Good for my digestive system
Usually get a burning chest tummy after taking regular high strength vitamin c but not so with these tablets, have only had the burning once and probably because I used a paracetamol + caffeine tablet the night before. Rating is 10 out of 10.
These are huge oblong shaped tablets. I never struggled to take any tablets but this can be a pain when taking them as they are huge. Sometimes had to break it in half to manage to swallow it. Good price though.
I used this together with aloe Vera gel to massage my ring finger of which I had a nasty fall on the tarmac months ago and jotted the bone little bit sideway. I did not go to A&E at the time thinking it’s a trivial injury. Months past and I still felt he joint of that finger was constantly in pain when stretch or bent. Got this arnica cream mixed with aloa Vera and regularly massage the joint has reduced the swelling and improved the movement. Happy to recommend this product!
Quite large tablets for mos
I don’t have an issue with the size of the tablets but I can see how many people would. Overall good product and leave that vitamin c taste in your mouth after for a few seconds

Got these on offer 2 saving,quite a big tub,only took them yesterday but all vitamin c do the same thing,I’d ran out so had to buy more,the old brand I used have gone up so much in price so didn’t want to buy them,they are too big for me to swallow whole I had to break in half,if you struggle to take pills don’t buy these,they are big,if you can split them like I did then fine but just be warned,I would still buy again though just can’t swallow whole,good price
The vitamins are absolutely gigantic, so if you have trouble swallowing large pills don’t get these! On the upside – they’re very easy to break in half, which helps. They also don’t have a strong taste or smell which is nice! The size is the only issue for me.

I don’t think so. This pill can be swallowed by an adult without any problem. The taste is not good, but you don’t buy vitamins for the taste.
These are excellent value and a really good way to optimise vitamin C levels. Many people want to maximise this but the body can only absorb and process a small quantity at a time. My mother recommended I take a time release and usually I only have it in the winter but because of the pandemic I’m taking it once daily in the morning. If I feel at all like I might be getting ill or I might have been compromised I have another one twelve hours later but in general it’s not ideal for significant amounts of vitamin C to sit in the bladder overnight, so do consider that for your own situation. Some people who are obsessed with vitamin C are taking several grams a day and the side effects can be quite deleterious to health. Taking time release saves money, largely avoids side effects and provides a consistent bioavailable level that the body likes. It’s definitely the way to go. Ignore anyone who tells you to take 9g a day like I read the other day!
I halve these tablets and take one a day. 500mg of vitamin C daily is plenty and this makes the container last twice as long! Also helps with swallowing them as they are quite large.
The pills are awfully big, so big in fact i was confused as to whether i were supposed to chew them or swallow. After deciding to chew the vitamin i was left with a very bitter taste in my mouth.
So swallow it was…. With great difficulty… Every time. Other than that no strange side effects and seems to be doing what its meant to. Taking this with MSM
Update 6th September 2020:- i found that if you swallow the tablet horizontally instead of vertically, it goes down alot easier. Thank goodness!
Amazing value. Quality seems nice. Pills are quite big, did see a review where someone said you could chew them. DO NOT. I did this as I thought it may be easier than it getting stuck but the taste was horrifying, extremely sour to the point I had to spit it out and wash my mouth out ( and I love sour things ). I just snap in half now and swallow it in 2. It’s great for your immune system.
I always get this brand, it seems the best of the 1000mg tablets available, regarding ingredients. They’re chewable but I don’t like chewing them (they’re sweet – hubby likes them!), but they’re quite big to swallow whole.
I bought this product as am familiar with the manufacturer. Couldn’t give it five stars as they are quite long and, unless swallowed quickly (difficult due to the size), they start to dissolve. Not pleasant.
I bought this product to help to improve my immune system and unlike so many other products that I have bought from here, (for other issues) they actually seem to work. For the first time in about 2 years I actually feel pretty good! 🙂 The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because I’m using them with a slow release iron tablet, so it could be a combination of the 2, but I did use the iron tablet on it’s own before purchasing these and I didn’t feel this good, so who knows! They are not the easiest of tablet to swallow, but who cares if they work, will definitely buy again! 🙂
I take a slow release VitC supplement because VitC is very quickly flushed from the body if taken all at once at too high a dose (however read the website vitamincfoundation.org on how high doses can cure a number of ailments, VERY interesting!). This product is perfect and seems to have a very good reputation – my interest is to keep my VitC levels as steady as possible, so when taken with NAC and Alpha Lipoic Acid (and a few other basic vits – because no I don’t have the best diet!), it massively increases levels of Glutathione – one of the most powerful antioxidants the body itself produces (don’t be fooled by companies stating you can take Glutathione as a supplement alone, it breaks down in the stomach). Oxidation is the MAJOR reason for ageing and degeneration in the body, so keep those levels high (and VitC is needed for Glutathione production), and you’ll be healthier for longer. I’ve cured myself of arthritis in my hands because I learned this – do some research guys, and thank you NATURES AID!
love them and i’m glad that i found out about these, i have a poor immune system and usually catch the flu this time of the year i’ve been taking these for over a month up to this date and recently my partner caught the flu so that was bad news for me because i will catch it off him after.
i up the dosage and took twice a day, i got the symptoms of the flu coming in (very sore throat and aching joints) but i persevered and puled thru and the symptoms have subsided and i’m flu free for now which is a relief! i reduced the dosage to one pill after that and i’ve been fine.
i will continue to take these during the flu season to keep my immune system up and running and hopefully i will pull thru the rest of the year flu free too.
Been starting to watch my health a lot more as i approach middle ages, so i occasionally take different vitamins to boost my body’s levels somewhat. These tablets are good quality and seem to be making a difference. They are quite a high MG of dosage at a great price, however my only negative observation is they are around twice the size of your average tablets making you need to either break them in half or take with an extra large glass of water in order to swallow whole.
