An Excellent Sturdy Storage Work-Horse.
This is a HD for STORAGE. If you understand that then you understand you have got a great product. If you thought you were buying a super-fast , slinky silent 12 TB SSD RAID System for this kind of money you need to up your techology research skills.
Store the files you need to store then leave the disk aside untill you need to retrieve or store more.
I use mine as a Safe Vault for videos that I shoot. It’s a Master Back Up for me. With the size of the files I generate ( 8 Gig per one minute of video) I think I will be able to store about 28 hours before having to buy another. I’m even thinking about getting another just to have a Master back-up of the Master Back-Up 🙂 The videos represent thousands of hours of work and cost so it makes sense.
Fast and reliable!
I have this for my plex media server and not only is it a super fast server, but it also looks great too. It is 100% square, sleek, and this makes it super sturdy. I am not sure you are meant to do this, but you can even put things on top of it because it is so sturdy! Or slip it in between books on a bookshelf etc etc. Fantastic buy
Reliable external hard drive
I am extremely happy with this external hard drive. It’s 10TB and works as a great add on to my desktop. It’s a small compact size so that I can travel with it out of the country. It’s also extremely sturdy and I feel that it’s not going to break or get damaged easily. It was super easy to set up and plug in. If you do need any help though an instruction manual is provided which is clear and concise.

Perfect for archiving, media storage.
It is a 3.5inch HDD – made for stroage not an ssd or nvme so expect the read/write speeds as such.
Being such it is not silent. Not an issue as all HDDs give some noise.
Reading some of the reviews, clearly people are expecting NVME speeds and silence from a 10TB hdd, Not gonna happen.
if you want a high storage external HDD this is perfect and great value.
It’s working well so far pleased with it. Only issue I have with it that it never turns off when I turn off the PS5 it’s connected too. I think could effect it’s long term effects as it doesn’t ever turn off it constantly working. The one I had before that for over 10 years turned off whenever I turned off the console.
