This is such a lovely psu, only thing I don’t really like is the cables, expecially the 24pin is a bit tricky to fit for the mobo, but nothing that can put me out from giving 5 stars.
    Very good psu.

Has been quite reliable, no issues
From the date i purchased this, i have had no issues with power-related things for a while now. It comes with the standard cables, and a few molex cables for extra attachments. So far, the performance has been great, but you can definitely feel the hot air at the back of it. Installing it is like any other power supply, an absolute pain really. Overall, not bad if you just want something to power your rig.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersModula
Bought a corsair non modular, as an inexperienced builder I did not realise this would mean I would get a 30 year old cable. Now I bought this as a replacement, the fact its modular just saved me that headache and let me get good cable management while not having 10 unused cables laying around.

Gold rating is really nice to have too especially with the rising electricity prices, highly recommend this PSU for something like a 7800x3d 7900xt build (what I have) gets all the power to my parts. Great product!

MSI quality, very slick, easy to wire.
Can’t go wrong with most MSI products, hopefully this power supply will last more than a decade as well.
Plenty of wires included, and they’re all ultra-thin, so they’re easy to manage in any tiny space.

    MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 PSU
After my old PSU decided to kick the bucket one morning I was searching for a replacement. Looking around at some reviews on and off Amazon, The MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 seemed to be the perfect solution for all my needs. Plus, with the switch to an Nvidia RTX 4080 Super, the dedicated 16-pin PCIe connector is a bonus.

Wow, glad I decided on this one
Well I myself a RTX3090 and dam had 3x P8 power connectors so decided against adaptors so long story short settled on this little beauty. Modular, wow, I’ll never go back. Zero fan when in windows and kicks in when gaming. Only downside no RGB fan lol

MPG A850G PCIE - Great value power supply
This is a super quiet power supply meeting all the needs required for my latest gaming PC build which has an I7 14700k (unlocked) with a DeepCool Liquid Cooler LT720 and 4070 ti super.
The power supply came very well packaged with cables nicely labelled – one thing to note is the CHK code (required if you wish to register it with MSI) is located on the bottom of the power supply ( its not shown on the serial number label on the outside of delivery box)
In summary very pleased – even has a nice storage bag for the cables I’m currently not using

    Amazing PSU
I recently built a PC and after a good while of reading about other people’s rough experiences with power supply units I was very pleased and satisfied when the A650 GL arrived and found no issues with it!

    A successful PSU
It is very performant as you would expect from a power supply and I have not experienced any problems yet. All the cables and items you will need are included in the bag sent with the product. It was installed very easily.

Quiet, modular and overspec'ed for mos
At 850W, this is rated at more than most people will need, but with headroom to know you aren’t pushing the PSU to its limits, without going overboard and spending a fortune. As an example, for the system mine is in (i7 14700K, 64GB DDR5 6000, Geforce RTX 4070 Ti, 2x 2TB WD SN850X M.2 drives, 360mm AiO CPU cooler, 3x sys fans), a relatively powerful system, the peak wattage is estimated to be 700W max. – that demand won’t happen often if at all.

For the money, this seemed like a good buy. It’s quiet, the modular cables seem well designed and easy to keep the system build tidy, and MSI generally have a reputation for making good quaility products (I’ve certainly had no complaints over the years).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrilliant PSU for High End Build
This PSU is a high quality modular build, all ports and cables are clearly labelled and easy to install to both the chassis and the motherboard due to the cable being ribbon style and flexible. It also comes with a bag for your spare cables which is neat. My only criticism is that when installed in a standard MSI chassis (Gungnir 111R) the text for the cable ports is upside down on the unit but this is just a perfectionist nit-pick as you will never see it! Overall this is a great PSU for most builds! (Running Ryzen 9 7900x with AIO cooler, RTX 4070ti overclocked)

    A great PSU, so far.
As a modular item it’s easy to use and install. All my pre-existing cables worked fine, with the exception of the Motherboard, which was a minute or so to change.
Nothing bad to say, but will see how it lasts.

    Good PSU, underwhelming cables
PSU itself is good, I like that it supports 12V2x6 out of the box, but the included cables feel very cheap, they’re quite stiff and hard to work with, the fact that they are “flat” does nothing to help with the cable management. This doesn’t affect the functunality in any way, just adds some frustration during the build process.

    High quality from MSI
The PCIe 5.0 GPU Support is a great if have a RTX 4000 series graphics card, it means just the single one slimline cable instead of three separate stiff power psu cables in your RTX 4090 etc., which is a mess if you have a glass side panel and can see inside (this MSI MPG A1000G also comes with a PCIE5 power cable

Ita a MSI with a good warranty so many years of service is guaranteed.

Decent little power supply but beware this does only have a single 8 pin connector so for more powerful cpus this won’t work but shouldn’t be an issue anyway because you should run a powerful cpu with this kind of psu

If you want a 750W Psu with PCIE 5 this is what you need
Very easy to setup just shove some cables in the PSU and then into your motherboard and GPU. My pc booted first try with this PSU i cant find a reason to not get this.

    Good Quality : Price Performance
Not much to say . It is great price to performance quality . Powers my Ryzen 5 4600g and RTX 2060 Gaming Oc Pro greatly never had any power issues . Only thing is I’m not 100% sure if the 2 6+2 pin connectors can be used themselves to power a gpu that’s needs 16 pins as it’s a pigtail connection and non modular so upgrading further may be limited .

Again a bronze unit so you wouldn’t be pairing it with the most best GPU anyways

Great Performance and Excellent Value PSU
Ordered the MSI A1000G PCIE5 for my new PC build a few months ago, powering an AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and AMD RX 6900XT. It is a bit overkill for my system right now, but leaves plenty of room for future upgrades especially with PCIE5 compatibility and ATX3.0 standards.

The PSU is well built, feels robust and is quite small compared to similar alternatives, allowing you to easily install and access cables when built. It is fully modular and there are plenty of connections and cables, all fully black, with native PCIE5 cables included for neatness.

During use its provided reliable performance and is very quiet during all workloads. It has a button on the rear to adjust the zero RPM mode when below 40% power. The size in particular made it very easy to install compared to previous PSUs I’ve used.

Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase, the PSU was priced very competitively when bought and often has additional offers. It also has a 10 year warranty for peace of mind.

Lots of power for a good price
The Msi Mag b550n is a quiet power supply which manages to feel sturdy yet not heavy. The cables are flexible and slot into all the connectors well.

The only complaint is the MSI badge which can get caught on cases and bend, the logo itself is only a sticker and can come off.

Good value for money for the wattage and is still reliable, would recommend.

    Powerful and great value
I spent countless hours coming this to the ASUS Thor and went with this in the end as it was better value for money, newer and more powerful. The black with a little gold was also a sleeker and cooler look in keeping in line with the rest of my rig.

Comes with all of the cables you could want. However no instructions are included if you value that sort of thing. I also cannot hear this work (not without putting my ear close to it anyway) so it is pretty darn quiet.

I brought this PSU to put in a PC build and it works great. It is super quiet and runs very efficiently with the components. It is easy to install and is super high quality. It also looks sleek with the components and the design is very elegant. Would recommend.

Great power + plenty of cables
Bought the 850 watt model for peace of mind as I have a Ryzen 7 5800x CPU and a Radeon RX 66550-XT GPU installed and so far it’s been great. Had it for almost a month now and I’ve had no issues at all. The power supply came with more than enough cables all in a nice little bag which was quite handy (and a nice little surprise). Plus the fan is silent. As well as this I got a solid deal on it during Black Friday as it was significantly cheaper than other models for the same wattage.

Overall, good brand, good price and great PSU
