Easy to fit…
Very easy to fit and remove for when tap in use.. Not 100 percent sure of effectiveness re insulation as no real low temps this winter, but so far, so good
Good quality & durable
Due to the current cold spell in the last few months, I decided to invest in one of these to protect our outdoor tap. However, our tap has a splitter, and I wasn’t sure whether this item is big enough to fit our tap and the splitter. I was relieved when it did. Very snug and I could use the velcro to tie around the tap to properly seal it from the cold air. I find the product to be of good quality as the material used is quite thick, and I can see that it will serves its purpose in protecting our tap. I am happy with the product.
Appear to work well
Thanks to the Velcro straps you can really get a good snug fit around your outdoor taps. We had a week of -5C last month and had no issue with the new outdoor taps freezing. Assume that’s credit to the cover who knows?! 🙂
Not as large as you think
Comes in a sealed pack and looks on the small side compared to what you see in the pictures. It works well just hope for a larger one to cover the tap and pipe
Keeps Outside Tap Safe From Frost.
Bought tap cover to stop my outside tap from freezing up in winter. Easy to fix, just put on and tighten it up. So far no problems and it does what it is suppose to do, pleased with my buy.

Great protectio
We have two outside taps and one I use this device on. It brilliant. It’s padded so it protects in the cold and ice. It’s fastened with Velcro so easy to fasten. It goes on and comes off without tugging. More you could not wish for!
Really simple to use.
I used to have a complicated flapped and press stud jacket. I lost it somewhere in the shed so I thought I would give this a try. Yep it appears to keep my tap toasty against the sharp frosts we have been having. It is well priced considering the consequence of a frozen pipe directly under my kitchen sink.
So why only four stars you ask?
It fits on the outside tap. It ties securely and tightly. But since purchasing it I have had no frost and that is the essence of the thing. And I am not perverse enough to wish for a frost to test its effectiveness either.
