My only complaint is about the fan. It turns on at any time and is very nosy even if you are just browsing the internet. Sometimes is quite annoying
Apart from that, it has a beautiful appearance, the 2-in-1 experience is very good and the laptop it’s fast.
I’m satisfied.
Amazon inexplicably had these for 1095 for the Core i7 / 512GB SSD / 16GB / OLED model rather than the 1599 they normally list for so I bought it immediately. It would be a decent laptop for RRP but at that price it’s amazing.
The screen is gorgeous, and while it does reduce battery life vs the LCD option it’s still 8 hours or so. The machine is very responsive, leaving my much larger XPS15 with a 45W quad core 6th gen i7 in the dust, the keyboard is great, and you even get the pen and a nice folio case with it.
After years of Dell machines (private and work) with highly variable build and finish it is also very well put together. My only complaints are that the speakers are a bit quiet (but sound good), and some of the keys for slashes etc are a bit weird.
I got this laptop to replace my current desktop/iPad situation and it has absolutely delivered. The touchscreen and 360 transition is seamless and it boots up within seconds – a drastic improvement on my previous situation! It’s neat and compact, the quality of the build is fantastic. It came with a case and a pen for the touchscreen which was an unexpected bonus.
The click pad is responsive but less so than I would have expected. But that is literally my only complaint about this laptop, everything else is perfect.
This is the first laptop I have ever tried that converts to a tablet.
I have to say it’s amazing.
I’ve compared it to both the LG Gram 2020 and the Apple Air M1 2020.
It’s faster than the Gram and I would say slightly faster than the Air.
Both of those laptops are also superb.
I bought the Apple about a month agoit’s brilliant and my first Apple.
I would say basically though that it’s for different things. For me Apple for play and this for work/play.
So .
Pros
Really fast
Great screen
Good camera for Zoom sessions
Easy to change to tablet- this is amazing
Comes with pen
Fast to charge
Charge lasts a long time about 18 hours for me before I decided to recharge
The tablet is great for marking work electronically
Cons
Only one! I’m not a huge fan of the way the keyboard is lit. It has a blueish light which took me time to get used to.
Ease of use?
I used Microsoft Authenticator App to help set up made putting windows etc on a breeze.
The set up is guided by Cortana and it’s really easy.
Out of the three new laptops I have and also comparing with my work HP this is the best overall.
It does it all. Laptop to tablet- easy to use windows- really fast- does look sleek in silver metal.
Only other way to really compare may be weightbut it’s not heavy.
Amazing machine!
