Having a reliable set of bike lights is crucial for my evening rides, and this set has been a consistent performer. The brightness is just right for city streets and darker paths alike, ensuring I’m visible to others while also lighting my way. The different modes are practical, especially in varied lighting conditions. What I appreciate most is the long battery life. It’s comforting to know that these lights won’t give out on me during longer rides. The waterproof feature came in handy during unexpected drizzles. Their ease of installation is a bonus, fitting snugly on my bike without needing any extra tools. They’ve become an integral part of my cycling gear, and I feel much safer on the road with them.

This set of two bike lights is very well made and easy to both attach and take off your bike. The front light is quite heavy, made of anodised steel, and the rear light is a strong plastic. The charging port on the front light is a USB-C and has a protective cover. The rear light is USB-Micro so you’ll need an extra cable. The lights are waterproof.

The ten LED lights are stunningly bright, almost too bright for me, but there are several adjustments and different light levels you can choose. The control buttons for selecting which of the eight light modes you want (flashing, spread, focused, etc) confused me initially.

There is a display that shows the charged state of the battery and for how long you can expect the battery life to last. This is very useful. The battery life depends of course on how brightly the lights shine. Using all ten of the super-bright lights will give you about fifteen minutes’ worth of biking; on the lowest setting, which is still adequate, the battery lasts for over three hours.

The set is quite expensive but it is well made and sturdy. The front light can be used as a stand-alone torch and the unit can also double as a power bank. It’s the brightest bike light I’ve ever had.

Incredibly good bike light set this, in the box you get the main headlight, rear red light, 2 USB cables (front USB-C, rear is microUSB) and the clamp.

    Installing
The clamp is heavy duty and really easy to install, you stick it over desired location, flip latch over, screw it to tighten a bit then flip the latch down to really tighten it and that thing is going nowhere, yet is super quick to release if need be. The headlamp then simply clips onto this with a simple notch clip with an easy quick release and sits securely.

The tail light isn’t quite so nice unfortunately it simply uses a rubber wrap and latch, biggest gripe is it only has a small latch there so I was nervous about it holding, but it did in the few rides I’ve tested with so can’t fault it, would have preferred something a little more secure however.

    The Headlamp
This thing is a beast, it has a number of different modes depending on what buttons you cycle through, on full beam with all lamps on, it’s incredibly bright but at the cost of battery, you’ll only get just over an hour with it all going, but this can increase dramatically if you turn it down a bit and it gives you a plain reading on exactly how long you have on the display, very very good.

    The Tail lamp
Despite the simple mount, the tail light in itself is very good too, it has a line of red LED’s and you have different modes to choose like all on, flashing and cycling left to right among others, kinda gives that knight rider feel to it, it’s really nice bright and won’t go unnoticed for sure.

Really just an outstanding set especially at the asking price and would highly recommend.

These lights provide everything you need for night time cycling.

The front light feels very well made, like a robust little tank in your hands, it’s very simple to use, no unnecessary complicated controls, just two buttons — on/off and another button to increase the brightness, which I’ll add, is very, very impressive! At least in comparison to my 30 year old front light that I used to use. There are other light options such as SOS and strobe, you activate these by pressing the same buttons in a different manner.
The back light is minimal in size but super sleek, with a nice array of different light settings.

Connecting the back light is very simple, simply strap it on and you’re good to go. For the front light you get a little adjustable mount.

For bike safety these two lights are worth every penny.

The front light is brilliant. Really bright, lots of different run modes to suit your needs. It has two buttons to control wide beam and focused beam, and you can set those individually. At full everything it has a fairly short run time of 15 minutes, but honestly that is just too bright! Even on the lowest settings it throws tons of light can will run for 3.5 hours.

The unit has a metal case intended to act as a heat sink, as those LEDs will generate a lot of heat when running at full. There is a very near quick release button on the handlebar mount that makes it easy to and secure to drop it in to place and to remove it. I had no issue quickly popping it off when needed. There is a really handy readout on top showing the expected runtime at your current power level. This really helps in picking the appropriate power level to ensure you’re not going to be left dark unexpectedly. I didn’t test running it down fully, but the timer did seem to count down fairly inline with time passing.

The button controls were a bit weird/confusing. I couldn’t quite work out how they functioned, as various clicks seemed to result in quite different runtimes and power outputs. However just clicking a few times on the buttons would cycle me to a level I was happy with. Charging is via a USB C port covered by a rubber flap. There is also a USB A port, allowing this to act as a power bank if needed. A handy emergency option if you’ve no alternative.

The rear light I really like, it was easy to clip on and control is just by clicking the power button once. Keep clicking to cycle through the various patterns. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that it uses micro USB as its charge connector. I don’t know why the front uses USB C and the back USB Micro. Ideally they should match, otherwise it is another charging cable you’ll need to mess about with. The front wouldn’t charge from a power delivery charger, so you’ll need to use the older style simple USB chargers for these lights. Not much of a problem, but something to be aware of.

Overall a very capable pair of lights for a bike.

The headline really refers to the front light. The rear light is good, plenty bright enough with several flashing modes but its the front light that is the star. It consists of ten LED’s. On the ‘high’ mode the outer six LEDs light up and there are three brightness settings and strobe. The strobe takes a bit of finding but double press the switch in the unlikely event you wish to use it. High is really bright on the highest setting and I doubt you will need this much light under most circumstances. So called low mode lights up the middle 4 LED’s and this also has three brightness settings and an SOS mode which again is a double press. You can even use both high and low modes together, probably well OTT in my opinion.
When first switching on or charging (via USB) the present state of charge is displayed, when running an estimate of the time remaining of your battery life is displayed.
I ran the light on low mode (lowest brightness) for an hour and this used around 4% of the battery capacity. I then ran on the highest setting for 15 minutes and this used about 10% of the charge. The torch became warm but not hot on the high setting. These are rough ballpark values but I’m confident that used sensibly there will be plenty of charge for the longest rides unless you are a really extreme cyclist. High mode on medium setting is probably a sweet spot for brightness and battery life.
I really rate this pack highly and I will probably also use the front light as a bright torch when I’m walking. Its easy enough to release from the bike with a straightforward press of a lever. Its early days but this is a decent bike light.

These are a seriously bright set of lights. front light is rather bulky and is housed in an aluminium casting. Both mean that it’s not the lightest if you’re concerned about weight. The light does appear to be well manufactured and a premium product. There are a total of ten LEDs arranged in a bank of six and a bank of four. Each bank is controlled by individual switches located on the top of the unit. The bank of four gives a wider spread of the lamps beam. There are three brightness settings for each bank of lights. The lowest setting is more than adequate for road use. I think the highest setting would be too bright and risks dazzeling oncoming road users. However, this would be great for nightime use on ‘off road’ trails. Also located on the top of the unit is an LED display, which usefully shows how long you can expect the lamp to last before it needs recharging. This time changes as different brightness modes are selected. The display also acts as an indicator of the batteries capacity when charging. The front light is supplied with a rugged aluminium handlebar mount. The lamp can be easily detached from the mount by virtue of a quick release mechanism. On the rear of the lamp and located behind a waterproof rubber cover is a usb c charging port and a usb a power socket. The latter means the whole unit can be used as a power bank to charge mobile phones, etc. The lamp would also be really useful for campers and hikers.

The rear light bar is again slightly oversized but is fairly light due to its plastic construction. Again, the light is bright and has several flashing modes. This is mounted to the seatpost by means of a rubber strap. Recharging is achieved by removing the rubber charging port cover. Two charging cables are supplied, but you’ll have to provide your own power source.

In conclusion, these are a really good set of cycle lights providing intense levels of illumination.
