Bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law after buying ours 6-months ago. She loves the copper color – it matches her kitchen and looks so sleek and posh on her counter.
Pros: I use this thing for pretty much everything. It has basically replaced our oven. Fish and chip, yup. Roasted salmon and broccoli, yup. Pasta bake, yup. Rewarming pizza, yup. The best part is my 12-year-old uses it with ease to make dinner once a week and I get the night off!
Cons: Don’t really have one, but I guess it could be easier to clean the mechanisms in the lid. I don’t mind it, but it is a bit fiddly.
Works great, fab the only downside it is a nightmare to keep the inside top of hood clean it has a rough metal and it cannot be wiped clean it would be better if it had a smooth metal for easier cleaning.b
2nd fav ninja produc
i really like this product have used for over a month now and realy pleased.
im no newbie to airfreyer i=early adopter of phillips afte they invented the tech .
have had 4/5 diffrent ones (that og Phillips in storage but still works )
this Grill airfryer ect combo just works ..great size
versatile .
using ths alongside a multi cooker or a multi slow-cooker you practically dont need any other appliances when living in a couple or less.
easy to clean(except the grill insert)
cons- no bottom heat element like in the pro means it can only be used closed adn is really not a true “grill” but it achives required effect.
– i bought accessories (roasting rack griddle cup,veg tray and whilst all very useful for expanding the capabilities …i do feel they should all be inlcuded in the total price ..i was fortunate to get this all for 106 which is significantly lower then rrp so i did feel i got my money worth
-large wich is a pro and con but because of the way the lid opens need a generous space behind it also
Even better than I expected
I’m in love with my Ninja. Arrived on Monday and I have already cooked vegetables, chicken and chips. The chicken and chips turned out amazingly crispy. Vegetables went out evenly cooked and with a lovely crust, which I love. So far, nothing bad to say.
Probably the best air fryer I’ve had! So easy to clean, very versatile, allowing you to cook many different things. Easy to use and really quick at cooking. Having one big pan to cook things allows you to cook bigger batches of food, rather than the small separate trays some air fryers have.
Lid was top heavy for the base when opened. Otherwise a super edition to my Ninja family, as others have mentioned there were no silicone mits , which have been missing from ALL the Ninja machines that should have come with them? 4 in all come on Ninja where are our silicone mits?
Excellent grill for all meats. Can cook from frozen. Air fryer is top rate. Don’t spray too much oil on food, it’s not necessary. Too much can create smoke. Wish I’d bought one sooner.
Have been debating for along time whether to purchase an air fryer .Have been studying reviews and checking with friends and finally decided to go with the Ninja Foodi grill due to its large internal space plus other factors (brand quality reviews etc ) . I use liners in mine as I dont want to be cleaning it all the time .
Conclusion = Wish I’d bought it sooner . Easy to use once you bite the bullet , fast and overall coverage cooking . Roast joints ,toasted sandwiches, ready meals etc etc and I cannot so far find fault
PS a bonus …it was reduced and that it was copper and black as I have copper in my kitchen win wi
Looks great and performs even better – cooked a roast dinner in it and even my own roast potatoes (normally just bung frozen ones in the oven). You get what you pay for and this is worth i
I love the copper coloured finish of this item, which is exclusive to Amazon. It is a very well constructed item and feels as though it will last for many years. It is heavy and on the bulky side of things and it takes up more than one shelf in my larder cupboard because not all of the parts can be stored inside. So, it is awkward to store and heavy to move, but so very worth it!
The air fryer cooks extremely well and, although the contents need to be manually stirred, the basket allows air to circulate and turning feels almost unnecessary as a result. Food cooks fast and evenly and the results are crisp; I have made some of my best ever chips in this and in less than 20 minutes, which is impressive.
Of course, this is more than just an air fryer and the grill allows you to cook various meat items in much less time than you would need to spend frying, as well as ensuring nothing spits out. Once used for a couple of times following the manual, it is intuitive and very easy to use.
Washing up is straightforward and, when new anyway, the non-stick surface is a breeze to clean by hand. Stick to hand washing though as my previous Ninja baskets deteriorated significantly when placed in a dishwasher, developing holes and needing to be replaced.
If you are undecided, my experience using an older model is that it replaces your oven for many things and I have also found it useful to cook things I would have used a hob for. It therefore significantly reduces energy consumption because a smaller space takes less time to heat up and cook your item. Cooking times are also much reduced. Despite having to replace my earlier model, I didn’t have to think twice before getting this as the replacement.
The product is great. Arrived today and made steak and chips. Tasted great. Cooked well and nice and quick. Just disappointed there were no silicon mats as advertised. Had to buy oven mats separately … it would have been 5 stars if it arrived as described
I was so excited about trying this Ninja Foodi health grill and air fryer, Ninja makes such great products and superbly well.
When unpacking this one you can tell all the parts are great quality, the tins for inside felt so strong and sturdy that i was super impressed. You have a roasting style tin, a grill, and a crisp basket as the main tins, and all are perfectly made with notches to ensure you can only put them in the correct way round to hold them in place for the best cooking results. Plus, they can all go in the dishwasher when done for easy cleaning.
In addition to these you have a metal rack and some skewers for doing other bits like kebabs etc.
Also, in the set I had a nice Ninja apron, a cleaning brush, cooking guide, and some tongs. No silicone mitts were to be found despite the product images showing them as well as the description.
These were all nice additions and helped with the cooking experience.
The main grill looks lovely in the Copper/Black finish and when you lift the lid you have loads of space to help you cook your meals, plus in the side there is a meat probe that you plug in and stick in your meat then it will let you know when it’s perfectly done. This was very cool and neatly tucked away round the side held in place with a little magnet.
Now a negative, and this is the size, its huge, much like the dimensions of a pizza oven but when you come down to using it the inside is only 3.8l and good for a 2-3 person portion, when this takes up so much counter space I am not sure people will get much use out of it. The back sticks out quite a bit where the cable is and this is a required depth as you need it for the lid to open back into, this also means you need to have plenty of space around the top to lift the lid up.
Cooking meals was very good, the touch screen on the front is clear and easy to use, I like the quick cooking functions and have used it a fair amount for air frying due to it being so quick and easy. The meals have come out lovely and it can do some many different types on meal in it that it’s a good all-rounder.
Overall, it’s a lovely machine and very well made, but at 299.99 for this amazon exclusive colour scheme I don’t see where it is worth 80 more than the silver version. Also, its only suitable for large kitchens.
I do love it and I think lots of people will enjoy all the different cooking options it has, 6-in1 I am not sure more like a 4-in-1 but it certainly feels built to last.
This air fryer is fantastic. It looks great in the kitchen and it makes cooking for a family easier, while also producing healthier food since you hardly need to use any oil, or none at all. The tasty food comes out crispy and evenly cooked. I hated using my chip pan as it was messy and took a lot of effort to clean it and change the oil in it.
Being a Ninja brand, the accessories are top quality. You get a grill plate, a crisper basket, five skewers, some cool tongs with a locking mechanism to stop them springing open, a cleaning brush, an Ninja branded apron, a recipe book, and a cooking tray/pot that always stays in the fryer along with the removable splatter guard. On the side of the fryer, in a little magnetic compartment is the cooking probe. You just plug it into what looks kind of like a headphone socket, and the other end is inserted into your meat. To me, this has been amazing. I have been getting perfectly cooked meat every time. It is digital with touch buttons on the front, which do not light up until turned on.
You get pre programmed selections, such as fish, chicken beef etc. You can even choose if you want it rare, medium rare etc. You do have to have the probe connected to see the programmed selections.
I just love the LED digital touch screen, it makes it look stylish, and with the pre-programmed options, along with the probe it is simple to use.
Overall, this is the best air fryer I have ever owned and I hope it will last longer than my older ones, which did not even last 6 months.
