Outdoor letter box
Does what it said, easy fit if u have a 22yr old with a drill!!..lol havnt used it in the wet weather, but doin its job so far no complaints.
Good size. Easy to fi
Good size. Easy to fit. Post can be viewed through the windows, so you know if the postman has delivered. Top flap opens for post to be inserted
Caution: larger letters can be removed by opening the flap and reaching in.
Looks lovely , came very well packaged and on time? It’s shallow for the mail so u can get the mail out with out un locking , I should have checked interior size , it has a bit for a newspaper , which i new , and should have realised this would take away from. the box , also I find the cover over the lock hard to move , but could just be because it’s new , think i was just used to a bigger one .
Decent size, lightweight, watertight, locking and easy to fit. Appears durable although there are heavier ones available. If you get a lot of mail a bigger one might suit you better, but since there is less and less letter post it will be good enough for most. There is a part at the bottom designed for a newspaper of magazine, although it’s open at both ends. I’ve had this for a few weeks and it’s easy to lock and unlock. I have had no problems at all. It’s a good buy at the price.
Looks good
Didn’t want a letter box spoiling the design of our new door, so had to find a decent looking post box (too many naff ones about) for a good price. Love this one and the postman or ourselves have had no difficulty using it. If I had one criticism, the mail was a little damp on one occasion, but to be fair, it had been left in there 2 days and had been snowing! Would recommend so far. Not expecting it to last years, but the price reflects this.
Nice looking letter box.
This is well made and strong , it has a place to leave newspaper, I won’t use this.
There’s 3 small frosted windows so you can see if you’ve got mail.
The key hole has a small metal disk over it to protect a good quality lock.
Love it would recommend it and would buy again.
Great purchase! X
Excellent but be aware instructions recommend a 6.5mm drill and I found this to be too big for the supplied plugs. So recommend smaller drill or bigger plugs. Easy easy enough to assemble. I like the key the lock for which looks difficult to pick. Good design and well made. X
Does what it says on the box
Good product. The key is a bit rubbish it’s sometimes a nightmare to get in the right place to undo box but otherwise it looks nice and holds mail. Overall I’m happy
A new external door...
…without a letter box slot meant finding a letter box.
This is a slim letter box and just right for a narrow walkway.
That being said the design was beyond our postie and also a couple of other delivery types.
Having educated the postie, they now chose to leave the delivery flap open on wet days…
If the design gets a review in its design a spring closer would solve the open flap scenario.
Apart form defeating the non-technical the unit is nicely made well finished and mostly keeps you mail dry.
