Great price. Dimensions exact.Canvas storage.
I measured & planned what I needed to store in my spare room.
This was easy to clip together. Dimensions were true.
Great storage at a great price.
The central shelving needs care as poles are slid in, as I did have one shelf split.
Perfect for my needs.
Really good quality
Very impressed with this brought for our spare room for extra storage.
Easy to put together
Quite study as the poles are metal the hanging rail is metal too so perfect to hang heavy winter coats.
I would recommend
Easy to assemble and sturdy
I will recommend this for someone on low budget because it is really sturdy. Information in the pack is straightforward and easy to assemble. It is a good choice for me
Does the job !!
Does the job obviously if u read instructions properly and listen to them it last long and it’s amazing !! Just don’t overload it and put too much weight on it apart from that , really good material and desig
Stronger than I though
It is stronger than I thought.
It may take time and patience to assemble though, but if you get it right. It is supper stronger for the purchase price
It is awesome value for money.
It’s nice to see there are still some genuine bargains out there representing value for money especially these days when everyone seems to be trying to pull your pants down. Build quality is good..yes the fittings are plastic but they’re chunky and you get a couple of spares. It’s sturdy. I’ve got twice the amount of clothes in it than wooden wardrobe I had at 10% of the price. This was supposed to be a temporary thing but I’m so impressed il probably just keep it. Anything else just seems a waste of money now other than the aesthetic side of it.
It's something
I found the assembly straightforward. However I did manage to put the plastic connector the wrong way around twice.
Well in all it’s a great bootleg solution until I decide if I want to spend money on a wooden wardrobe.
I’m not putting a lot of heavy jeans on the shelves.
The shelf material could be thicker.
Onc zipped up, it is stylish.
I’ve had this for about 2 months now and it is staying strong! I think after reading other reviews of people saying theirs collapsed I can only think they’ve put way too much heavy items in the wardrobe? Mine is very sturdy and is full of clothes but still going strong.
I haven’t put the cover on as it looks good without. It was a massive pain to put up, but now it’s up it’s brilliant. Amazing value and we are so happy with it.
Worth the price
For the price you can not go wrong definitely worth the price. Yes a little flimsy and you can’t put too much weight but besides that a lot of space. Hanger space is perfect for kids clothes and hangers but a little tight to put adult clothes especially thicker garments on hangers
Good
Very sturdy and looks good. Holds quite a lot though I had to remove the canvas shelves from above the hanger parts as it didn’t sit properly with them on. Also did not come with any instructions so we had to build it using only a photo. But it’s still a good wardrobe for the price.
Not cat friendly
Our cats like to nap in the shelves, and whenever they jump off, their claws rip through it.
There is no realistic way of keeping them out of the wardrobe as they can sneak in through the bottom of the zipper.
We got the ‘white’ one and the colour is more of a magnolia yellow, which was a shock to begin with, but I think we got used to it.
Otherwise, it’s great for the price and would recommend if quick and cheap storage solutions are needed
Does the job
Bought this as a temporary wardrobe whilst decorating, it’s the same size as a normal wardrobe maybe a little less taller but you can fit loads in it. It has two rails and can fit so many clothes on to them. The separate shelves are handy in the middle for organising things that can’t be hanged. Before clothes go in it it is very light weight and can easily be moved, but I would not move it again with clothes in it – it does become heavy and the poles can come lose as I experienced when I decided to move it with a whole wardrobe of clothes in it.
Does what it says on the ti
I was pleasantly surprised with this wardrobe. It serves it purpose and is what I needed given I wasn’t bothered in buying a full blown standard wardrobe while I wait to move into my new house.
It takes some time putting together and it pays to read the instructions however it’s not rocket science.
Neat storage piece too. I have suggested it to family members and I’d probably get another one if required.
4/5 stars as I consider it to be a temporary measure but can absolutely Iive with it long term.
I’ve got shoe racks of the same build so I was hopeful with this wardrobe and it’s been great so far. All the bags for the bars have the codes stamped on them so it was easy to follow the instructions, only issue I had was making sure the connectors were the right way round but that was me not the product.
The bars to hang clothes from were a little awkward to clip on and make sure they stayed in place but I got there in the end. The rails have a few heavy coats on them and it’s not been a problem. I’ve folded clothes and put them on the top shelves but I’ve also had to put them under the hung clothes but it’s not the end of the world and I do have quite a lot of winter stuff so I did think it would be a bit of a squeeze. There’s also a few coats on tip of the wardrobe and the weight hasn’t caused any issues.
Wardrobe didn’t take as long as I thought to build, I didn’t time it but it took maybe an hour or less. Just be careful with the connectors, there are 2 types that look similar but I laid everything out in an order that worked for me so once I figured them out in was easy. The poles and connectors slot together fairly easily, there is a bit of a knack to it but it’s easy to work out, it’s built from the bottom up and each layer I did have to use some force to slot them together but nothing broke.
Overall I’m really pleased with it. Easy to assemble and doesn’t wobble once it’s put together, I did wonder when I was building it with the gaps to hang clothes, but once it’s assembled it’s secure. Only problem was with the ties 1 of them only had 1 tab so I could only tie 1 corner of the cover but, again, that hasn’t caused a problem and certainly didn’t warrant sending it back. I’m planning on using it long term rather than as a temporary thing and I’m pretty confident it will last well.
I bought this unit to replace old work out wardrobes that have seen better days.
For the cost of this new unit. I know some people will be sceptical about its quality but took a gamble and bought this.
Construction was quite easy as familiar with assembling furniture but skill level for assembling this is reasonably easy.
Instructions were easy to read, and diagrams were detailed on how to start the assembly.
Knowing me I made a few errors on assembly as already had an idea how to do this but got a little carried away. But managed to correct the error simply without any hassle so if you do make a mistake on what goes where, it is very simple to undo.
With the shelves, as these are fabric, do not put extremely heavy items on these as obviously these will fail, but each shelf can take some weight. Assembling these were easy.
But once the whole unit is assembled. It is very sturdy but would not advise kids using it as a climbing frame as it will not end well. But it is quite strong to store clothing and plenty of space to clothing items.
With the empty shelves I am going to add some containers so can store other items and the space on each shelf can pretty much hold a storage of 40 cm deep by 30 cm wide and 30 cm high and probably have some room to ensure they fit.
But in general, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap alternative storage option.
TLDR; Absolutely brilliant! Cheap, durable and stores a LOT of my clothing and various items! would 100% recommend, and would purchase again should I need another wardrobe!
I recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) bought a wardrobe for over 200+ from another warehouse style store, and it didn’t last 5 minutes. I was refused a refund, so came to look on Amazon. I was recommended a similar wardrobe to this one by a buddy of mine who lives in The US. I was hesitant at first, seeing that it was less than 40. I had something similar to this before I decided a new one (that one was also from the first place I mentioned – which I won’t ever be returning to!) I decided to go for it, and though if it only lasts me a month, it wasn’t much. It arrived on time and was packaged securely. The box was small so I was thinking the worst. I got all the parts out on my kitchen table, and to my relief found all parts present and accounted for. The instructions were clear, and gave diagrams to refer to. The build itself took me 30 minutes tops! The hardest part was remembering which side to put the fabric shelves/which side to have facing up. I did the build in stages, building the bottom part, taking it up and placing it where I wanted it, then the middle and the same for the top. My only complaint, which is a minor one, is that the clothing rails are very high, so anything you hang or take off the rail, scrapes against the bottom of the top shelf, but it (so far) hasn’t affected the shelf or the rail. It balances well due to the 2 wardrobe bits being on each side, and holds a lot of clothing! The shelves equally hold as much, and the bottom of mine holds plastic boxes filled with tat! Very impressed with this wardrobe, and would highly recommend! I left it 24 hours without anything on just to make sure it stood (as I couldn’t say the same as the one from the other store!) and 3 weeks later it’s still standing strong. I waited some time to leave a review just to make sure it was still the case, and it sure is. Would definitely buy again if the need arose for a second wardrobe!
I was moving into a new flat and was on a budget, I search for hours to find something that was value for money or second hand but this was still the best deal. I went to argos and there was no wardrobe as big as this or as cheap. So this is definitely a bargain.
Lots of spare parts to it as well and so easy to assemble. Everything is labelled clearly with clear picture instructions. The canvas is also alot sturdier than I thought as I put heavy boxes on them. At one point I also stored my king sized duvet at the top with some pillows and it didn’t collapse under the weight.
I also had to move it at some point and taking a few heavy boxes off, me and a friend manage to move it with all my clothes still in and it stayed intact and solid.
Another point and why I gave it five stars was the fact my ceiling collapsed, I woke to thinking what I thought was a magnitude 5 earthquake.
But thanks to the flexibility of how this wardrobe was built, it swayed like bamboo and dissipated most of the energy, I thought it would’ve collapsed and fell on top of me as I sleep right next to it on a futon and saw my wardrobe swing further than the leaning tower of pisa and stretched at more than a 60 degree angle. I thought, this was it, it’s going to fall. But instead it just jiggled like a jelly and went back to standing strong and straight.
I was in shock and went back to sleep as this was at 5:55am and when I woke up I found the extent of the damage of the ceiling and as you can see from the photo attached, despite all that weight swinging with force, it still held on and the canvas part actually still stayed intact without a rip.
If that isnt proof of sturdiness and flexibility I don’t know what is.
