This is great so far, I’ve tested it for about five minutes but I’ve been told my voice is alot clearer, the headset is comfortable and lightweight, the foam is also comfortable, it didn’t feel like I was wearing a headset at all

The packaging it arrives in is good and feels very premium for the price. However mine did have issue where sometimes I’d hear static, but apart from that it’s a decent product.

Impressed so far with these, very light, very comfortable, only a minimal pressure when wearing which will loosen over time I suspect. They look and feel great.

I’d read a lot of negative reviews about the 7.1 surround sound setup and whilst I agree, you shouldn’t have to do this, it wasn’t as bad as people made out. All in all took me around 15 minutes. I had to register with Razer, then (the worst bit, wasn’t very comfortable doing this with brand new headphone as was a little tricky to get the fabric back in) I had to pull out a bit of the headphone cushion so I could read the serial number and enter this on the registration. A minute later an activation code was emailed to me. I followed an official razer video on youtube and 7.1 surround was set up, not sure how much I’ll use it mind.

Played online with friends last night and no discomfort and no negative comments from friends about echoing or too loud etc. Happy with the purchase.

For the price on black Friday these are incredible, the 7.1 surround sound is crisp, the bass is deep and the mic has great focus and noise reduction.

The only issue with these is they are shipped in their standard retail box, no extra packaging, no padding no Amazon external as they come from Belgium, mine passed through customs and two days later arrived with the package ripped open, the headphones half out the box and this is how they ended up with me.

Love these headphones but maybe buy them in stores

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAs a passionate gamer who recently purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 X, I must say this headset has exceeded my expectations in every way. From its sleek design to its remarkable performance, it has quickly become my go-to choice for intense gaming sessions.

The first thing that caught my attention was the Triforce 50mm drivers, which deliver an unparalleled audio experience. Whether I’m traversing through an immersive open-world game or engaged in a competitive FPS match, the sound quality remains crystal clear, providing me with a distinct advantage in pinpointing enemy movements.

Another standout feature is the advanced passive noise cancellation, which works like magic in blocking out any distractions from my surroundings. This is especially helpful during online tournaments or late-night gaming, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the virtual world without interruptions.

The 7.1 surround sound technology is truly a game-changer. It enhances the overall audio landscape, making it feel like I’m right in the heart of the action. The surround sound combined with the exceptional directional audio has significantly improved my gaming performance, enabling me to respond faster to in-game events.

One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the Hyperclear cardioid microphone. It delivers excellent voice clarity and effectively filters out background noise, ensuring my teammates hear me loud and clear during team communications. This has made coordinating strategies and calling out tactics a breeze, boosting the overall team synergy.

Comfort is crucial during long gaming sessions, and the BlackShark V2 X nails it. The plush memory foam ear cushions and adjustable headband provide a snug fit without causing discomfort, even during extended playtime.

The multi-platform compatibility is a huge plus, allowing me to use this headset across various gaming systems, be it PC, console, or mobile. It’s incredibly convenient and versatile, catering to all my gaming needs.

In conclusion, the Razer BlackShark V2 X is a top-notch wired esports headset that delivers on all fronts. Its impressive sound quality, noise cancellation, surround sound, and comfortable design make it an essential gaming accessory for any serious gamer. Whether you’re a casual player or a competitive esports enthusiast, this headset is sure to elevate your gaming experience to new heights. Highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHaving taken up streaming my D&D games and others on twitch/sajlive I decide I needed a new headset/mic as my old one was a cheap nasty thing and needed replacing.

After a while, I decided to take a plunge on this headset and by heck it’s amazing!

Arrived in nice packaging once inside I found the headset and a cable to use it with my capture card and a lovely little bag to store it in which is a nice touch.

The headset itself is so light I don’t notice I have it on at all even after hours of streaming/gaming, the mic is crystal-clear and has great noise cancellation from things going on in the background with a handy little knob to control the volume of the headset and a mute button just behide it for the mic, both are located on the left ear cup. The ear cups fit perfectly and are very comfortable.

The green cabling on the headset is nice touch.

Overall I would highly recommend it for any gamer/streamer.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersThere does seem to be quite a few bad reviews for this headset, talking about a bad sound quality lacking bass and also talking about the mic being terrible or not working.well that’s not my experience of them at all.

These have a good sound despite the bad reviews. It’s a very neutral sound, I’d be interested to see the Harman curve because these have almost good as sound as some of my audiophile IEMs and headphones that cost hundreds and use balanced cables. For the price i have zero complaints. The cable is a little lacking but for a gaming headset I can live with it.

I imagine those writing bad reviews about bass have never heard a 24bit FLAC played through a good pair of neutral headphones. Probably too used to beats headphones and bass making up for lack of quality in highs and mids.

But I digress, I didn’t buy these for FLACs. In gaming they have more than enough bass so that footsteps are clearly audible in PUBG for example. I don’t understand why people would want more bass than these can provide. The sound is just neutral so source is everything. If the source is bass heavy the drivers can produce a heavy bass. You can always use an EQ if you really need the bass to be heavier in games. But playing MW2 with these on, any heavier bass and my eyeballs would rattle with every explosion.

The mic is good, it’s very clear. Almost too clear, I can hear every little movement of my tongue and lips when talking for example. Like using a sensitive condenser mic. It didn’t help that the foam cover was missing from my box, I’m hoping with a replacement one, that it might tone down the sensitivity a little. I am only using the first level of mic boost and the volume is ample. Using detection mode for the mic on MW2 works great.

Overall I’m happy with these. I needed a multi system pair for use on both series x and Pc so chose these over the V2 with USB. I don’t regret it at all.

The included 7.1 surround software for PC also makes a nice difference to the sound in gaming but it does drop your audio bitrate down to 16bit 48khz. So I don’t use it for music as I like 24bit 96khz+
