Levi’s Tab Variations
There are different variations of our well-known red tab. Some say LEVI’S, some say Levi’s, some don’t call out the brand at all. Fun fact: for special editions, we sometimes even change the colour.
What they all have in common? Be assured the Levi’s Tab stands for quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the brand.
Levi jeans.
I’ve always been a fan of these classics, good cut and quality which will always show. Not openly on sale on the High Street, so a good buy and price.
Perfect fi
OK
OK jeans, very long leg, some 36 inch jeans only just fit me, these are more like 38, may need altering, the jeans look well worn, even though they are brand new, which for some is OK I suppose. Rather expensive at 78 pounds, but you pay for the name, had better jeans at half the cost to be honest.
OK is the best I can say.
Take Care- Try Before You Buy. Collectors Edition.
I have several pairs of Levi Jeans- See Jeremy Clarkson and acquired a pair of turquoise ones last year. A solid dye colour. They look wonderful.
When I saw these Levi’s Men’s 501 Original Fit Jeans in Decadent Chocolate reduced from over 100 (GBP) I could not resist.
The quality is excellent they are made in Turkey not the USA which I can live with. But the colour is no where near solid.
However the photographs do not depict how the pants actually look in the flesh so to speak.
It’s almost as if Levi have stamped a stencil over the colouring rather than the uniform brown depicted in the pictures.
Indeed the descriotions focus on the traditonal 501 blue jeans.
Just when you really need a really clear pin sharpe photo of the actual colour.
(Levi have let us down a little trying to save a few bob rather than describe the actual jeans and focus on them.)
Buyer beware. If I were buying these I would use Amazons Try before you buy to ensure they are just what you want.
If like me you are a Jean iliterate read this firs
Bought these jean as I needed something of quality for my day to day. I must say the fit is just right, especially around the tight and the crotch, leaving enough room to move freely. The type of fit doesn’t allow to wear thermal underwear so keep it in mind.
These are the version with buttons instead of zipper, if like me you wanted the Zipper jean those are the 505.
Good quality jeans
I bought these jeans for 50 in the sales. They are well made, look stylish and are of good quality. My only criticism would be, they state leg length is 30″ I would dispute that. They are a tad longer than all my other trousers/jeans that are 30″ in the leg. They’re more of a 31″ or even 32″ in the leg I’d say. So they do hang on my shoes/trainers a bit. This doesn’t really spoil the aesthetic look of the jeans so I’ve been told. I also think they still look good. A word of warning, if you suffer from arthritic fingers, you’re really gonna struggle undoing and doing back up the buttons on the fly. They are VERY stiff, and I really struggled and my hands and fingers are strong. The buttons do start to get easier with time and with the more use them. But honestly they’re the worst jeans I’ve ever encountered for this problem. They’ve gone through a couple of washes ok. Happy enough.
They fi
Good quality material, bit long in the leg (no 29 inch!) but apart from that a nice fut. Colour is great; you can never tell from the pictures but pleased with what came. Should last a few years.
👍
Excellent value on Prime deal bought a few different colours of these kiss and goodbye this time not sure what the red blood spot colour is on the leg tho it’s definitely meant to be there had two pairs the same will buy again when deal is on wood say Levi not the quality they used to be worn Levi jeans for nearly 50 years just right for me I like the low cut just sit below waist and the straight leg good value at price I paid very happy anything over 50 tho would probably shop around for a different make not the quality they used to be if you’re not sure if they may be fake go on wikihow to check what to look for jeans red tab doesn’t always have writeing on it but should have the leg lengths and waist black ink all rivers should be stamped and buttons also top button stamp should be 3 or 4 digits such correspond to numbers on the inside tab and pocket centre sticking should always finish in diamond
Better than I ordered
When I ordered these jeans they were described as containing 95% cotton and 5% other materials (polyester and elastane). With that in mind I purposely bought a size smaller waist fitting (33 inch rather than 34 inch). The product was also described as being made in Turkey. The actual item was Polish made with 100% cotton! So technically it was not what I ordered. Fortunately, the jeans fitted well (the slightly smaller waist size reduced the baggy backside which is a feature of Levi 501s it seems) and so I am very pleased. But it might have turned out very differently!
Just like the one I bought in the US
So I thought these Levi’s may not be the same quality as the ones I bought in the US. But they are ! Well pleased from a Levi store in the US they are $78 plus state tax.
Great but be careful
Great original authentic 501s. Long time since I wore the brand, stopped when they got too expensive, bought some previously and was disappointed. They had lycra in them leg length came up short , very close fit.
This is the best site to get true authentic original 501s just made from denim, cut well. Caveat emptor.
The jeans clearly state regular fit but they aren’t! I own 5 pairs of 501s including these and all my other fit straid bit of room but nowhere near baggy but this pair is more loose fit so just watch out. Other than that great jeans as you would expect from Levi infact everything about Levi is there just whoever sized them was wrong
Wrong fabrics listed on Amazon descriptio
All appears genuine so no issues there. However, the description for ‘Solice’ details the jeans as 100% cotton which is what I was expecting, when in fact my jeans I received are 45% cotton, 36% polyester, 17% lyocell, 2% elastane. This does make a considerable difference to how they wear, wash and age . I assumed Amazon’s information would be accurate, unfortunately the product is falsely advertised and not what I was expecting.
I have been wearing Levi’s for about 15 years. I’ve seen a lot of people saying that these are not genuine or are of inferior quality, however, these are exactly the same as those purchased in selfridges or debenhams. They’re admittedly not as good as they used to be (I’ve got 2 pairs that lasted about 5-6 years of continual use, they had faded by the end and had torn on the stitching on the crotch and back pockets, but we’re still wearable). I have a pair of these I got about 18months ago, as a replacement of the marlin coloured ones which I bought from selfridges and had to take back after 6 months as the crotch was knackered (they replaced them free of charge) and they’ve had very heavy use. They’re still wearable but have faded much quicker and torn on the crotch and one belt buckle on the back. I’ve had Armani’, Lacoste and diesel and these still are much better. It’d be nice if they were as good as they used to be but they’re still a decent pair of jean.
