Are Tefal non-stick coatings safe?
Tefal produces all of its PTFE non-stick coatings, which are 100% safe and free from PFOA, lead and cadmium. All of our pans are fully traceable.
How does the Thermo-Signal work?
The Thermo-Signal indicates when your pan is at the optimal temperature to start cooking, it turns solid red when the pan reaches cooking temperature, once reached for best results lower temp slightly to maintain optimal temp throughout cooking!

cooktop. It has a feature of recognising the quality of the pot and it rates the top quality. Happy with the detachable handles. It came with 2, but we purchased another. It does collect food behind the handle where it clamps to the pot, but just move it to another location if you find it annoying.
We’ve only just got our new kitchen, so will review in 12 months time.
After a lot of reviews and research I chose these and I am not disappointed at all. Delivery was fast as well. Being able to remove the handle makes wash up easy if not putting them in the dishwasher.
They clean easy or stick them in dishwasher. The stainless pots did not maintain its shine on the inside tho, cooking food especially the acidic ones (i think) left marks and spots like watermarks and cant get rid of it, outside remains shiny and nice tho.
i am sooo happy with the removable handle and the lids. Overall, i am happy with this set.
I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this set of pots and pans as it felt like an expensive purchase but it was well worth it. This particular combination (13 piece) is a great set as we’ve used every single piece on a weekly basis. Least used is the lids for the fridge but recently used them to prepare a meal the day before on the hob, kept in the fridge with the lid overnight and then put in the oven the next day.
The premium handles are really sturdy, and easy to clean. Frustratingly the handles can’t be put in the dishwasher but considering the rest can be put in the dishwasher it is a minor frustration.
The frying pans and pots are in the dishwasher multiple times a week and provided they are in the top shelf, I have so far found them to be exceptionally easy to clean.
This set doesn’t come with storage pads to avoid scratches, and I would say these would be a good idea to purchase also. I used the cardboard/packaging that came with them in the first few weeks but would recommend the pads to avoid scratches especially to the frying pans.
From this set I’m also a huge fan of the saute pan with the high sides and a lid. As someone who cooks a lot of ‘one pot’ meals, the saute pans has provided a huge amount of flexibility for these types of meals.
I would highly recommend.
1. Deckel Caveat: Die Glasdeckel sind sehr schn verarbeitet, lassen sich gut aufbewahren und passen perfekt, auch wenn ein Griff angebracht ist. Aber: Sie beschlagen so sehr, dass man berhaupt nicht sieht, was im Topf vor sich geht. Das kenne ich weder von flachen Ikea Deckeln noch von anderen – gewlbten – Deckeln. Macht das Glas nutzlos. Sehr schade.
2. Kleine Pfanne: In der Beschreibung stehen widersprchliche Angaben zur Gre der kleinen Pfanne.. mal 24 cm, mal 22 cm. In meiner Box gab es:
16 cm und 20 cm Edelstahltopf
! 24 cm ! und 28 cm Bratpfanne (bin froh ber die 24 cm Pfanne)
24 cm Schmorpfanne
26 cm Wok (Auflageflche ca. 16 cm Durchmesser)
16 cm, 20 cm und 24 cm Glasdeckel, jeweils mit klappbarem Griff (lassen sich gut stapeln)
16 cm und 20 cm Plastikdeckel (nur fr Khlschrank, nicht fr Kochen/Ofen)
2 Griffe
Sieht alles sehr gut aus, muss sich aber noch im Einsatz bewhren (gerade erst ausgepackt).
3. Im Kleingedruckten steht brigens (nur zur Info; bernehme keine Haftung!; selbst lesen bitte) u.a.:
– Induktion: Kochgeschirr nicht leer erhitzen
– Kochgeschirr generell nicht berhitzen (z.B. Fett/l nicht bis es raucht oder schwarz wird)
– Keine Messer und (Metall-)Schneebesen verwenden
– Deckel und Griffe sind nicht geeignet fr Ofen
– kein kaltes Wasser direkt in heisses Kochgeschirr geben
– Handsplen empfohlen (heisses Wasser, flssiges Splmittel, weicher Schwamm)
– Falls Splmaschine: sanfte Reinigungsmittel verwenden (wie Flssig-, Gel- oder oder Pulverreiniger); Reinigungstabletten oder Sachets vermeiden
– Griff feucht abwischen, nicht in die Splmaschine geben oder in Wasser eintauchen
– keine surehaltigen Labensmittel im Kochgeschirr aufbewahren (Tomaten, Zitronensaft, Essig etc)
– nicht geeignet fr Mikrowelle
If space is a big priority for you when it comes to buying pans, these are exactly what you need
They collapse so small I can’t believe how much free space I have now
The genius part is having the removable handles, it means stacking them is far easier and more efficient
The handles clip back on fine and it does not feel weak when holding them
My 4 star rating is because they are fairly expensive though
Most Tefal kit is good quality and this is no exception. This set contains well made and superbly finiahed pans, lids and handles.
This set is unique in that the handles are removable via and easy button system, meaning it is easier to store. The set comes with 2 handles that fit every pan.
The pans themselves are a good range of sizes, so with teflon no stick coating.
They heat quickly and evenily on my hob and are suitable for all hob types i believe.
At time of review they were 239, they are quality but this maybe a little over the top for anyone who just does a bit of cooking at home.

This is a wonderful set of pans. Firstly, it’s tefal, a very good, quality brand. There are 15 pieces in the set, including two saucepans, two frying pans, a wok and a state pan. There are also three glass lids and two handles, which detach to fit the different pans as you use them. They are really incredibly well designed and made, they work on the heat induction principle and this spreads heat evenly through the metal to ensure even cooking. The lids and handles are heatproof too. Altogether, this is about the best set of pans I’ve ever had. They are expensive, but you do get what you pay for in this case. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
In love with these pans from Tefal! It’s a really good basic set with everything you need but the main distinguishing feature is the clever handle design.

These are beautiful pans , they look so nice and the fact that they store so easily is amazing. The handles are easy to attach and detach. The handles feel really comfortable and are very strong and secure. The pans have a red spot in the middle that let’s you know when the pan is ready to use. There is a lot of pans for all of your cooking needs. The non stick coating is amazing. The bottoms make sure there is even heat distribution. Yes they are expensive but they will last for ages , they don’t take up much room and they are pure quality.
I have previously purchased Tergal Pots and find them easy to cook in and wash after use -no scrubbing required. Fab size, about the same as a good sized frying pan. Depth is decent to cook multiple different food types. Lid fits perfectly. These will last you a good few years – 200% recommend

Not only are they heavy duty, excellent quality and a brand I know trust, they condense down to practically nothing. Absolutely THE GOAT of storage solutions.
The handles are super sturdy. I was dubious about detachable handles, but wow! These are so strong and safe and so quick and easy to detach and reattach. 1 handed action.
I love that there are 2 pans without the non stick coating. And I also love that the 4 frying pan/woks come with Tefals famous Heat spot.
The 2 click on fridge lids are something I never realised I needed until now. I always store left overs in the fridge, and these have made that an absolute doddle.
The bases on these are thick and heavy, which to me is a sign of excellent quality.
NEVER again will I have to have a battle with the pan cupboard to find which pan I need!!

These are definitely quality pans!
Obviously, the first thing you notice is that the handles come off. In this set you get 2 – which is enough as you only need it when stirring or lifting the pans. The handles are easy to put on/take off, and feel solid/secure when clicked into place (in fact feel more secure than my old pans fixed handles!).
Without handles the pans can go in the oven (not the lids) – which is a bonus. Also if a large pan is too heavy, put a second handle on the other side and then you can carry it with two hands! And because the handles come off the pans stack super neat – you wouldn’t realise how much space they save. Plus the handles on the lids fold flat too!!
My set also had a set of silicone lids so the pan can be used as storage (for leftovers??) in the fridge.
The set are well made and solid – none of the thin flimsy pans here. There are supposed to be suitable for all hobs, but I’ve only tested them on gas. Yes they are expensive but you do get what you pay for and these will last you a long time.
Definitely recommend these.
This pan set comes with everything you will need for a long time with it’s great non stick bases and easy to read heat when ready. Two detachable handles make it easy for the stove top saves space on there and up to 50% in the cupboards they stack inside eachother really easy and the lids are stackable also you can use the pans in the oven so from hob to oven or if you have any left overs you can use the plastic lids to seal a pot and put in your fridge. They can be used on every type of hob even induction hob so very versatile in that respect they are dishwasher safe expect the handles which are easy click on and off. I found it dosent mention if the lids can go in the oven so not sure about that ? . The heat is distributed very well and with a 10year guarantee you’re sure to have these a long time so worth the price would recommend

Has a good variety of high-quality and thick saucepans and pots. It includes everything on its Amazon photo. All pans worked with my induction cooker.
The three lids in different sizes have rubberised edge that feels secure when accidentally dropped. The handles are foldable, making them easy to store and suitable for small spaces.
The four non-stick saucepans in different sizes have an excellent non-stick property: you’ll need minimal oil to cook food. Although I trust this product’s anti-scratch claims, I still use a silicone spatula when cooking just to make sure I won’t ruin them.
The two pots have measurement guides in L. One has a max capacity of 2.8L, while the other has 1.7L max.
The two removable handles feel sturdy, even when handling a full pot of food. It is easy to attach and detach from the pans and pots.
This set came with two plastic lids that perfectly fit the pots.
What’s best of all is the 10-yr warranty that it offers, which is a good selling point to attract consumers as it is too early to say if these pans and pots are durable.
Both my husband and I enjoy cooking our daily dishes like pasta, rice, etc. Overall, I find this set highly recommendable.
I love this set of cookware it’s fantastic! Firstly they have removable handles so they take up much less space in your cupboard, this space saving even goes to the lids as knobs fold flat and they stack on top of each other again saving space. The handles have a click on action which is super secure when on the pan. The quality of the pans is absolutely superb, they feel and look so good. The two saucepans have measurements etched to the insides which is great and each of the frying pans and wok have superior non stick linings as well as the fantastic heat indicator so you know when they are hot enough. If you have cooked extra food and want to store it there are two air tight lids which you can pop on to the two saucepans and put the saucepan in the fridge minus the handle til the next day and then take it out and reheat, what a great idea and saves an extra container. Overall for superb quality and space saving ingeniousness this is the best cookware set around.
For anyone not familiar with the Tefal Ingenio range they are extremely versatile, they are suitable for use on all hobs including induction so you’re not restricted to a particular oven & place, they feature an innovative space saving design as the handles are fully removable which means they can be stacked for easy compact storage when not in use, this is perfect for kitchens with limited space as these only take up half a shelf in the kitchen cupboard whereas my old pans took up two full shelves!
Being able to remove the handle also has other benefits as it means you can cook on the stove then place it in the oven minus the handle, simply clip your handle back on to safely remove it from the oven when it’s done, the handles feature two large red buttons either side of the base that are pressed in conjunction to extend the clip, hold the clip on the rim of the pan & push the lever underneath of the handle to lock into position, 2 x handles are supplied with this set which can be used on any of these pans.
They all feel & look great quality, they feature a titanium anti-scratch non stick coating & Tefal’s famous thermo-signal design which changes colour to indicate that your pan is ready to cook, they are also dishwasher safe without the handles.
I’m so pleased with these that I will be leaving my old pans out for the metal man to scrap, I have gained so much more additional storage space in my small kitchen using these that I’m reluctant to return to my previous space hogging pans!
