Excellent addition to the racing sets
This rugged set of two vehicles in the LEGO City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Toy pack is another great addition to the racing section of the Lego City range and I love how both match in design.
The set comes in 3 packs with a manual for each model so you can easily build them one at a time. The 6 plus age rating is about right as there are some smaller, more fiddly parts here that also may require adult supervision, though what adult doesn’t want to get involved in helping with a Lego build? It’s not a difficult build over all, though.
The design of each of these is great with the blue black and pink colour scheme working well here. The female driver and mechanic have great expressions and detail on the faces as well.

Perfect for all ages, it is very interesting and entertains the little ones a lot, it has great quality and is certainly a great option for a gift, very good value for money!
Lego car and transporte
LEGO City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Toy 60406 is a great addition to the Lego City range.
Suitable for ages 6+ and comes with clear, coloured instructions. The Lego bags are clearly labelled which makes building easier for younger kids. The car and transporter is much bigger than expected and great for imaginative play.
Goes great with other sets from the Lego City range and creates hours of fun.
Good value se
This set is large for the price. It is an enjoyable build. It took me about 4 hours with breaks working through it slowly. My daughter is 4 and could not really help much but has enjoyed playing with the finished product. The cars are a good size for playing. The set might be hard for a 6 year old to build alone but it is clearly labeled and instructions are clear with the brick colours well visible.
Stylish Lego Truck and race ca
This set caught my eye as I don’t think I’ve seen a truck quite like this. Most Lego trucks tend to one box COE design. But this one, while still COE, has some interesting detailing and looks very much customised. Not only is there in an interesting truck but also a race car and two minifigs.
In the box you have all the bags numbered to aid your build along with a set of instructions for each build including clear and easy to follow instructions. The build is quite interesting and not like other trucks I’ve built. The race car is also 6 stud wide, so proportioned better than older City vehicles and fits in with the older Speed Champions sets. The truck is the star of the show for me as it feels significantly different to anything else I’ve built before. However it is still very much Lego and fits in with new and old City sets.
At the time of writing this is just under 20 and is actually pretty good value. As it has plenty of play value and is a decent build.

This vehicle and transport truck set is amazing value at 19.99 on offer (usually 24.99) considering you get to build the car and the transporter!
The instructions are very clear and make the build easy to construct. Once built, it is strong and sturdy enough to play with without any parts coming off.
Great detail, lots of fu
My daughter and I love Lego and we were excited to get the new LEGO City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck set. In this playset, we was able to build a car and car carrier truck from the 328 pieces. The interactive instructions were very helpful and easy to use. There is a paper manual included as well. In addition, the set comes with two mini figures. The age range for this set is 6 plus and I think this is accurate as it is a fairly simple build without any complicated or fiddly parts.
What is really great about this set is the colour palette and the graphics. They are really stunning with a green and pink colour scheme. The car and truck glide and move nicely along surfaces. The car has an open engine design at the front and lightning stripes on the roof. The spoiler moves up and down so that you can check the exhaust. The cockpit can only fit one person as it is a race car. The car fits securely onto the flatbed of the truck and can be transported around. Overall, I love this set and would recommend.

LEGO City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck Toy. This 328 piece set is suitable for ages 6+ and is a fun set to assemble and play with. As expected from LEGO, the instruction manual was well laid out and easy to follow. I ordered this for my 5 year old son and though he’s too young to assemble it himself he managed to build it with some guidance and reassurance, being over the moon when the kit was fully built.
The kit comes with a Race Car, Carrier Truck with adjustable loading ramp and 2x Figurines. The loading ramp is fun to play with and my son really enjoyed both building and playing with this kit. It’s compatible with the rest of the LEGO City range and would be a great addition to anyone who collects this theme. Overall a great kit which is very giftable, I’d happily recommend it and feel 5 stars is a fair review score.
Let's Get To The Track! Good Looking & Fun "Double Build" Se
I got this set for my 8 year old daughter and we both think it is great. The build is split into two, one for each vehicle, and the instructions are clear with the bricks being the usual excellent Lego quality.
The truck is the more substantial build with a neat pull out and fold down tailgate to allow the car to be carried to the track and back, and we love the superb colour scheme of both vehicles.
Two minifigures are included and she’s very pleased that the racing driver is a female minifigure 🙂
Overall this is a fun and fast set for the Lego City or racing fan. Just watch that rear diffuser when backing off the flatbed 🙂

The truck head and racing car are beautiful, great work in design and break into lego for build and make. It is very sturdy. Good size to hold. Quality is good. Reasonable price 19 for set.

A very nice set at a reasonable price
This this a nice looking Lego City set, well proportioned size of vehicles (for Lego).
Build time for both parts was around 30 minutes, without any particularly difficult or frustrating parts within the build.
If you’re being very pedantic. the only thing which lets it down slightly is that the car cannot drive onto the transporter ramp without the front wheels lifting off the ground due to the shape of the spoiler – but if you overlook that minor detail, everything is perfect!

Another fantastic Lego kit, ideal for 2 players
There’s a reason why Lego has been the leading toy construction brand for decades: it’s simply the best! You are always guaranteed the best quality, not just in terms of the components but also with regard to the instructions.
This kit comes with 2 vehicles — a transporter and a racing car — along with a mini figure / driver for each one. Each vehicle also comes with its own, separate set of instructions, meaning that 2 children can build simultaneously. We especially loved the smart color combo on this set — turquoise and pink — which sets it apart from other Lego vehicles we already have.
As always, the step-by-step instruction manuals are well illustrated and very easy to follow.
Our 2 grandsons (6 & 7) spent a very pleasant afternoon building their respective vehicles, managing on their own without any adult help.
With their moving parts, the completed builds offer great scope for additional fun.
lego city truck thats a good size and build
Hi, a good lego city build, my sons a fan of lego and has a lot and at almost 12, hes still a fan, he builds the lego and takes all the pictures as he loves it, it was an easy enough build and it looks good, a solid piece once built, price is good as you get a branded lego set thats always good quality
Love the colours
The Lego Race car and Car Carrier is recommended for ages 6+, which I definitely think is reasonable.
It comes in three bags with two manuals and there are 328 pieces in total (with spare pieces, included).
The manuals have the typical, easy to follow, picture guides, making the build very easy. Took an afternoon to build and was very fun to do with my nephew (who is six).
I really love the colours of this one, super bold and stand out against the other Lego cars he has.

An excellent Lego set, great value
A great Lego set with easy to follow instructions as you come to expect from the leading brand. Everything goes together perfectly! This is the City Race Car and Car Carrier Truck from the City collection and it looks great! Currently at review this is less than 20 which is a great deal on this set, my 2 sons loved playing with it.
Car Transporter theme - Easy to construct - Genuine Lego means quality
As part of the Lego City Series this is great for younger builders who are trying to move on to more complex models and this is really quite rewarding for less than 20 visually this is an impressive model that will also be great to add to a general builder’s selection as there is a lot of generic parts in this kit.

2in1 toy.
This is a great little set that is basically a 2in1 as you get the truck and the car.
The toys are easy to build and instructions are clear and easy to follow.
They’re small but big enough for Lego men to fit in and big enough and sturdy enough to play with.
The sets as a one of toy but also works well with the other Lego city sets.
Overall I’m really happy with this set and would definitely recommend it.
A great kit!
We have picked up a few new Lego City sets to try recently and this is one of our favourites simply because it has two main models to build in the one set at a great price – especially at the moment with a discount available!
This set contains a car transporter and a race car – along with minifigure drivers for each – and both models are good fun to build. It’s ideal as a present to share with two children or just one if they’d like to build this for themselves. The design colouring takes me back to the 80s with a very retro feel and my children had great fun putting this together. The age rating of 6+ is appropriate for the build challenge, although some may want a little adult help at this earlier age just to follow along with where they are in the build.
We actually decided to go hi-tech on this one and use the new Lego Builder app from the playstore to guide us through putting this together and I have to say I’m pretty impressed (excuse the rotated video). It’s just like the instruction book and will take you through each model step by step, but unlike the book, you can rotate the view whenever you may need to and see exactly where each piece clicks in against another and how this all comes together as you do it. Visually, it’s really a big help for those who want to embrace their tech side more with their Lego builds and the children are bound to love this development!

It’s Lego, what can I say, it’s good lol. With so many cheap toys flooding the market these days it’s nice to see a genuine Lego product. With Lego you really know what you’re getting, all you have to do is choose the design that you want, as far as quality is concerned you know exactly what you’re getting before it even arrives, it’s a known quantity, it’s been around for years, has always been good and it still is. This particular set is great, I love the colour combo of pink and turquoise. You get all the bricks you need to make both the transporter and the car and you get a little Lego figure for each vehicle. The instructions are very easy to follow but provide an educational experience and foster team work with other family members or friends. Once completed these vehicles continue to please, the wheels work properly and the ramp on the truck comes down to allow the car to be manoeuvred onto the transporter. Two little bricks then hold the car in place. It’s a really great toy that I’m sure any child would be thrilled with, possibly a lot of adults too lol.
Great addition to the lego city range
Brilliant lego set that complements with my grandson’s lego city racing car set. He now has a transporter for taking the racing cars to and from his racing car workshop/garage. It is very playable with once constructed.

A fun build
A good value set which is affordable for children to buy with their pocket money. You get 2 mini figures included and the racing truck and car. It was a fun build and my 9 year old managed to build it without any help. I also tried the lego builder app which makes building even easier using 3D however you still get the coloured instructions in the box. A fun addition to the lego city series.

What I love the most about this toy is the fact that children are learning while they play.
The construction element helps them learn and then when it js made up, they can have fun playing with the result.
It come with figures too, which is ideal for imaginative play.

This is a bit like a two in one, you have the truck, but also have the vehicle which can be carrier on the back of the carrier, both can be driven, and played with

This is an excellent lego set that builds the transporter and the racing car. The bricks are excellent quality, solid and easy to build with.
There is a book that gives you step by step instructions with setailes diagrams to make the build easy.
There is 2 characters one for each vehicle.
Good fun to play with after the build as well as while building
LEGO City Race Car with matching Transporte
We like the distinctive matching colour scheme of this LEGO set. Each of the two builds comes with its own coloured graphic al instructions. I had no difficulty with assembling all of the bricks. However, the vehicle decals are stickers, which are very tricky to apply with any accuracy. The blocky shape of the car is not the most appealing. I am also not keen on the way the cay overlaps the rear of the vehicle carrier, when it is loaded onto it.
The cars wheel rotate freely so it can be push around. The ramp of the vehicle carrier can be lowered so that the car can be push up it. There are blocks on the carrier which secure the car in place, so that the car will not move when the carrier is moved.
Overall this is a good set at a good price, but it is not one of my favourites.
