During 2020 I tried most gloves out there and settled on these. I have OCD and buy around 8-10 packs of these a month. They are thicker than most, have a texture on the outside, and are far more durable than flimsy garage forecourt ones.

Quite thick plastic. Useful for many purposes. Good value for money.r money
I prefer these plastic gloves because they are thick, easy to open, put on and pull off. I use mine for refilling bird feeders, putting my wheelie bins back in their place, picking up rubbish on my front lawn, emptying and changing bins, emptying cat litter trays, checking oil in my car, refuelling my car, and handling anything really, that you wouldn’t want to touch with bare hands.
When I bought them they were 5.00, which is good value, as my local supermarket charges more for the same item. 5 stars
Strong disposable gloves
Had to return a previous order of similar gloves which split on first use but these are much better quality.
They are a universal size and will fit a man’s hands too. They don’t split when you use them for a mucky job.
I’ve been using these for a few years. I strongly dislike stretchy, thick rubber gloves, which are overkill for everday household chores. These are spacious without being annoying, and robust enough to protect you from cleaning fluids, paint etc. They’re easy to put on and take off, and can be reused if necessary. At less than 6p per glove, don’t expect luxury, but for decorating, cleaning the bathroom or light car/bike maintenance their only downside is the environmental cost that comes with disposability.
Amazon - Please don't remove the standard packaging
I know that these come from spontex as sealed packs of four, so I ordered 8 so that I could have two sealed packs of four for easy storage. Unfortunately, Amazon has gone to the extra time and trouble of removing all the packaging so I got eight loose boxes, exactly what I didn’t want. Please Amazon, in future, don’t waste your time and money removing the packaging we actually want left intact. Many thanks.
Does its job!
These disposable gloves are very easy to put on and take off. I use them with desinfectant wipes whenever I am outside the house and need to use public toilets and similar. The use of these gloves protect my nails.
Durable but not stretchy
These gloves are a good size and ok to work in, but they do not stretch so are not close fitting. You get excess plastic round the sides of your fingers which can get in the way depending on what job you are doing. I find you can use them, remove them and use them again as they don’t fall apart or tear easily in use.
Great. Better for some tasks than others
The gloves do a great job for their purpose, ie.. provide a barrier between hands and food. They don’t burst at seams or fall off, but they’re big and for me, I found the excess length at finger tips getting in the way of the task in hand when doing the likes of peeling garliic and cutting little spice peppers. They are great when dealing with raw food but if chopping meat I would reach for kitchen scissors rather than a knife
Keeps hands clea
These are just as described, they do not fit closely and will be quite large for some, the material is quite thin but fairly strong. These are not gloves for heavy household tasks but more for single use. I use these when handling food like meats, chillies and acidic fruits etc as these types of food irritate my skin. I always have a box standing in my food prep area in the kitchen ready for use.
For me, they work well, hence the fact that I have ordered them quite a few times. The only downside is that they have jumped in price quite considerably ( by 2 a box) since the start of Covid !!!
Massive!
I am a size 7 glove and these gloves are very large for me, able to use them though for little jobs. On the whole, very pleased with them and such a good price.
Single use gloves
The ordering process and delivery was prompt and excellent.
The quality of the gloves is good. Be aware they are quite thin and feel stiff on the hand. They ripp easily.
Disposable gloves
I should have checked this more closely… they are rather loose on my medium size hands, much like the ones you get with hair dyes. I’d have liked them to be a bit more fitting so they don’t feel like they are going to slip off.
I bought 2 boxes of these at 2 each which compared to the supermarket price I got 2 boxes for under the price of 1!! They are a good fit and useful for cleaning out the cats trays which is basically what we use them for. They are more than adequate to do this task, however I don’t think they would be good for general cleaning as I don’t think they would last long especially if you were scrubbing or using lots of elbow grease. We use the normal rubber gloves for those tasks. So all in all good value for what we require them for but may no suit everyone.
I ordered the Spontex Multi-Purpose Disposable Gloves mainly to use in the car or garden to prevent grease and gunge getting on my hands and under the nails – not that I mind getting my hands dirty, but there are some sticky things that are virtually impossible to wash off like the sticky tape stuff that goes round the bottom of fruit trees!! These gloves are thin, flexible and soft but do the trick and if treated with care can be reused until they get too messy, then thrown away in the recycling bin! I am not a fan of too many disposable plastic things but if they are sturdy enough to be reused and recycled responsibly it’s a good thing. These are a good size pack which would be particularly useful for carers and domestic use for when items need to be handled too so a useful item to have.
