    Perfect For Protein Shakes
I like the taste and texture of this protein powder with semi skimmed milk. It’s a saving grace because my diet is quite strict and this is a treat to myself. I’d say it would be off the scale if it was chocolate orange

Good quality protein without the cals
With 25g protein and only 115 cals per serving. Means do not need to worry about bulking too much. Presently taking 2 x 2 servings per day with a calorie control diet and losing weight. Getting essential protein and nutrients I am making great gains. Taste is not overpowering so easy on the pallet. With 133 servings In a tub it lasts for well over a month. Great value for money.

Amazing price for the amount of protein supplied
Not sure why people down grade this on taste! who cares about the taste. Its all about the protein. It mixes very well in a standard shaker and I have never had clumps, so I’m not sure what sort of shakers other reviewers use.
It would be nice if the whole world stopped using artificial sweeteners, but they won’t any time soon so I have to put up with the after taste of this and EVERY OTHER food product and drink in the world. Don’t know why manufacturers think we all want our product sweet. No we don’t. Anyway, this is good, buy it now!

    Don't give up on i
I’m from the era where 5kg of protein from Myprotein.co(n) was under 50, but seeing it jump to 130 over the last decade, I’ve been out the protein game for many years.

I stumbled across this product over a year ago, and it’s taken a year to write this review fairly, because the first 6 months was truly hell, and would have received half a star from me, with only the price keeping it afloat.

Long story short, mixing with water creates 0/5 tasting cement. Mixing with natural or Greek yogurt brings it up to 3.5/5 and once you consider the cheap price, it’ll taste 4/5.

Learn from my mistakes, jump straight to a yogurt mix.

    Bad taste
Ive had this item before and its been great ive spent alot of money on their products but this protein powder when mixed with water tasted awful there was no strawberry flavour at all and tasted absolutely disgusting. I tried to resolve this with amazon but they said they couldn’t do anything and would send me the manufacturer’s details but never did. Very disappointed

    Great Value For Money Produc
I ‘found’ this, for want of a better term, late last year. Big name Brands, like Reflex and PHD, have just gone crazy up in price over the last year or so, taking them – as I use between 2-3 containers of, depending on size of product – a bit out of my price range.

So, tried The Bulk Protein Company – all manner of flavours; White Chocolate, Chocolate, Strawberry and Black Cherry – and found no real difference in terms of taste….probably a bit more protein per serving in these too.

They help with recovery. Help gain muscle. Help lose body fat. Help you save the ‘s in your pocket too!

    Go on, treat yourself.

    G x

    Great Value
This is great value at around the 35 mark depending on when you buy it , using subscribe and save brings it down a little more.

I had the cookies and cream version which I usually add a banana , small scoop of oats and around a tea spoon or more of cacao to give it little more flavour and mixed with mainly water and a little skimmed milk.

Great value for this much product but tastes awful
This strawberry lean protein has 25 g of protein and only 114 calories per serving which is really good. Also, 35 for 4kg seems like a good dial. However, strawberry tastes really weird and mostly reminds of cheap soya yogurtsHowever, if to mix it with a bit of sweetener and coconut milk it becomes tolerable. Would recommend this protein if you’re on a budge

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCan't fault i
This is probably the most digestible protein powder I’ve tried and over the years I’ve tried many. Used to swear by USN muscle fuel anabolic but prices are just getting silly for some of the bigger brands. I also really like the taste of this one although that’s a matter of opinion. People love to leave reviews for these products saying they taste gross or don’t mix well etc etc but taste is really down to the individual and I’ve never found a protein powder that mixes without a bit of effort. It’s just par for the course. This one tastes good to me, it doesn’t leave me feeling bloated at all and it’s reasonably priced by today’s standards

    Good quality for the price
Taste is good, and Macros and ingredients are great! Giving 4 stars, as I usually use plant based milk and a blender to make a smoothie. This Powder blends well but does not whisk, so smoothie is not fluffy but very watery. Still good, but not the consistency that I wanted. For a regular shaker is great though

The Cookies and Cream isn't the nicest but isn't the most horrible and was good value for money.
Got this on discount, 133 servings for under 40 is great value for money! The Cookies and Cream isn’t the nicest taste, actually smells more like coffee or caramel, but doesn’t really taste like it smells. Doesn’t taste like cookies and cream that’s for sure! But it’s not the worst by far and although it’s not tasty, it’s not a struggle to get down either. At that price I’d definitely buy again.

Scoop was at the top... bonus!
After hours looking, comparing prices, reading review etc this was unbelievable so ordered. Glad I did as its an absolute bargain….
Mixing ain’t the best but after some extra shaking it was decent and the flavour/smell was ok too.
If your looking for protein on a budget then it’s a must. Prior to this I had payed about 50 for just a 2.25kg tub from a well known brand… never again!

    Very bland flavou
Quality of product is good as it has a decent amount of protein in it for the price unfortunately I couldn’t get past the taste as it was so bland and dint taste like banana at all really and was thicker consistency than I am usually used to, overall tho it does what it says on the tin, you can get past the blandness after a while as you do get tused to i

    Protein Powder.
I normally pay roughly 15 a kilo for protein. On that basis this would cost 60. I paid over 40% less. I haven’t actually used it yet, but have tried this brand before.
I still have over 3 kilos of other proteins that i am using, so with this i have about 6 months of protein. So don’t have to concern myself with protein for a while.
It’s not as good as Whey gold standard but for half the price your still getting a protein.
You can add and customised your shakes by adding different things to suit your taste. I blend with ice and taste enhancin ingredients.
    It will serve my needs.

    Unprofessional drive
Happy with the product but driver stated he had given the parcel to a resident, in fact they had just left it on the doorstep (if they had been honest it would not have been there for 2hours)

    Great taste
I love the flavour, it doesn’t have that artificial sweetness, perfect for my taste.

The only downside, it is not 100% whey protein, instead it’s a mix of soy and milk. I don’t even like strawberries, but I love the flavour of this.

    Not bad
Was sceptical at first as reviews were mixed. However, package arrived intact, unlike some of the reviews with split boxed which was great. I’ve never used this company before I used to use my protein and then amazon’s own brand amfit but cost increases, made me want to try elsewhere. So for the money and protein servings I cant complain. Its the cheapest on the market. Soke reviews say the taste is horrible however, I think its okay, not the best by a mile but its okay and the main thing for me is getting protein intake in. Also you get what u pay for. Protein also mixes okay, I use a regular shaker cup with metal mixer ball inside does the trick. All in all pretty decent product on a budget and will consider purchasing again after I’m done.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersLike the shakes from 20 years ago
So I was bricking it after ordering without reading the reviews. I mixed with milk and used a blender as I do with all my shakes. This protein tastes like the stuff we had 20 years ago. These days they taste amazing and we are spoilt for choice and flavour. It’s not as good as the mainstream powders flavour wise. But it does the job and fills you up when you need to kill a hunger pang. So if your older like me then it will seem fine. It’s definitely not as bad as I expected and I can easily pound down 3 a day no problem. If your looking for milkshake quality flavour it’s not for you. If your on a budget and want to get your protein up then buy it. If you want flavour then fork out the extra

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBanana Protei
Well I bought the banana protein and there is not a taste of banana to it at all. So if your looking for a nice strong flavoured protein powder this is definitely not for you, this banana protein actually just taste plain or like vanilla if anything but to be honest for the price I am actually not complaining, it’s a huge 4kg of protein for 45 and I think value for money wise its fantastic. The huge tub came completely intact and absolutely filled to the brim with protein powder. So it mate not be the most flavoursome however it does the job and I’m more than happy with my purchase and for the price you can’t expect anything more so I will definitely buy this again although not for at very least 5 weeks minium as this is at very least how long it will last me. I have 3 protein shakes per day and there is 24g of protein in each scoop/shake and there is 133 servings in the 4kg tub. So this means 133 servings in the 4kg tub, I have 3 shakes per day so this tub will last me 44 days. You really can’t complain with that value. I’ve gave 4 stars , I would of given 5 stars if taste was slightly better/stronger but as I’ve repeated a few times now for 45 for a 4kg, 133 servings tub you can’t expect everything

    Does the job
I am returning to getting my health and training on track after a long break and needed a way to up my protein levels easily. This fit the bill nicely especially at the price mark it is at and the low calorie and carb content.
Now for the critique: it was a lot finer powder than thought it would be which was actually a plus in my book as it meant it mixed well. The first shake I made with water and that was flavourless and grainy, but definitely did the job. I then mixed it with 300ml water and a tablespoon of skimmed milk powder and that made a big difference. Most of the graininess had gone, but the flavour was still almost non-existent.
To sum up if you are wanting a good value protein hit then this will do the job, just make sure you shake it well. The flavour only got a 3 from me as it was far from unpleasant but there was little to nothing of it, that was a plus from me as I prefer unflavoured anyway then add a spoon of coffee or whatever I choose later, but if something is meant to be a flavour I expect it to be that flavour. A very solid 4 stars from me overall and I will probably buy it again if the price stays this good.

Golden Review Award: 40 From Our UsersThis protein is quite serious, I tried all my best jokes. Not even a smirk.
Read the reviews on this powder, wasn’t sure about buying it afterwards. Took a gamble, and it payed off. Arrived on time etc, big black tub, seal unbroken. So, i’m an intermediate to advanced power lifter, I’ve put the hours in when it comes to chugging protein shakes. This one (serious protein – chocolate) is not nearly the worst I’ve used or tasted. Now I go for 2/3 scoops in a standard mesh dispersal type shaker, and if you give it a good enough shake I’ve found it mixes perfectly fine. The taste to me, is that of a blend of whey and casein. Now, i’m not a fan of the taste of any casein I’ve bought before. It’s not the worst, but I’d rather not. Is it drinkable? Yes (it’s not pea protein!) Am I going to cry about it? For this price, not at all. Some reviews stated that is was ‘grainy’, now I wouldn’t describe mine like that. ‘Floury’, well maybe, I guess, but I would wager those reviewers don’t have much experience with casein or soy proteins. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not as ‘nice’ as ON’s gold standard whey before they recently ‘improved’ the flavour (tastes a bit chemically to me now), but it tastes better than their casein on its own. For the price I’m pleasantly surprised, as for its results… well i don’t know, I’ve only just gone on to it, but I’ll certainly revise my review if i lose all my ‘serious’ gains.
Should you be so concerned about the taste of your protein shake? I mean, If you’re drinking it to lose weight, should it really taste like a milkshake? If you’re drinking it to gain or maintain lean muscle, should it really taste like a milkshake? If it’s ‘no pain no gain’ when you’re working out (don’t injure yourself – if it hurts, stop), should you need to drink milkshake? If you want some super sweet whey isolate protein or need someone to shake it for you because lumps make you sulk and slam doors, don’t go for this. If you want loads of ‘meh, okay’ tasting Whey/casein/soy blend protein and you don’t get to stir it with a silver spoon because you’re a Dickensian street urchin, go for this, it’s worth what they’re charging. What really matters is that you keep lifting/fitness/healthy.
