Ingenious is the word for this blender. It’s powerful yet quiet. It blends ice and frozen fruit with ease. And to allay any fears, yes, it is an electrical item, but the cable slot on the motor base is water resistant – the base only needs an occasionally wipe anyway. The charge lasts for 5 days, making a smoothie once a day. It charges up in no time though – so much so I’m not aware of the exact time. I was expecting it to be ages and when I returned, it was charged. There is an LED light which changes colour to let you know what’s happening: if it needs charging; if you don’t have the jug and base aligned; etc. I absolutely love this as it easily allows me to up my fruit, veg and protein intake with ease. And, best of all, it’s an absolute doddle to clean: just be careful of the blades, as they’re razor sharp – which is why it’s so effective.

I love this product, the only thing that could be better is the fact that it is not easy to tell when the battery is about to die. It just stops working and then the red light comes on when it’s empty. If it gave more warning so I know when to charge. I would give it 5 stars. Other than that, It has been well worth the money and I use it every day!
