IF IT LASTS LONGER, THAN MY OLD PRINTER.
HP Android Mobile Compatible Printe
Arrived quickly. Set up relatively easy enough. I’m 70 year old retired Admin so have some IT knowledge.
Wanted it to print boarding passes and LPA forms.
So occasional use. Printed just fine. I’m concerned after reading reviews re subscription for ink, apparently printer will stop working if I don’t subscribe. ? The subscription is for pages not ink.
Anyway, I’ll update review once I understand exactly what happens if I don’t subscribe.
HP Deskjet Printer 2810eE
This was so easy to set up once I used the correct browser but full instructions are included anyway.
It only takes two inks which saves on costs of replacement too. So far so good can recommend for the price.
Basic printer that does the job
Happy with this printer. I recently retired and have all my heavy duty office equipment to a local charity. But, I still wanted a basic all in one small printer. This one fitted the bill. Easy and straightforward to set up. Prints well and fast enough for the minimal printing I now do. I have had an HP Ink account for many years and it was simple to swap the printers over. I was impressed that HP sent out spare cartridges straight away. All in all, highly recommended.
Good value and ideal for low volume users
Quite easy to connect to WiFi and works relatively well with Android devices including my Chromebook which my old one didn’t. Not so easy to get it to print from my pc though and it doesn’t like document formats other than pdf so far. I don’t have complicated printing requirements and have an IT background so I’m happy with it for the money, I don’t think it’s plug and play though – if you aren’t really confident with tech set up you might struggle. Can’t be bothered to spend too long faffing with it tbh to see if it can do other formats. Subscription ink seems ok so far. Previous printer was costing price of this one in replacement cartridges for inferior quality prints (it was ancient, though).
Good, does the job
The print/scan quality is good and it’s a decent price. Some people have had trouble setting it up, but I had it set up pretty quickly with no issues. And no, I’m certainly not an IT expert! Also, I personally will not be setting up the smart ink delivery thing, I’ll just buy my own as and when.
This is fab little printer for the price. I only wanted one for occasional use. Very easy to operate and does exactly what it says on the tin.. only downside DOWNSIDE.. is The inks are expensive!..nearly as much as the printer itself cost for the full set!..but as it’s not something I will have to be purchasing on a regular basis, I took this into account when buying.
