Great quality
I actually ordered these filters to use in some art work, but we’ve also used them for coffee.
They’re perfect for both!
There are plenty in a pack, they’re ‘clean’, with no dust etc, and make a good cup of coffee.
I’ve also enjoyed experimenting with them in art, mixed media work, using with inks and charcoal.
Works well enough!
For full disclosure I actually use this to filter water rather than coffee.
It seems to do a great job, flows well enough through it and doesn’t add or change the taste in anyway.
For my specific use case, I recommend this product.
These are outstanding value; I bought 4 boxes for just on 12 and each box has 80 filters. I’ve paid more for boxes of 40. The filters are unbleached and do a good job of slowing the water filtration through the coffee grounds. That helps to extract the flavour. As they’re branded, I’m confident that they’re produced in hygienic conditions. Very happy to recommend.
Melitta 4 coffee filters
Well I normally get my filters from Asda which I’ve been using for years, same price 1.50/for 40, but they had ran out. Had to order these.
I don’t think these are a good. I use a single cup Clever Dripper. The coffee brews in the filter paper in the Dripper, wait a few mins, pop it on your mug & it drips thru, giving you lovely coffee, but with these filters, it just pours thru so quick, I barely had time to get the brown sugar out & the mug was nearly at the brim, but with the Asda filters, it drips thru more slower giving you an even better taste. I know it’s trivial & I’ll still use them but just saying.
Unbleached and good quality
We bought this for our Melitta Filter Coffee Machine. They fit really well, and I like the fact they’re unbleached. Compostable and better for the environment. They do a great job of filtering too haha
