This is a great set for slightly older kids but any really above 5 or so as is simple enough to put together without help at that age for experienced little Lego builders but also a fun one to put together with them if they need a bit of help, and if you have an older kid like my husband who grew up on Mario then they will love putting it together too! Good value for Lego for the amount of pieces so would recommend fully.

This set is no exception making for a fun expansion to starter set and any others in your collection.

Mario is classic and loved by many, together with LEGO? Huge combo that everyone gonna love it. There is lots and lots of sets from Mario series and this is one of many as extension. It doesn’t have Mario figure itself included but there are 2 other characters such yellow toad and nabbit. Whole set represents shop with many different food in there like pizza, fruits, ice cream etc as well cart for putting groceries in it. Everything is super well made and prints on lego are high quality. Set has only 230 pieces but still brings joy when building. There is awesome guide included step by step so assembly is easy. At this price this set is fantastic.
This mario set allows you to create a small toad house to add to your collection. It works perfectly with other groups to make a full scene.
The set is small and easy to put together, but it does help the mario world feel more alive. It comes with an instruction manual to help you place all the blocks In the correct position.
The set also includs a small toad character to play with. The set is adorable and any mario fan would love it.

This is an easy-to-build set that whilst adds to the Mario Starter course is one that can be used to play independently.
The Mario shop is the perfect example of this where it can be used with other Lego City sets. My two boys had a great time using this with some of their other Lego sets.

This is yet another supercute Super Mario expansion set. It includes Yellow Toad and Nabbit along with a shop with lots of fun details. The instructions are clear and straight forward and my son built the set in no time. The quality is excellent, as expected.
Excellent Lego set (as always), easy to assemble for the average child. The fact that it is Super Mario, and despite our granddaughter not being in the least bit interested in that type of video game, was irrelevant as she has a vivid imagination and likes to incorporate characters into her play. Had she been a Nintendo fan that would have only made it better. You get quite a lot for your money (you only have to go into a toy shop to see how much play figures cost these days) plus of course you have the added bonus of getting to construct them as well.
I’ve never given a Lego set a bad review, and I don’t see any need to start now.

This is an expansion pack but can certainly work on its own. It includes 2 Super Mario characters, The Yellow Toad and Nabbit.
For interactive play you need one of the starter course which features Mario, Luigi or peach.
The set is brightly colored and with the instructions a relatively easy build, it does contains small parts so not suitable for under 7’s
The LEGO Super Mario Toad’s Shop expansion set is a lovely experience for kids and fans of the Super Mario series.
This expansion set is impressive. Toad’s shop is colorful and vibrant giving an authentic Super Mario experience. As it’s an expansion set it compliments several other sets in the super mario series. Those are numbered on the box as 71429 + 71360, 71387.
The instructions are clear and concise. They can also be found in digital format.
A nice addition to our kids lego box – great for developing fine motor skills and imagination.
This set is another perfect set to start out with if you’re venturing away from building DUPLO or other smaller building toys.
This is a very colourful LEGO set and it’s the expansion set for the Toad Shop. It does still work as a standalone though.
This is an expansion set for Super Mario Lego, being the Nabbit at Toad’s Shop Expansion.
As expected, it’s the usual Lego quality. It consists of quite a few small pieces though, although the box confirms it’s suitable for ages 7+.
Building is fairly easy. You have the usual instructions or can also build via digital instructions now, which is a nice option, particularly as kids often lose the booklets once built.
This isn’t too bad an expansion, although it’s a little disappointing that Lego Mario isn’t included in the set. It can be used stand-alone though due to the 2 characters included.
The price is fairly reasonable for a branded Lego set.
Overall, this is a set that will add extra play to existing Mario sets and should provide plenty of repeatability. It’s also suitable for boys and girls.
I felt very lucky to test this super cute Super Mario Toad’s set with lots of pieces but very easy to build.

OMG this wet is so cute! This is an expander set, you can join it with other sets. So Mario figure is not included.
You can use digital or paper instructions. The figures are very cute, any lover of super mario and LEGO will be happy with his set.
I would buy again and I would recommend.
