Fiddly
Looks good, but it was a fiddle-and-a-half to adjust the thing to the correct size, requiring three attempts. Some sort of tape measure/conversion to number of links to remove would have been useful. The clasp is a nightmare, however, and there’s nothing to be done about it: it’s small, it flips over at the slightest attempt to lift it and, short version, I require assistance from The Other Half to remove it.
I can’t comment on the pain relief features, as I’ve only just got it on (after a half-hour of multiple re-sizing experiments!). Will amend this review should anything usefully happen (I’m not expecting it will: call me a sceptic!)
Seems to work!
Early days yet, but the pain and swelling from arthritis in my thumb joint is definitely easier.
I like the way it looks and it’s comfortable to wear.
I bought the mens bracelet as I preferred the styling, but it was much too big for me. However, it was easy to alter, with all the tools needed to do the job provided.
All in all I’m very pleased, it’s good quality and is very reasonably priced.
Very nice design and well made.
This bracelet helped me with my pain in my wrists and fingers which had got worse the last couple of months. Literally within a few hours the pain had subsided, I couldn’t believe how quickly it had worked. Unfortunetly after 4 or 5 weeks I had to remove it as it had started to irritate my skin under it. My skin started to itch around the bracelet a lot. So I had to remove it. So one or more of the metals must have given me the reaction. Shame cos it did help a lot, now the pain has returned. Will try to get one with less of a mixture of metals next. But it was very good for a few weeks.
Have Not Had Medical Results Yet So Cant Rate effectively
Although I am unable to review the medical effects of the bracelet yet, I can review the product and compared to previous others that I have bought this is by far the best. In that I finally was supplied with all the “tools” to remove links, insert the pins completely to make the wearing comfortable. Others just recommended a hammer to make the pins flush. This has more of a top end feel about it and the packaging box it arrived in was impressive. Its quite a handsome bracelet as well.
Clip not grea
Seems to work this was the third one I’ve bought That’s because the clasp becomes loose after a year of wearing all the time I don’t take it off so I’m not taking it off and on as this would probably loosen the clasp Will I buy another I’m not sure, can I find one better? Is the price cheap for a years wear?
Nice Strong Bracele
I’ve just had the bracelet adjusted to my size, & only just started wearing it. Feel very comfortable on. It’s a little heavy but I don’t mind that. I find it tricky to open & close it unfortunately. It’s very strong, but as for pain relief I don’t think I’ve worn it long enough to benefit. I don’t wear it in the shower. I Love my bracelet & my partner thinks it looks great on me. Will recommend to anyone & it’s a great price.
Looks good
A bit difficult to put on and take off but my husband is finding it easier with wear. No idea whether it has help with his rheumatoid arthritis but it looks good!
Looks really good
This bracelet arrived on time and was beautifully packaged. It had a link remover in the box which was good because I had to take two links out but it took a bit of getting used to but managed it in the end. My husband likes it and he hasn’t mentioned his arthritis since he started wearing it so I assume it’s working. He wears it all the time. Would buy again.
It shouldn’t work but it does!
I know that there is absolutely no scientific evidence regarding copper bands and magnets for reducing joint pain as you get older. I’ve seen papers written by eminent Doctors and Consultants saying they are a waste of time and money. All I can add to the debate is that mine works and my joint pain is much reduced. If I leave the bracelet off for a day the old aches start to creep back again. Unfortunately I have to give it a low mark for being easy to remove because it isn’t! The locking clip closes so tightly it took me ages to free the clip. I ended up using a micro screwdriver from my watch repair kit. If you do have to use a similar device just remember that underneath the bracelet is your skin!!! Besides that I happily recommend!
I can finally sleep
I’m far from nave but bought this as a last resort , I was laying awake at night with the most annoying dull pain through my hands and fingers , arthritis is hereditary in my family so it’s inevitable I’ll get it , I’m a plumber , tiler and central heating engineer so using my hands constantly , I’m not sure if it’s psychological but since the day I started wearing this bracelet the pain has disappeared, sometimes I feel discomfort in the opposite hand but when I swap the bracelet to that hand the pain goes , highly recommend , it really has changed my life
3rd one
This is the third of these I have had over some years. Due to my job they get quite a bashing but are robust & do still last several years, joint clips breaking has happened twice & I can’t get my head around using the link removal & repair tool (it’s easier just to buy a new one!) Biggest advantage of these is I don’t end up with green arms!
Easy to adjust for a comfortable fi
Great that this comes with the tool to adjust the size of the bracelet (handy to keep for adjusting watches etc. in future)
Having suffered with a back injury for over 40 years, I wasn’t expecting too much from this as have used copper bracelets before (solid type that you bend to fit your wrist) with limited relief which often wore off after a short time.
This is my first use of a linked bracelet and first one with magnets all around.
Have used it for almost a month now (I only wear at night as can’t risk any bracelet getting caught up or wet while I work during the day) and have been very surprised how much it has helped me.
While I still feel a degree of pain, it is less than before and best of all I feel I can move and twist a lot easier than I have for some time. I can only hope this continues.
I would recommend this to anyone and, at the price is definitely a worthwhile purchase which, if nothing else, does look like a nice piece of jewellery.
Definitely noticed an improveme
I’ve been wearing this for two days now and have definitely noticed an improvement in my pain. I bought this having read the reviews extensively. Yes, the clasp can be a bit tricky, but there is a knack to it and it is secure so I don’t feel it is going to fall off. I needed to remove links, which was easy enough with the included tools. However, on first use, one of the thin needles snapped inside one of the links. Took a bit of fiddling to get it out, but it wasn’t too much trouble and there are spares in the toolkit so I had another one to use. Overall, I would buy again.
Good quality bracelet, looks good, but...
The links can be taken out with the kit easily. Packaging very good. Pain relief ummm not anything groundbreaking, maybe. Easy to remove for an elderly person? no. On the one hand its good to have a secure clip, but on the other no good if you can’t get it undone when you live alone.
We’ll made item but only time will tell if it makes any difference.
I like the bracelet very much and am convinced that it actually works – so much so that I ordered a spare! However, the first bracelet I bought in July has fallen off of my wrist several times (once into a toilet!) and the clasp is definitely not as secure as it was originally and does not have the same ‘click’ when snapped into place. Given that the links are removable perhaps the vendor would like to send me some replacement clasps that I can fit myself.
Is this copper or copper plated?
I bought this bracelet because it said 100% copper. It seems well made and heavily lacquered. It is stamped coppa unlike the one on the advert which is stamped copper. I had a bracelet like this before that was given to me but ‘not from this seller’ after scraping off the copper surface it was soft white metal underneath. I hope this one is 100% copper and not copper plated! I jsust gave it three stars for pain relief as it is early days.
Bought because it looked suitable for purpose, i.e. pretty-looking copper bracelet which wasn’t a solid one, i.e. must be links which would be more moveable round the wrist. Item arrived fabulously packaged, complete with a useful tool and instructions for removing some of the links (much-needed as this bracelet would also fit a man). Easy to use after studying it all up! It looks really pretty and in no way “cheap”. I bought because I have severe arthritis and am willing to try absolutely anything which may help even the slightest bit. So I have no idea if it does or doesn’t help that. But willing to wear bracelet all the time. I note that sometimes other folks with copper bracelets say their wrist’s gone black. Mine hasn’t yet! Incidentally, within the packaging were full details of how to contact the manufacturer if you had any problems, which I thought useful to have. All in all, very happy with my purchase.
