The best settee cover you'll find
I love that it has an elasticated strap which goes under the settee holding the cover in place .The material is beautifully soft amd great quality.
Now n then the polystyrene tubes which hold it in place in the seat creases, they can pop up .However ,I bought extra and now they almost never pop up .
Love it! (would recommend going up at least one size)
I initally got the “perfect” size – or so I thought. It kept slipping and so would leave the couch uncovered on the sides. I then bought the biggest size, and even though the seams don’t necessarily line up, at least I can fully cover the couch and tuck in the extra material.
I would highly recommend using the straps to hold the cover together (this made a huge difference once I decided to use it).
The quality is pretty great, washes well, scratch resistant (pets) and doesn’t cling to pet hair.
Highly recommend!
I have a very light cream linen sofa which for obvious reasons cannot be left unprotected in a household of pets, kids, and clumsy, snack-eating adults (i.e., me) etc. I’ve tried various covers but this is the BEST EVER. Here are my reasons:
COLOUR – it’s a really luxurious, soft, grey-blue velvet. There is something really sumptuous about it compared to a standard navy velvet.
FIT – very little wrestling to get it into position and it covers and fits beautifully. It also has these little bonus stretchy elastic straps (attach across the back and front in two places). It really isn’t budging (our old cover used to ping off at inconvenient moments e.g. whenever you sat on the sofa). With a bit of smoothing and pushing it literally covered everything smoothly (and my sofa is very squashy, large, and saggy).
QUALITY – really lovely, thick fabric. It genuinely looks like a new sofa and I didn’t think it would. This was a last resort before giving in and ordering a new sofa – something I think we can comfortably put off for some time yet!
EASE – felt like putting our old cover on was a mammoth task involving at least three people and juggling cushions etc. This one just folds over in one pieces – absolutely brilliant. The shaping of the cover is really intuitive too and fit even our very traditional style of sofa.
I uhmm-ed and ahah-ed a lot before getting this and I’m really glad I did – hope this helps someone else make their mind up too!
Lovely quality, thick and great fi
Love this cover. I’ve bought so many of these as have three dogs and this is by far the best quality one I’ve ever got. It’s lovely and thick, fits really well, washes like a dream and looks beautiful on the sofa and not like just a cheap cover to protect from animal hairs. Very impressed and will be buying more for other sofa. Delighted with i

We had high hopes after reading the reviews, how-ever..
on opening, all was going well, not very good instructions for fitting…
the stretch was great,
the 6 sponge shapes for keeping the item in place…. needs reviewing, as they keep
coming out!
As soon as you sit, the shape bits come up to the surface, and then comes out!
The material is like a velvet touch, and washes well.
If you have a cord sofa, be mindful that the cord effect will show through .
Overall, ok, the price needs to come down a little, the stretch is great, the fabric just needs a
little tweek, to make your sofa look like its had a change, without buying a new sofa…
Bought to cover a 3 seater leather sofa from the dogs. It arrived on time and packaged well. Product looks like a huge fitted sheet. The material is good quality, stretchy and a good thickness. It was a bit fiddly putting it on the sofa. Needed an extra pair of hands. There was a lot of excess material (more to do with size and shape of my sofa) but that was ok as we pushed the excess into the creases of the sofa and secured them with the foam rods that came with the cover. Have already washed it on a 30 degree wash and tumble dried it and it has come up perfect. All in all very happy with it.
Purchased these for a three seater and two seater sofa, as I was fed up with the throws that I had sliding off. Really pleased with them, although I paid more for the two seater cover than I did for the three seater (I believe the three seater was on offer). Total cost was 57.78. The three seater cover comes with two elasticated straps and 6 foam rods and the two seater (which they call a love seat) came with one and 4 foam rods. Easy to put on and adjust – which was just as well, because the cat couldn’t wait (first photo). I took a photo of the two seater before and after (third and fourth photo). The elastic straps that go underneath can be a bit tricky to navigate front to back, but I used a bent wire hanger to navigate them. Overall I am very happy with these.
I wasn’t optimistic about this cover given the price point. However, it’s great! Looks and feels like quality velvet. It’s really stretchy and we managed to fit it on an awkwardly shaped sofa. The cats especially appreciate it.
Been through the wash, all good.
I recently purchased the MAXIJIN Thick Velvet Extra Large Sofa Covers for my oversized 4-seater sofa, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. As someone who has pets and young children, I needed a solution to protect my sofa from daily wear and tear. These sofa covers have proven to be just what I was looking for. The thing I love the most about them is the thick velvet material, which not only feels incredibly soft and luxurious but also provides exceptional coverage and protection for my sofa. The super stretchy fabric ensures a snug fit without any slipping or bunching, giving my sofa a clean and neat appearance. The non-slip feature is fantastic, as I no longer have to constantly readjust the covers after sitting or lounging on the sofa. However, I do wish that the covers came with straps or hooks to secure them even more firmly in place. Nevertheless, based on my user experience, I highly recommend the MAXIJIN Thick Velvet Extra Large Sofa Covers for anyone in need of ultimate protection and comfort for their oversized sofa.
Bought 2 of these in Large to renew a 13 year old Dwell corner sofa that was cream 13 years ago but now looks dirty. Having young children meant a new sofa will just get ruined and we don’t want leather!
Whilst they aren’t designed to fit this shape of sofa, they can be stretched and manipulated to fit different shapes. They don’t fit our corner perfectly. The excess is hidden under a throw.
The noodles supplied to keep the fabric tucked in the cushions do an okay job, but they will pop out every so often. Esp if your kids jump around on the sofa. But we’re willing to live with that.
Fabric is a nice soft velvet. The good thing about velvet it that is doesn’t look neat and tidy by design, so it helps to hide the inaccuracies of the stretched fabric.
It feels plush and cosy.
Very pleased with the result tbh. For 70 it’s basically a new sofa…..
We can’t afford a new sofa, and it is very stained and tearing at parts. This cover gives some life back to the seat and was easy to use.
Only negative is the foam rolls supplied to tuck in around the cushions just literally pop out as soon as you sit down, so I’ve given up trying to keep them in place.
Definitely worth the money though, would recommend!
I have supplied before and after photos.
We have a Tetrad leather sofa which we’d covers with numerous throws to stop the cat from damaging it. This cover although loose in places does the job of all those throws and looks neat too. We bought the xxl size for our 3 seater sofa as the bolster arms needed that little bit extra. Very happy with the product so far, although it’s yet to be washed.
Update: after washing although the colour ran, the covers washed really well, no shrinkage or colour fade. 🙂
I was having a hard time finding a cover for our very angular/square sofa bed. I had ordered another cover, but I returned it because it was too small and the fabric was really thin.
This one is listed as “thick velvet.” I wouldn’t call it thick, but it isn’t flimsy. If it was thick, I don’t think it would have the stretch that it does.
I couldn’t use the styrofoam inserts included because the seams are too tight on the sofa, but they really aren’t necessary. Also, this is the khaki colour. I would say it is more of a medium beige, but the color works in my room.
I bought this cover for my large and very battered 2-seater. I had previously covered it with a bedsheet but it was hard to keep clean and tidy. I have two dogs, one of whom sheds a lot and they also like to chew hide bones which leave greyish marks on the covers. That was the main reason I did not want to invest in a new couch just now so tried the cover instead. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this item. It is made of relatively thick, velvety material, very pleasant to the touch and VERY easy to clean. Dog hairs just wipe off it or I can hoover it without the cover being pulled up. Any stains just wipe off with a damp cloth. I have had it a few weeks now and it still looks as good as new. It was easy to fit too. I did use the foam rollers behind the seat cushions and attached the elastic bands underneath but they are probably not strictly necessary as there is plenty of material to tuck in. Overall I am very happy with this cover and would buy it again. The colour is VERY vibrant (mine is Peacock I think), like a turquoisy-teal. I like it but might be to bright for some (in the photo it looks more blue).
I bought this white cover for my leather settee.
It feels very soft and very smooth. I would not say it is a thick material as the description states.
The cover stretches very well over my settee and the fit is fine. It moves about a bit too much though even with the foam rod things. They can pop out and I think they should have been more supplied. Eight would have been better, two each at the arm rests and then four at the back. I decided to return the white cover because is so slippy. I bought the red cover as that seems to be a different material. The red cover is a different material and I like it. The cover does not cover the whole of the bottom centre of the settee, maybe it can cover if I adjust the back end.
I have given it 4 stars and not 5 as it is not something you would want to keep in your reception room where guests arrive, also it does get a bit messy when you sit and get up. once you get the hang of tucking it in sofa, it is all good. It is a daily use, fit for purpose cover to protect your sofas specially when you are using your sofa most of the time( I have these in my living room which is occupied 90% of the time).
Overall I am quite happy with it as it protects my sofa from daily stuff, kids’ messy socks etc. If and when I expect someone at home (guests) I take them off. Even if someone arrives surprisingly it is not something you would not want them to see. So it is a good cover for my sofa, with some cushions it looks presentable, still I won’t put these in my formal reception room. Highly recommended for heavily used sofas and casual hangout corner in the house. Spend some money and upcycle your sofa really.
