Are Tefal non-stick coatings safe?
Tefal produces all of its PTFE non-stick coatings, which are 100% safe and free from PFOA, lead and cadmium. All of our pans are fully traceable.
How does the Thermo-Signal work?
The Thermo-Signal indicates when your pan is at the optimal temperature to start cooking, it turns solid red when the pan reaches cooking temperature, once reached for best results lower temp slightly to maintain optimal temp throughout cooking!

They clean easy or stick them in dishwasher. The stainless pots did not maintain its shine on the inside tho, cooking food especially the acidic ones (i think) left marks and spots like watermarks and cant get rid of it, outside remains shiny and nice tho.
i am sooo happy with the removable handle and the lids. Overall, i am happy with this set.
I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this set of pots and pans as it felt like an expensive purchase but it was well worth it. This particular combination (13 piece) is a great set as we’ve used every single piece on a weekly basis. Least used is the lids for the fridge but recently used them to prepare a meal the day before on the hob, kept in the fridge with the lid overnight and then put in the oven the next day.
The premium handles are really sturdy, and easy to clean. Frustratingly the handles can’t be put in the dishwasher but considering the rest can be put in the dishwasher it is a minor frustration.
The frying pans and pots are in the dishwasher multiple times a week and provided they are in the top shelf, I have so far found them to be exceptionally easy to clean.
This set doesn’t come with storage pads to avoid scratches, and I would say these would be a good idea to purchase also. I used the cardboard/packaging that came with them in the first few weeks but would recommend the pads to avoid scratches especially to the frying pans.
From this set I’m also a huge fan of the saute pan with the high sides and a lid. As someone who cooks a lot of ‘one pot’ meals, the saute pans has provided a huge amount of flexibility for these types of meals.
I would highly recommend.
Most Tefal kit is good quality and this is no exception. This set contains well made and superbly finiahed pans, lids and handles.
This set is unique in that the handles are removable via and easy button system, meaning it is easier to store. The set comes with 2 handles that fit every pan.
The pans themselves are a good range of sizes, so with teflon no stick coating.
They heat quickly and evenily on my hob and are suitable for all hob types i believe.
At time of review they were 239, they are quality but this maybe a little over the top for anyone who just does a bit of cooking at home.

Absolutely over the moon with these. What a fantastic pan set.
Not only are they heavy duty, excellent quality and a brand I know trust, they condense down to practically nothing. Absolutely THE GOAT of storage solutions.
The handles are super sturdy. I was dubious about detachable handles, but wow! These are so strong and safe and so quick and easy to detach and reattach. 1 handed action.
I love that there are 2 pans without the non stick coating. And I also love that the 4 frying pan/woks come with Tefals famous Heat spot.
The 2 click on fridge lids are something I never realised I needed until now. I always store left overs in the fridge, and these have made that an absolute doddle.
The bases on these are thick and heavy, which to me is a sign of excellent quality.
NEVER again will I have to have a battle with the pan cupboard to find which pan I need!!

Tefal Ingenio Preference ON 13pc Set
Has a good variety of high-quality and thick saucepans and pots. It includes everything on its Amazon photo. All pans worked with my induction cooker.
The three lids in different sizes have rubberised edge that feels secure when accidentally dropped. The handles are foldable, making them easy to store and suitable for small spaces.
The four non-stick saucepans in different sizes have an excellent non-stick property: you’ll need minimal oil to cook food. Although I trust this product’s anti-scratch claims, I still use a silicone spatula when cooking just to make sure I won’t ruin them.
The two pots have measurement guides in L. One has a max capacity of 2.8L, while the other has 1.7L max.
The two removable handles feel sturdy, even when handling a full pot of food. It is easy to attach and detach from the pans and pots.
This set came with two plastic lids that perfectly fit the pots.
What’s best of all is the 10-yr warranty that it offers, which is a good selling point to attract consumers as it is too early to say if these pans and pots are durable.
Both my husband and I enjoy cooking our daily dishes like pasta, rice, etc. Overall, I find this set highly recommendable.
For anyone not familiar with the Tefal Ingenio range they are extremely versatile, they are suitable for use on all hobs including induction so you’re not restricted to a particular oven & place, they feature an innovative space saving design as the handles are fully removable which means they can be stacked for easy compact storage when not in use, this is perfect for kitchens with limited space as these only take up half a shelf in the kitchen cupboard whereas my old pans took up two full shelves!
Being able to remove the handle also has other benefits as it means you can cook on the stove then place it in the oven minus the handle, simply clip your handle back on to safely remove it from the oven when it’s done, the handles feature two large red buttons either side of the base that are pressed in conjunction to extend the clip, hold the clip on the rim of the pan & push the lever underneath of the handle to lock into position, 2 x handles are supplied with this set which can be used on any of these pans.
They all feel & look great quality, they feature a titanium anti-scratch non stick coating & Tefal’s famous thermo-signal design which changes colour to indicate that your pan is ready to cook, they are also dishwasher safe without the handles.
I’m so pleased with these that I will be leaving my old pans out for the metal man to scrap, I have gained so much more additional storage space in my small kitchen using these that I’m reluctant to return to my previous space hogging pans!
