For habitual longhand writers who suffer with hand problems, these are a lovely alternative to the more traditional but somewhat perilous (and expensive) solution of the fountain pen. These have a lovely wide barrel grip with a soft touch plastic covering, and a very nice flow of ink, making it much easier to write without undue gripping or pressure than the average gel pen. And no leaks in my bag, hurray!
amazing pens
i have bought these pens in 2020 and they still work! they are very nice to write with and they leave your book looking nice and neat. i would recommend these pens for ages 11 and up . I have bought another set for my youngest child. Pls do not listen to all the bad reviews, these pens are the best i have bought so fa
Excellent pens for those who write alot.
I do a fair bit of writing for my personal and professional life. For this reason I not only go through pens and pencils fast but also am on the lookout for comfortable pens to use for longer periods (2-3hrs continuously). I am very satisfied with these pens and can recommend them, especially to those who get pain in the fingers, because my mum who has arthritis loves these too.
They arrived in an open packaging and the seller explained they come in wholesale which explains the much reduced price than the market one. Im delighted and a very satisfied customer because I know they are new as all pens have the plastic dot at the roller ball tip to prevent buildup of the gel which affects the rollball gel flow when writing. Additionally the delivery is free and sent immediately.Definitely will bookmark this seller and recommend him for other purchases in the future. In turn, he has a customer for life.
No ink
half of the pens do not have enough ink to write a full word. About 5 pens are useable, the ones with ink are good and write well but very disappointed with this
I absolutely LOVE they pens they are lovely to write with and the colours are vibrant. So why only 4 stars? Well I’ve ordered this pack twice in 2020 the pack delivered in May, terrific, and I still have some of the colours left. The pack from November has been less perfect, the ink tends to run light all of a sudden and I end up trying to restart it with a scribble like you used to for old ball points. And the the writing is not as perfectly smooth. I’d also like to see better availability of colours in refills so that I can do my green bit and save on wasting the outer barrels because the refills are also brilliant and easy to install. All considered I’m definitely hooked I just hope for a perfect ink flow experience next time I order!
These pens are great.
However, 2 big issues.
1. The ink. The ink runs out like crazy, I’m on my third set of these pens in 2 or so years, it’s crazy!
2. Dirt. The material (the rubber coating) picks up dirt very easily. I recommend, if you’re taking them to places (eg school or work), that you clean them regularly as they’ll naturally pick up dirt quickly. This may not be an issue, but they get torn very easily and look aged very quickly (6 months or so, about the same time the ink runs out if you’re using them daily). I understand you can purchase refills for ink by the way, but the pens are so aged and before, the clicker on the end doesn’t work or is stiff.
However, these are AMAZINGLY SMOOTH! They write beautifully, and I have to say, they’re my favourite pens. (Hence why I keep buying them!)
In the photo, these are pens from December. I use them for school a lot.
Colours are amazing. I don’t use the brown much but that’s just me! There’s 4 blues, they’re all very different shades though. The 2 greens are different too.
The colour on the case of the pen is the exact same as the ink.
I understand these don’t look worn, but lockdown hit in January so I wasn’t moving them from my desk much. Mark my word – if you’re keeping them in a pencil case or a bag etc, they’ll age, wear, and the rubber will change and become a darker colour in 4-7 months. I’ve purchased these 3 times!
Sublimely smooth
Best pen I have ever found – it’s an indulgence but worth it! The fact that they can be in or out means that there is no top to lose and they never blob or smudge.
Beautiful Colours
I’ve been after these pens of ages, waiting for them to go down in price, but just had to get them in the end. They are lovely colours, great writers. Paper Mate are in the business of making great stationary and these are not a disappointment. It’s a lot of money to pay out for pens, but they are good. Great gift for a stationary addict who loves colour! But they would brighten up anybody’s day too.
I love InkJoy pens
I just love an InkJoy pen. 🙂 They aren’t the cheapest pens around but they are just so nice to write with. I love the bright colours in this set and they are great for annotating notes for work especially as they dry so quickly.
I love these pens soooo much. I use them for work regularly. I use them so much I bought another pack love the retractable click style. Love the bold colours and how opaque they are and they write so smoothly. They do need like 10 seconds to dry so if your left handed try not to immediately rub over what you have just wrote. Other than that I love these pens! Just wish they where slightly cheaper. Like maybe 10 so its less than 1 a pen =)
This is my third pack of these pens because I cant gear the thought of ever running out! I am studying a language and use a colour coding system in my note taking and it’s been a struggle to find a pen that has bright enough colours, a smooth flow, does not bleed through pages, and fine enough for when I am writing new or complex characters, that need to be very clear. These are the first pens I have tried that have ticked all the boxes.
The colours are mostly bright and vibrant, or in the case of the dark colours, rich and deep, I am a particular fan of the purple, which has become my main note taking colour. The pens are very comfortable to hold and being retractable there is thankfully no cap that could get lost. The ink is deposited onto the paper evenly and smoothly and looks great. I use minimum 70gsm paper and have had no bleed through or ghosting. However, I have not tried them on lower quality paper so can’t comment on that. The nib is fine enough that I can write complex small characters that I can read back easily, but not too fine, to the point where it is either scratchy or uncomfortable to use.
If you like making colour coded notes, or journalling, or hand writing letters, I totally recommend these pens. For what they are, they are not expensive, and they also last for ages.
Worth the price!
These pens are pricey but it’s worth it. The ink flow is so smooth and each pen lasts a while so the price per pen is actually very good. They’re one of my favourite pens to write with!
Top buy!
I’ve been using the standard Papermate Ink Joy 100 0.7F pens for a while now and I thought they were the best pens ever. I wanted an inky equivalent that drys quickly and does not smudge. These pens are amazing and exactly what I needed. There are a great range of colours in the pack and it makes my handwriting look very nice.
Nice and smooth
If you like a smooth flowing pen with a deep colour these are the pen for you. Everyone that picks it up to use loves them. Which does mean I am constantly buying them as people “accidentally” walk off with them.
Bought them for myself and they were so good, almost like a mix between gel and felt pens, and the colours were so pretty and varied. Bought some for my sister as well and she loves them.
They are a bit expensive but they are very worth the price. The ink tube is very thick and you can tell these pens will last you a very long time, I think the price for them is very reasonable.. They work perfectly, no failing, no drying, no smudging, no bursts of ink, they feel premium, and the design is gorgeous! They feel amazing to hold.
So few pens suit my handwriting other than a fountain pen as I’m left handed….I tend to push the pen rather than pull as right-handlers will do. I’ve tried so many different pens on the market for day to day writing. These were blissful to find! I can now write smoothly (I have a calligraphic style) and the ink lasts well compared to other similar pens I’ve used before. GREAT find!
