Pre-ordered…didn’t receive it, and it seems like they didn’t have enough copies to send.
BUT, I ordered it off another site, and this game is amazing. If you like the Persona series, this game must be played. Characters, story, gameplay… everything is peak.
Persona 4 was my first game in the series and I loved it. It made me a fan of the series and until now, it is/was my favourite persona game in the franchise. my only experience with P3 prior to this was Portable. I didn’t get the hype at all. The FemC character didn’t make a difference to me. It was a point and click persona game and I hated it. The fatigue mechanic made it a slog. And I understand the original P3 had the fatigue mechanic too. Honestly I just gave up. I’ve played versions of every persona game and enjoyed them for what they were. Even innocent sin but this one never clicked with me for some reason. then Persona 3 Reload came along. It’s obviously better graphically, but it’s more in tune with P4 and P5. The fatigue mechanic is gone (THANK GOD). Story elements are added. More voice over work in scenes that didn’t have any originally. The voice acting is better. There will be complaints about femC not being a protagonist but she wasn’t even the canon Protagonist anyway. Read the manga, watch the movies. She doesn’t exist. so for me it’s not a big deal. Huge improvement on Portable. In fact I’ll just say it. It’s better than the original. I finally like this game. Something I thought I’d never say. Fantastic remake. Hopefully some of the FES content will be DLC. I’ve never played it but obviously as a Persona fan I know about it. And has a lot of plot elements that are going to be needed.
