Gilet is lightweight but seems to be good quality. When you plug the connector into the battery pack you can choose to heat the front or the back or both with a long press of the buttons. Equally if you are a bit too warm you can turn off a section with a long press. There are 3 heat settings for each – indicated by the colour of the led on the buttons – blue , white & red. On red I find it gets a bit too hot so normally I use it on blue or white. I normally take a L size and I was torn between getting an L or an XL. I opted for an L and it’s a snug fit over a shirt. It would be too tight over a hoody or anything else, but then I would think you would want to wear it under a hoody rather than over it to keep the heat in. The gilet is said to be washable and that you should just put the usb connector in the pocket and then zip it up. I’ve only had the gilet a couple of days so not had to wash it yet and not sure how much protection this would give. I know that other gilets supply a silicone cap to put over the usb connector when putting it in the wash.
I paid 39.99 for my gilet and so far overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
The manual advises that on the low, medium and high settings the battery will last for 2, 4 & 6 hrs respectively. I’ve now down a battery test and with a fully charged battery and both front and back on the lowest (blue) setting the battery lasted 6 1/2 hrs so those times would appear to be about right.

He has recently had Covid which has left him with a bad cough and wheezy chest this has helped warm him up during the day whilst he is convalescing. He is super happy with it. Easy to use and charge up really handy this one comes with the battery bank included. Great value for money.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our son, who works as a Forklift Driver. He’s worn it to work every day for a month and absolutely loves it. It can be used with any power bank, so he takes the one it comes with, and 2 more, all fully charged so that he can have it on full heat, and stay warm through a 9 hour Night Shift.

Bought as a present for my Son. He is pleased with it. I originally ordered a Large but on arrival I could tell straight away that it wouldn’t fit him so had to reorder.

Not stopped wearing it since I got it, absolutely brilliant, can’t believe I’ve waited this long. Good quality, it uses usb so can use any power bank with it as well as the provided power bank. It actually gets quite warm that I actually have to turn it down when I get indoors. Definitely worth it!
Hope this helps, I’m 6″4 and fairly slim bought a large which was perfect to wear over a thick hoodie for work and is more than long enough too, if I was going to wear it just over T-shirt, I’d suggest a medium to keep the heat close to you. Elasticated bottom and arms help keep the warm in and it gets really warm. Been working outside in freezing temperatures and it’s great, even had to turn it off at some points. I bought another version first from somewhere else and it was really Ill fitting so I have something to compare it with. Also if your a larger frame don’t be put off by the fact it’s slim fit just go a size up.

i bought this vest and also bought a milwaukee hoodi as well. i was on a building project on a farm with no heating at all. this jacket is exellent, it is warmer than the milwaukee hoodi. although the milwaukee hoodi is very well made and will last for years of abuse on building sites. this vest heats up in seconds, and i used it every day for a week, it kept me warm all day, although i had to where a jacket on top of it, to add to the heat. also it will rip easy on building sites, so where somthing on top, if you are using it at work. only draw back is it takes 10 to 15 hrs to charge the battery, so buy a spare battery from elswhere. which has a charge indicator on it. you will not go wrong

Nice looking and well crafted heated vest – she said it runs slightly on the small side – tho still fit – we ordered a large. Was a little tight to zip up – even with the expandable side gussets. Pockets were nice – easy instructions and it heated up nicely. She said the neck warmer was a little warm when standing inside – but when we went outside – it was wonderful. A nice vest that will make the winter toasty!

Vest fits well. I use it while I am airbrushing on the patio at night. Heats the front stomach area and back. Battery is quite small and can be doubled as a phone charger. Has 2 USB ports. Micro SD for charging. It is a light vest that can be also used as a liner. The buttons are located in the front of the vest. When you press on it you feel like you are communicating to the enterprise in Star Trek. The buttons glow and pulse when activated. It makes me feels like I am a sci-fi character. Purchased the jacket for $55 cdn with coupon. Cheaper than an outdoor heater and more comfortable.
Decided to try this vest as it was in a tolerable price range. Vest is very light and seems well made. There are a couple flaws though. The zipper is very cheap, a couple times now after I zipped it up the bottom part of the zipper let go and started to split going up. You have to force the zipper back to get it to release at bottom. The usb cord where it enters the jacket is also not very well attach. You have be careful not to pull on it too hard, It feels like it will eventually break if your constantly pulling on it. The battery works as well as could be for a 10000mAh. It take a very long time 11hours charging of a standard usb3 port pushing 0.5a. Using a fast adaptive phone charger pushing 2.0a you can get it charged in about 5-6hours.
The vest feels pretty warm when on high heat as long as its pressing against your body.
Would I buy it again? no but I will keep this one and use it till it breaks.
