Just as advertised, we bought as our three cats keep flicking litter out, it is great for capturing those loose bits that come out. It is easy to clean, as you open the pocket out and poor into the bin. We find what comes out is unused so we simply pour back in. It also is very easy to clean through.
Simply place under your litter tray and await any flicking of cat litter, very easy and simple to use. Size of a A6 paper (not thin as) it does hold alot too but try to keep clean otherwise will start smelling if it’s not clean litter in there. Made my life a little simpler and helps keep cat litter going everywhere
Bits of the cat litter do go in the mat but i still get loads come out on the floor which does defeat the object of having the mat unfortunately.
When I saw this product, I thought great idea. So bought it. It came in the box folding, as instruction paper said put on some weight to flatten it. I tried but still bit wavy. I don’t know why they rolled then put in the box? Anyway, otherwise, quite effective to collect cat litter pellets easy to put back the sand. Original idea was using with hooded litter tray. But our new cat refused to enter hooded litter tray. So when he uses litter tray, splashing. I might need 30in x 36in near future. Recommend.
Does what you expect of it really. It’s quite long so there’s a nice amount of runway to catch the bits of litter that get brought out of my tray. It’s easy to shake off / pour litter back into the tray.
This product has saved me from constantly having to hoover, our lazy cats have ignored all other mats or ways to whipe their paws however this is fantastic they like using it and it traps any loose litter left over, its easy to clean and keeps things neat.
At first it lookes like the mat is not picking all of the litter. But I did some rearrangements in litter try placement to make sure that kitten has to step all of his paws when leaving the litter try. And it worked. No litter laying around anymore ^^
And my cat loves the mat. He lies on it and plays.
Probably I would recommend to go for a bigger mat, with the small one it’s harder to make sure that cat steps all paws on it on leaving the tray.
Really helps to catch the cat litter. I just wish it was a bit longer in length. Otherwise this really helps and easy to tip the cat litter back in the tray.
A bit a pain to clean, arrives folded and they suggest you lay it flat with something heavy on top for 24 hours to flatten it out, mines still got a kink weeks later. Really cheap foam material but it does catch most the litter that drops off my kittens paws after she’s finished in the litter box.
On arrival the product was folded. As instructed warmth made it flat again. Cats soon got used to it under foot. A solution of soapy water mixed with a bit of anti bacterial solution refreshed the mat. I also use white distilled vinegar aswell even the scent does not put them off using that area.
