I,ve had these harnesses before on my border x lakeland terrier who’s sadly now crossed the rainbow so I knew they were good sturdy harnesses. But I,m particularly pleased with this one for my Jack Russel as it’s made for smaller dogs ensuring a good fit he’s happier with it as it’s easy to slip over his head and as always the handle is a very useful addition especially for smaller dogs
These are by far one of if not the best dog harness you can buy. Easy to fit on the dogs and comfortable for them when using on walks. They also give you good control of your dog without the need for unecessary choke chains.
Beautiful colours. As you can see I bought 2 harnesses. One aquamarine and one pink. Have had a lot of positive feedback. Very sturdy, and fit brilliantly. Easy to get on and off with just one clip on the side. Was a little sceptical about the fact that the ring you attach the lead to is now plastic, and not metal. But I’ve not had any issues, and it does look better with the black trim. The side clip has always been plastic, and that lasted 6 years and still worked perfectly on their old ones!! Only got these new ones as their older version did look tatty after years of use everyday, twice a day!
This is our second buy of this type of Julius K9 harness for our Scotty dog bitch. The fit is very adjustable and easy to get comfy on the dog, far superior to a collar around the neck, for restraint and control. A great harness. We chose pink this time and it contrasts beautifully with her black coat.
The only query is the the old harness had a metal loop to attach the lead and the new one is black resin/plastic, is it as durable and strong enough, time will tell?
Bought this harness for my 9 month cockapoo. So easy to out on compared to other harnesses where he had to step into. My cockapoo is a nervous boy and hates anything going over his head or around his body but he didn’t mind this harness one bit. So easy to just slip over his head and buckle under his belly.
He does pull a bit and although this harness did not stop the pulling (no harness can stop that) it did seem to settle him down a bit and he didn’t have any issues wearing it. Usually he would try to grab at his harness with his teeth but not this one.
I would 100% recommend the Julius K9 harness.
… for 32 I’d expect a metal ring to attach the lead to, not a plastic/nylon one. The harness itself is sturdy enough, so I’ll look at replacing the ring for peace of mind when the dog gets stronger.
Size-wise, at it’s smallest this is perfect for my 3-month Border Collie, so there’s plenty of room for him to grow, making it a worthwhile purchase.
