Lovely dress I bought for my Granddaughter’s wedding, the only problem I had was after about half an hour of trying to get it on I discovered that the lacy top that was attached to the dress straps and causing all the problems, had tiny press studs to remove it. Once I detached it I found it was easy to put the dress on separately first and then the top!
I am so delighted with my lovely dress and can’t wait to wear it on 30th July fr my 90th birthday and our 63rd wedding anniversary. It’s Beautiful We have Romans in our town but unable now to go shopping, Thame you Romans xxx

Reading the reviews I’ve noticed the comments on the lace top I wonder if maybe they missed to find the concealed zipper that makes it easy to put on or take off, I’m so happy with it I ordered it in a16 normally I’m a 14 but I’m quite busty and it Fits perfect but if you’re not busty then it’s true to size
Ideal for a sons wedding
Ideal for a sons wedding. Ordered a 14 which was too big exchanged for 12 which was a better fit. Nice length for my wife who is 5′ 1″. The lacy top finishes the outfit off nicely.
The top, as other reviewers have mentioned, could do with some stretch but works well over the dress. The top of the dress without the lacy over top is very see-through. The whole dress needs a slip on a sunny day. Lovely colour and good heavy feel to it. I am a 14 top and bought a 14 dress and it fits, wouldn’t want it any smaller.
Excellent colour and drape to the dress; adjustable straps, which are helpful. Overlay top takes a bit of maneuvering, but is worth the effort – might be challenging for someone with limited arm mobility to get on. Beautiful dress – got lost of compliments.
