Strong and wide - better quality than any I've seen to date!
These bands come in three different levels of resistance. Given my past experience with other bands, I used the strongest (darkest pink marked with three circles) at my Pilates class today. I was very pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this was. It is wider than any others I have come across (14.5 cms/ 5.75 inches) and is thick and strong. I felt absolutely confident that it wouldn’t suddenly snap as my previous one did! In fact I am going to use the medium one next time, as I need to acclimatise my muscles more slowly to this level of resistance. I can definitely recommend these – the quality is excellent.

    Low impact exercise
Great bands for starting and continuing exercise each band has a marked strength on so yo can start easy and work your way up ,I bought these for a bed bound relative and he found them very good

    Great quality resistance bands
I’ve been using resistance bands like these for many years, and I like these bands very much indeed.

They are well made, come in a very useful net bag, along with a 30 minute training programme. The training programme has photos and very easy to follow instructions for exercises that you can do three times a week.

    I’m very happy with them.

Useful bands, but 1.5m was a little short for me
At first I thought these bands would be a little too weak but then I tried them out in a pilates workout and could barely walk at the end of it. Still, they’re not as powerful as some of the other resistance bands I’ve got, and it’s more the way you use them that makes them effective. Because they come in one flat strip and not loops, they’re slightly more versatile than my other bands, and can be incorporated better into a routine. They’re also a little less fiddly to use, and you can generally get them into place a lot easier.

I found they’re particularly good for rowing exercises, wrapped around your feet with your legs outstretched, or assisting roll-ups, or even adding a little resistance to a mermaid stretch if you sit on the band and hold each end with your hand as you stretch.

The only thing that bothered me was the length of the band. My bands started out at 150cm and though they’ve gradually stretched to about 155cm as I’ve used them, they’re still not long enough to perform all the exercises I would like. I get the impression that my bands are simply shorter than a lot of the others I’ve seen people using. To give you an idea, if I stand in the middle of the band and lift each end with my hands I can only just reach up to shoulder level. Personally, this is too short for me, and though they’re really useful bands to have if you can incorporate them into a routine, I would suggest getting the longest one you can. 1.5m isn’t enough to feel comfortable when you use it and, with hindsight, if I had my time again, I’d go for something nearer to 2m.

    NIce resistnace band se
This set is ideal for using at home or if you go to classes that use them and you need to take your own equipment There is a good range of resistance and they come packaged in a nice storage pouch to keep them together and prevent them unravelling and getting caught up in your kit bag!

    Good Value
I have been using elastic exercise bands for the past year as part of physiotherapy after shoulder surgery. This set of three bands is good value and comes in a handy carry pouch. The three individual bands are graded from yellow to pink to blue in terms of resistance, and this resistance is indicated with one, two or three stars on the side of the band. You can also distinguish between them, simply by feel due to the varied thickness of the three bands.

When I ordered these, there was only one size (1.5 m) available, and I feel that this length is slightly on the short side. The longer bands would provide slightly more in the way of options. At the current price point (7.98) you can’t really go wrong.

    Good fu
I had never tried resistance bands before so was not sure what to expect, but I am having great fun with them!
They are easy to pick up and, although I found the included booklet a little difficult to understand exactly what I was supposed to be doing, I Googled some simple exercises for beginners and soon got the hang of it.
I am definitely feeling the benefit and am sure I am more toned, especially my arms.
I am still on the easiest, yellow band but I’m sure I will progress nicely.
Good for all abilities and you can go at your own pace. Recommended.

Do exactly what they need to
This set contains 3 resistance bands of different strengths making it extremely versatile; they can be used to exercise many parts of the body, for both starters and more experienced health and exercise enthusiasts. These bands feel good quality and can be perfectly used for for a wide range or excesses and in any setting, indoor or outdoors, at home, on holiday or in the gym/ the yoga class.

Obviously the key attribute and benefit of these bands is the colour-system that specifies the level of difficulty, the strength is also clearly printed on them. You can also combine two or more resistance bands to match you preferred strength level. The presentation of the set is decent, the bands come in a small plastic pack.

Overall, a good set that should meet the needs of most looking to improve their health with resistance-band excercises.

Value for money, great item, just not for me
There are three resistance bands in the black drawstring pouch and an illustrated booklet. The manual did not make it clear which band represented which level of resistance, although it becomes obvious when you look at each individual band: there are three dots on each band, one dot filled in equals low resistance (yellow), two equals medium resistance (pink) and three dots filled in equals the most resistance (blue).

Having not used resistance bands for exercise purposes before, only for physiotherapy under instruction, I found it quite hard to follow the diagrams of how to exercise each muscle group, even though the picture itself was clear. This is probably because I am not familiar with this type of exercise; I thought I could transition from using resistance bands for physiotherapy to using them for exercise, but it seems a completely different discipline. For a start these bands are open-ended, whereas for physio purposes they were in a continuous loop.

I did try out the sitting down exercise, which was quite simple, but the band kept slipping off my feet and I could not feel which muscle group I was meant to be exercising! The bands themselves feel strong enough to perform these exercises though, and the highest level does seem to offer a good level of resistance, but unless you are even a bit familiar with this type of exercise it is might be worth using the manual as a guide to get you started.

I think these would be great for someone who is already used to exercising with bands, or with cables at a gym, because they are highly portable within their pouch and easy to pop into a suitcase. They also seem to be good value for money, especially as they come with the pouch and booklet.

    Simple and effective
The bands came well packed in a little bag that will be useful for storing them. Each one has 3 dots, either filled or unfilled, to show the level of resistance, and they feel good quality. I feared they were so thin that they’d start to split, but I didn’t have an issue with that at all.
The booklet comes with some good exercise ideas if you don’t know where to start with using them, but they’re also very intuitive to use and even just messing around with them you’re likely to find ways to target a wide range of muscles. After trying a few basic exercises I definitely felt like my arms and shoulders had had a workout. The ability to use them in a wide variety of ways, even while sitting, makes these a great option for people with mobility issues. Even without such issues it’s easy to pick them up while sitting at a desk and just do a few basic moves, so can be worked into even the busiest of schedules.
Some of the exercise ideas in the booklet required standing on a section of the band and stretching it up above shoulder height, and being tall I was sceptical that it would be possible, but at 5ft9 I had no problems, and even my 6ft2 partner was easily able to complete the moves without issue.
Overall very happy with these, I expect they’ll get a lot of use.

    Good Value Se
    Pros:
    * At around 8.50 at the point of review, they represent good value, budget resistance bands.
    * The bands come in a handy ventilated storage bag and are supplied individually sealed.
    * In use they work as intended with the colour coding from easy to hard being Yellow – Pink – Blue.
    * As detailed they are just under 5 ft long, which is suitable for most exercises.
    * They have no nasty odour like some budget items I’ve had in the past.

    Cons:
    * They seem to need some sort of initial break in period. The stretch loading initially felt odd. When first used they seem to offer resistance which then “gives” a little as the band stretches more under the same applied static load. This does seem to have settled now that they’ve all been stretched along their entire length.

Any durability issues and I’ll update the review
